Best roof inspection and advice I ever had…read more I cannot say enough good things about Garett Kates from GK HOMES AND ROOFING. We had our roof replaced by a different company in October 2023. About a year after that we found exposed nails in there and decided to get independent roof inspection. Garret looked at it, and that was not just look. Roof inspection he did was much longer then inspection from original company and much more thorough and detailed. There not just nails exposed, but improper flashing sealing, missing valleys flashing, silicon improperly applied to the bottom on a valley, etc. Garret prepared comprehensive report, reviewed our contract with original company pointing what was done incorrectly and even advised how to proceed further as we still have warranty from original company. Also want to note that inspection and advice were given free of charge. Definitely if we had known about GK HOMES AND ROOFING earlier we would use it instead. I would recommend Garett Kates and GK HOMES AND ROOFING to everyone and feel confident they would be taken care of. While he had a strong suspicion about the cause, he didn't want to replace a portion of my roof unnecessarily. Instead, he said that if it happened again, he would come over during the rain to get a clearer picture. I was genuinely surprised and grateful that he didn't charge me for this visit. A day or two later, we experienced strong winds, and several roof tiles were torn off. Once again, Simeon came over the same day and installed a tarp to protect the damaged area. As soon as the rain cleared two days later, he completed the repairs, and I haven't had any leaks since. I'm incredibly thankful to Simeon and his team for their careful approach. Rather than rushing to replace part of my roof, he took the time to assess the situation thoroughly. Because of that, we were able to pinpoint the actual source of the leak--loose tiles at the ridge of the roof. The workmanship was outstanding, and now, I can't even tell the difference between the old and new tiles.

Verstera roofing was recommended to my husband by a friend at work. Simeon and Calvin are very knowledgeable about all kinds of roofs and helped us to think through our options. They are two very nice guys and were easy to talk to and easy to reach as we moved through the long process of city permitting. They made sure I was aware with every step along the way. The roofing crew worked efficiently, and thoroughly cleaned up after the roof was installed. Verstera took such great care of our home and I feel so good about our new roof. I highly recommend this roofing company!

Thankfully things worked out BETTER than advertised and I'm VERY happy with not only the quality of the work but the reasonable cost. If you're into the personal service and general flexibility of family-run shop, Terry and Lynn are available by phone or text at all times and will try their best to meet any request you have of them. And if you're into the professionalism and polish of a big corporation, All-Star Roofing has that too--from the folder-bound quote packet that comes with every estimate and explains everything from the company's background to the week's weather forecast, to the wide selection of products and services and the quality of work. Like every company, there were a few hiccups. They forgot some wire mesh on a small rodent-intrusion repair we did a few months back, and didn't get back out to add it for several weeks. And when we replaced the roof last month, they were a bit late on the first day of work and forgot to alert me. BUT, the thing that makes All Star different from so many other companies is their insistence on apologizing (sincerely), promising to do better, and fixing the problem. Customer service is a serious concern for them. Oh, and did I mention they are a great value? Terry drastically outbid two other companies for the roof replacement last month, and offered a better warranty. We've moved to Dallas, but if they'll make the trip up, we'll definitely be calling Terry about our next roof.

Jeremy came out the same day I contacted him and the rest was history. He basically handled everything, from meeting with the insurance adjuster to keeping me updated on the day to day work that his crew was doing. Fast forward to the storms we recently had, my roof held up great but my fence that has been installed since 2009 did not. I reached out to Jeremy to see if he knew anyone who repaired fences and low and behold, his crew did. Once again, they were at my house next day. Gave me a quote and once again the rest is history. I've got a new fence. Better than the original one, good quality of work and it was done in a day. There were some minor touch ups that needed to be done the next day but overall the fence came out great. I am super satisfied with the service and would recommend Jeremy and Texas Roof Guys to anyone!

The HOA hired Jeremy and his crew to trim broken branches, clear driveways and common areas, and clean up and haul away all the debris. They did that in approximately a week-and-a-half. Our community looked so good, while neighborhoods around us have only just now -- 6 weeks later -- been cleaned up by the City. And those neighbors had to do their own tree trimming and hauling of debris. Our HOA and community couldn't be happier! So if their roofing expertise is even half as good as the work they did with tree trimming and such, you shouldn't be disappointed.
