Probably my favorite food truck at the Can Opener, which is saying a lot because I've enjoyed all the trucks there! Got the kimchi bulfries with spicy pork; it also comes with waffle fries, 4-cheese blend, pan-fried kimchi, cilantro & a sunny-side up egg topped with Spicy Aioli and Joe's Spicy sauce. Such an awesome explosion of flavors & textures! Ambiance is great here, with tons of covered outdoor & indoor seating. Service was fast. Free parking is available on the adjacent W Pettigrew St. 10/10 would recommend!
I've been tracking this food truck for over a month and had struck out on two previous attempts so U was happy they were finally at Oak City Brewing nearby. Very fast service (like 2 minutes to get my order) and the employee was friendly. The beef bibimbap is DELICIOUS. You know the happy face that Buddy the Elf made when he was eating his spaghetti mixed with pop tarts? Yah, I felt the same way digging into my bibimbap with an egg over easy and a side of spicy kimchi. All the flavors mix together so well and it's a tasty (and filling...you get a large portion) combination. Do yourself a favor, stalk the truck!
WOW this place was incredible. We had the Korean Beef bulgogi roll which was deep friend. The gentleman there mentioned we should we get the sweet soy sauce and spicy mayo to dip the roll in, the was some of the best advice ever! The service here was great, super friendly staff. The prices were a tad high, not sure if that because we were at the State Fair or if that's normal. We'll be back!
The Bulkogi truck came to our campus for lunch and I was so excited to finally try their food! I got the spicy pork burrito bowl and it was absolute delicious! I'm pretty weak when it comes to spice, so my nose did run a little, but it didn't take away from the taste at all. The potion was great for the price I paid and the meal was very substantial! The pork was very flavorful and tender. I really liked the sweet and sour sauce and drizzled it all over. Overall, I would definitely eat from Bulkogi truck again! I hope I see it again soon!
Wow. Such delicious Korean fusion food. I got the spicy beef bibimbap, and to be clear, it was a little pricey for food truck food ($17!) But I was craving Korean food. It did NOT disappoint and it came with so much food! I could've saved some for 2 meals, but it was so good that I had to stuff myself. Definitely recommend the spicy beef rather than regular: it's not too spicy but adds a needed touch. The food was made rather quickly as well. If bulkogi is ever in my area again, I will 100% be back!
Some of the ingredients went sour and ended up giving me a big tummy ache. The marinated chicken left a lot of be desired. Service was quick. The chicken bibimbop was a little disappointing.
Finally tried this after passing it for months. I had the 3 taco plate - spicy chicken, chicken and spicy tofu. It was ok. Nothing special. They said they don't usually allow you to get just 1 tofu which didn't make sense since you can get just one taco. Meh. I was interested in the fried rice kimchi. Maybe will try that next time I am at Vicious Fishes and they are there.
When I heard this food truck was coming to the neighborhood I came straight here to check out reviews. Seeing such great ones, I knew we had to try it, and boy am I glad we did! Some of the best bibimbap I've ever had! Every item in the bap was seasoned and treated with care. Loved the spicy chicken. Husband was very fond of his spicy beef burrito bowl. And both of us really liked the side of dumplings. Service friendly and quick. Generous portions. (I have enough left for breakfast tomorrow). Reasonable prices. Great quality and awesome flavor. These folks have perfected their craft. GO pick your BBQ protein and the style you want it prepared and enjoy. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love this food truck. Their bulgogi is on point, their food is delicious, I can't get enough! I love their fried rice and bulgogi plate because it is perfectly balanced, great flavor, and so much food! You get such a large amount of food and it is great! The gentleman at the window was super friendly and I loved talking to him while waiting for the food! I highly, highly recommend everyone try this food truck.
The only item I ever eat at Bulkogi truck are their tacos. I think their tacos are very flavorful and the spicy sauce really delivers. I love the crunchy veggies that comes inside the tacos. The meat is always dripping with juice, so you better eat fast or the tacos will get soggy within 5 minutes. Although the meat is good - overall I think it is a bit on the sweeter side. The tacos themselves are a good portion and are filled to the brim with meat and veggies - honestly, even two is pretty filling. I would actually give Bulkogi Truck a 3.5/5 for their tacos - I just wished they could prevent the juice-sauce from getting into the to-go container so that the tacos don't get soggy. Taste: 3.5/5 Presentation: 3/5 Recommend to a friend?: Hesitant... Consistent: Yes Cost: $$ Parking: The truck drives around RTP area.
What a treat! Fresh super flavorful Korean food from this food truck with respectful sweet staff. We had the chicken bulkogi over rice snd it was spicy and wonderful. The chicken was tender and the flavors were off the chart. Then we also shared the 3 chicken tacos. They were also spicy wonderful with a touch of sweetness. Love love this truck and can't wait to go to Durham to try their restaurant, Namu.

I finally got the opportunity to try the bulkogi food truck at an event in Raleigh. The truck seemed to be the most popular as the line was a little long but it moved fairly quickly. Ashley took my order and he was very personable & helpful. I got the spicy chicken bibimbap with my egg cooked well done and no sesame seeds. I got my food in a timely manner. My food was good & flavorful. The chicken was tender, my rice was fluffy, and the pickled radish was good. I would get this dish again. read more

Tried 3 diff tacos--the spicy beef, reg chicken and curry chicken and it was packed with flavor. The spicy beef was def my fav out of the three. I give it 4 stars because I think they should double the corn tortilla, by the time I got home to eat it they were falling apart. But still very good and I'll def be back. read more

Went to their food truck. These people know how to make an over easy egg even in a food truck. Everything is amazing, and you really can't go wrong. The meat in the cheesesteak was a bit dry, but that was my only complaint. Every bowl I got was 10/10 read more

Okay, so this the second time I've had the pleasant to try the Bull City Bulkogi Truck. Both have been events (work and Offline) and they've done a remarkable job given the amount of people and time constraints, so you're not standing around 20+ minutes later wondering if you should be playing another game on your phone or not. This last time I tried their Galbi/Kalbi (Short ribs served with Rice & Cilantro). Which was particular to this event. Rating 4.75/5: CON (Just to get this out of the way) - I really don't care for my meat being sweet, so that's where for me the 0.5 mark comes from, but not the end of the world! PROS -The portion was HUGE, and I was able to have some at the event, and take some for home the next day- WIN! -The meal itself came out in under 15 minutes, and the plating wasn't rushed so presentation-wise it looked as great as it tasted. -The garlic flavour helped to ease the sweetness, and although I might be unpopular for saying I would've added just a touch of salt or possibly chili/sriracha. I'll have to keep track of them on Street Food Finder, because I've got a lot of family in the area and they love to support local small businesses too! read more

The service was quick for a food truck, they had sauces set up next to the truck. the truck itself had a nice design and logo. the spicy pork bulgogi was tasty but not spicy for those who are wary. the pickled vegetables that came with my bibimbap tasted fresh . read more
This is one of my favorite food trucks in the area. We had it Thursday night at Bond Brothers Eastside and it did not disappoint. I ordered the regular chicken Bulkogi bibimbap. I kept waiting for my order as others behind me got my order. Finally I realized they'd heard my name wrong as Katie. In addition, they heard my order wrong. They gave me a chicken burrito bowl instead of bibimbap. No worries -- so hard to hear with masks, music and the truck generator. I'd had the bibimbap before and know it's delicious--now I had a chance to try the burrito bowl which was also phenomenal. Food is so flavorful. Highly recommend this truck! read more

Bulkogi has become one of my staple comfort meals during COVID-19. This food truck serves up delicious and flavorful Korean BBQ dishes that will satisfy any craving. My boyfriend and I looooove their bulgogi and have deemed it as one of the best ones in the area, especially given their price point! For only $9-$11, you get an honestly impressive portion of meat and various vegetable toppings over white rice, fried rice, or mixed greens. I've tried their spicy beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi, and they're both packed with flavor that hits the spot. I get my bowls with mixed greens instead of rice, and it's a perfect lunch portion. I'm sure with rice it can even be stretched out to two meals. They also offer a variety of sweet to spicy sauces on the side - just ask! Their website has a "Where's Bulkogi?" tab that shows where their trucks are at. I find myself constantly checking this because I need more of their spicy pork bulgogi in my life. read more

Yummy food truck! It was so convenient at Bond Brothers Beer. We both ordered the bibimbap with tofu. I've had a lot of tofu, but this tofu stands out from the crowd. The amazing flavor made me think it had been marinating in something wonderful for hours. The veggies were all fresh and crunchy. It was fast and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. read more

Biked from Lake Johnson to Trophy via the Walnut Creek trail and this food truck was there. My boyfriend and I both ordered the burrito bowls, mine with spicy pork and his with spicy chicken. The pork bowl was so amazing. I would eat it again in a heartbeat. I did try a piece of chicken but didn't like it nearly as much as my pork. The bowls are $10 which honestly is not bad for a food truck which I think tend to be overpriced. The ONLY negative I will say is that I ordered my boyfriends bowl with no beans because he really hates beans and the cashier called out "no beans!" but I guess did not mark it on the ticket. His bowl arrived with beans and when he went back up to let them know, he said he got some attitude and push back. I understand they were really busy but it is not our fault the dude didnt put it on the ticket and only called it out. They did remake it but he definitely wasn't a huge fan anymore. read more

I was really not expecting anything spectacular from this food truck. Let me tell you I was absolutely BEWILDERED, do you hear me! I thought I'd crowned the Korean pork belly tacos from Salt and Lime Grill as my favorite tacos around but maaaaaaan I think I just found the new winner. There can't be anything topping these. As Kenny the jet Smith said during Vince Carter's year 2000 dunk competition ITZ OVA ladies and gentlemen. The new winner of best tacos is here, Bulkogi food truck. I ordered the Korean bbq tacos. I chose to have all of them made spicy but they also have non-spicy options if you're weak on spice game. Drizzle that sauce on there too. We also split a quesadilla which was absolute fire. I wanted to come back the next day and eat the same thing again, it was all too good. This place has a following and it's obvious why. Apparently they update their location regularly on social media as they tend to rotate between spots. Needless to say they gained a new follower. read more

I got the spicy pork burrito bowl. VERY GOOD. I live 20min from this truck so my food traveled 20min before it was eaten. But a minute or 2 in the mic & it was DELICIOUS. I could go for less rice. But I always have to ask for light rice when I get burrito bowls from other places, so I guess that's standard. But overall I would def go back if I'm in the area. Also, the staff is Very friendly read more

Wonderful blend of hot & cold! I was expecting the veggies to be hot, but they were cold. The spicy beef is full of flavor! Super filling... Didn't finish in one seating.. And the customer service was outstanding! I he only reason I heard one Star was due to the fact that they did not have what I truly wanted - kimchi fried rice! The gentleman working the window explained that it's only available at festivals because of the amount of space required to cook it on the grill. So recommend the bibimbap spicy beef - it's delicious read more
Food trucks are cool. Walk up to a food truck, and you can expect something quick, full of flavor, and probably close to $10 for a price point. Bulkogi Truck nailed all of those things. I ordered the Spicy Beef Bulkogi. It came with a vegetable fried rice. Fried egg and kimchi run you $1 and $2 extra. Wait a second, $2 extra for kimchi? Huh? You know what, I was way too harsh with Nahm San in Los Angeles. The food arrived fairly quickly despite the Packapalooza mob. All of the flavors were there, and the portioning was low for a Korean place, but fine overall. Still, I miss Nahm San's BBQ soy sauce, fried egg, and kim chi being included in the price ;_;. I'm curious enough to try the tacos and the burrito bowl the next time I'm near Bulkogi Truck. While it wasn't the absolute best thing that I've ever tasted, Bulkogi Truck still managed to execute well. Consider me a fan. read more
