I hired NXT Construction to remodel my duplex in Copperas Cove, and the entire experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. From the beginning, I was told certain items were included in the project, but later almost everything became a "change order" or an upcharge. They're cheap. They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor. Save your money.

I've had to threaten to go to court at this point because they are refusing to refund $6,000 for a job that was never performed and because of their complete lack of communication and very POOR customer service. After two weeks of waiting on a refund, I was told that I'm emotional, angry, upset, etc. Both Robert and his wife Stephanie have said these things to me verbally over the phone. Then I was told I am the problem. Would you not be upset if someone was holding $6K of your money and refusing to give it back and just giving excuses? Basically, I call and get name called and when I respond in like, I'm the "emotional" one. They said deposits are not refundable in general... Nowhere in the contract or the few emails I have was I ever told that I this money was non-refundable. I would not have signed the contract had I known this. In my experience, you pay a contractor at completion or the money is refundable. Also, I was never told or given a timeline for my job so it is the reason I reached out frequently (with no response from them) and ultimately decided I did not want to work with this company anymore. Here's my detailed experience: I requested an estimate 3 months ago. No one reached out to after this appointment. I had to reach out to them ~3-4 weeks later for the estimate. After requesting two things removed, I paid it. Then I reached out several times via calling and emailing to see when my job would be scheduled for. My emails were completely ignored. When I called I was always told by Stephanie that Robert would give me a call back and he never did. It went like this for months. Finally, I left a message stating that I needed to know when I was on the schedule or that I wanted my money back so I could hire someone else. Stephanie called back and said potentially 5/17 and that Robert someone else would call to confirm. On 5/10 I still had no confirmation that they would be there the following week and I had an urgent family situation come up. I decided it wasn't worth the headache anymore to keep trying to deal with this so I called and requested my money back. That's when their true colors really started to show. Stephanie and Robert told me how they are family people and their intentions are to do best by their customers and they wanted to make this right. Ha. Ha. Ha. Jokes on me because I really believed them at first. I again waited a week, didn't hear back. Called and talked to Robert finally who said he has to "chase" down my money and would update me by the end of the week. ONCE AGAIN, he did not call my by the end of the week, so I called him late afternoon on Saturday, left a voicemail and texted. He said I could call anytime. So I call back this morning, he was upset that I had called and texted late Saturday, yet he's the one who said I could call anytime....... He told me "you are angry" and it's making you "forget things". I asked for proof in writing where it states the timeline for my job and that the deposit was non-refundable. He told me, "I never put timelines in writing because I don't want to be held to it." THERE IT IS!!!! So Robert and Stephanie don't want to be held accountable to do the work in a timely manner, but they want to hold me accountable for the money. I finally had to say if I do not have my money back by the end of the week, I'm filing a lawsuit in small claims court. I do not want to do this at all. It's just another headache to go through. But I will not stand by and let someone steal $6,000 from me.

The price was reasonable for class 4 shingles and solar panel removal on a 3-story roof. The roofing work was done on schedule. All planning previous with material delivery and removal were on schedule. The workers were diligent and thorough with removing the fallen nails after cleanup per my request. I also appreciate Daniel's office staff with scheduling and documentation with insurance working between me and one other decision-maker in the quote process. There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. If you need work done on your home, give Joe a call and include Capco in your list of estimates. I believe you will be glad you did. Best wishes to you.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my family, and we just want to express how satisfied and…read moregrateful we are for the work that's been done in our home. We initially reached out to GIS because my engagement party was being held at my family's home, and we needed the interior repainted. We also decided to replace the outlets for a fresher look. Tony and Mark were the ones who came out to get everything started, and the inside looks absolutely beautiful now! After the party, we decided to take things a step further and have the wood flooring in our living room replaced to match the rest of the house. Once again, Tony, Mark, and their team were incredible, fast, detail-oriented, and so professional. The attention to detail during both the removal and installation of the flooring really stood out. During that project, my grandmother mentioned a few floorboards in her bedroom that had started to buckle. When Mark came to inspect, he discovered moisture beneath the boards and immediately walked us through all possible scenarios. Together with Tony, he helped us find a solution and identified that the issue came from a window that hadn't been properly sealed, allowing water to leak inside. While that was unexpected, we were so thankful for their honesty and transparency throughout the process. Once the window, wall, and flooring were repaired, her room has never looked better! We also had the inside and outside of our fireplace redone, which looks amazing, along with refreshed caulking in both bathrooms that really gave the spaces a clean, updated look. Every project completed by Tony, Mark, and the rest of the GIS team has been superb. They're incredibly communicative, always keeping us updated on progress, timelines, and next steps. They've been patient in answering every question, quick to send detailed proposals for new projects, and most importantly, consistent in delivering quality, beautiful work. We honestly couldn't recommend them enough!
