I took a photo of it and kept the receipt (picture) to ask them for another product to replace the rotten one, expecting fairness from the management. However, for my surprise, the manager told me I should have kept the rotten pineapple and take it to the store to show it to him, otherwise he wouldn't be able to replace it. So I should have kept a rotten and stinky pineapple in my house for 2 days (since I wasn't able to go there the day after the purchase, and could only make it on wednsday), so I would show him this fruit so this way he would be able to allow me to replace it for any other $3.99 product. I used to be a customer at this store, as well as my brother and sister-in-law. None of us will ever go there again, for good.

The place is split into a large deli/produce section and a conventional (shelf) section. They also have random perky things such as an ice cream and popcorn section. On my last visit, I was looking for Arborio rice and saw that the prices for Thai jasmine rice and Kokuho rose rice were very fair and were even lower than the other stores. Same for the original popular Huy Fong sriracha sauce. The prices for both big and small bottles were not jacked up insanely with the current shortage. I like getting the frozen pies here. They stock Aussie Pie Guy which I love. Occasionally I will get Ernest ice cream here too. The price is the same as the ice cream shop itself. There is also a coffee shop inside (Caffe Artigiano) with seating. There is a good variety of artisan bread here and the grab and go meals are pretty good. I decided to get the chicken tenders and the total + the free dipping sauce (first one is free) = $6.11 and the chicken ended up being relatively tender and moist. Is the best tasting chicken ever? No but it does the job if you are hungry and needed something quick. and also the dipping sauce helped a lot too. I also noticed some hot pot meat slices and it's kind of surprising as I didn't really expect them to have these as I've only ever really seen them in Asian stores.
