Thank you for all your quick assistance every time we come for building material! Love this place !

Hubby & I are re-doing our laundry room & I wanted a new french door for it & some ship lap. I looked at HD & Lowe's & a few other places but I actually found the perfect door here. They have very good quality building materials at much better prices than the big box stores. I'm also looking for a new light fixture but I think i'm going to go with a light fixture/ceiling fan combo. Anyhoo if you are looking for a specific window, door, lighting fixture or bathroom vanity etc., they have tons of options at very good prices. Def give them a look before you pay retail. Highest Recommendations. read more

Good morning. Today we were at the Pensacola store and experienced an act of racism. The cashier demanded my ID to buy a door and told me I had to stand in front of him to pay. While we were getting the ID because we had left it in the car, he rudely told my husband to move because there were other people waiting to pay. When I handed him my driver's license, he looked at it and mocked it. He is a rude racist. read more

Great store if you renovating home great prices can't beat that. Use it as my main store to get windows

This store has a no return policy, and I don't care for that, but to that point it's marked everywhere so no surprises. Having said that most of their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, John knows his sh*t , and is just the best. When I go there generally I know exactly what I'm looking for. I'd suggest bringing your own tape measure with you to verify with your own eyes, again no returns. Over the years I've bought some amazing products from BMO and saved thousands. If your not in a I've got to have it right now mode, if they don't have something today give it a few days and check back. Their inventory changes all the time read more

Its a long story but I will just keep it short. Customer service is horrible! the people there with a few exceptions need customer service training. They are rude and don't care about that business. They don't care if they sell or not. The nice gentleman from Hawaii should train them to be polite and respectful. I say He should be the manager so that He can straighten those folks who don't really want to work there. Also, the gentleman who was dusting the furniture and cleaning has better customer skills than the women at the front and the rude lazy men around. The owner needs to do something about it. He has definitely lost clients because I was told not to go there but I still went and it was true what my colleagues had told me about this place. read more

This store carries high end doors and such that are a small fraction of what you would pay aat Home Depot or Lowes. Most doors complete with frames and ready to install are $65-$100. They are $400-$700 elsewhere. And much higher end doors than box stores. If they have what you want you won't regret the trip. David L read more

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Beware the bargain prices. Bought French Doors at what seemed a great price. That is until I found out I couldn't get a permit because the doors didn't have the required sticker. When I asked if I could get my money back I was rudely told no and it wasn't their responsibility to inform their customers the full story on what they were buying. A thousand dollar lesson. This store cannot be trusted. If you buy anything there and you are not an experienced contractor or construction savvy they will take advantage of you. Steer Clear. Bill Milton, Fl read more

This review is as a 'shopper' not as a purchaser. I will likely be a purchaser in the very near future. This store is a great find if you have some flexibility in your window or door opening or are planning to build. read more

Never in my life have a walked into a building material store, an be required to fill out a minor release form to enter with kids. No you can not have my kids names. Also It's extremely hot in the building. read more

I love this place...like a treasure hunt. something different everyday. used this stuff on all our projects. can't beat the price. thankyou BMO read more

The staff was friendly, just be very careful you measure EVERYTHING! Bought a front door and didn't realize the door handle cut outs were drilled at 33 inches. Basically you'd be bending over to open your front door! That was a $285 lesson we learned. ( NO refunds or exchanges) They had to realize this was a bad cut but sold it to us anyway, I'm sure they laughed as we walked out the door... Yep suckers!! read more

Prices are great... customer service; non existent. It should start at the top, but when the owner is rude, what can you expect from your employees. read more

Regarding some of the reviews here - I have been in and around building material stores for over 20 years (all over the country)... this is one of the best you will find for clean/orderly and friendly staff. I personally love that there aren't little kids running around in the store. I have children but when I'm making major decisions for a property, this is a welcome silence for the many parents who don't control their children. Also, regarding complaints about quality - you need to absolutely look over everything THOROUGHLY, this is a discount market, not a Williams-Sonoma showroom. The prices are frankly, incredible but does require a bit of a treasure hunt at times. Lastly, it is the responsibility of the customer to know permitting rules/laws. Your lack of knowledge isn't the businesses issue. If you are paying $65 for a $1200 door - you may ask yourself, am I missing something? Should I know something. Probably is the answer. read more

I stood at the doors for 2 30 minutes and no one helped me as I approached a worker he hides from me until a bigger guy comes by... asked if he could help he said the other guy would...... then 20 min later big guy comes out and said what do u want??? Help I responded!!! He showed me the door and treated me like I was a pos!!! I waited again no help I walked out call ask to speak to the manager and the female refused to allow me to speak to them!!! If I could give them a double 0000000 I would they done deserve a star read more

I'm not sure what's more disgusting, the condition of the store or the managers attitude. Most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with in any kind of store. This guy needs some serious training on how to talk to the public. I have bought materials regularly for years from this place but will never again even think about it. Rather pay twice the cost elsewhere than contribute to this type of establishment. Their prices are way too high for most of their stock anyways. You can find the occasional great deal but, not worth the people. read more

95% of employees were rude, dismissive, arrogant, and unprofessional in how they handled our purchase. They loaded the wrong one initially, came back to exchange for right one and acted as if was our fault. They were certain it was our fault, but we proved them wrong. They eventually gave us the right one but were annoyed that they had to help us get the right one that we paid $1000 for. Will never recommend or do business there again! read more

The people in the front of the Pensacola store are rude. I was about to buy 3 kitchens and 5 bathrooms from them as well as several doors. That won't be happening. I purchased but hadn't picked up one little $100 item and I wanted to exchange it and make a very large order. Not only did they say no but they were beyond rude about it. Told me to take it and sell it on fb marketplace. That is really inconvenient considering I'm busy remodeling 3 place that had major hurricane damage. I mean they have a freaking warehouse that sells cabinets right? That's their business. read more

My all time favorite building supply store in Pensacola! they're a must visit for cabinets!! They also have a great selection of doors and windows and flooring. The staff is friendly and helpful!! Will definitely be back!! read more

This place really has the lowest priced building supplies. Most of their selection is higher end materials, but what they do have is very low priced. For example they have a lot of vanities in the $400-$600 range, but they are all beautiful wood and have marble tops. A lot of what they have is odds and ends. It's perfect for the home do-it-yourselfer. They had 5 boxes of really nice tile for $40. Not enough for a whole house, but if all you are doing is a bathroom it's the perfect amount. They even had a big pile of mahogany for $700. It was some of the most beautiful wood I have ever seen, ( that's what she said). If you have a home project, and are needing materials, you should definitely check here first! read more

I called today to check the availability of a door they recently had in stock. The woman that answered the phone said they didn't have anybody there that could check, I would need to come down and look myself. We were in this store 2 weeks ago and the only door they had was damaged. The young man that assisted us that day said they get trucks on Tuesday and Thursday and to call back and see if they received additional doors. The reason for my phone call today. I later explained this to the woman I spoke with today and she said she didn't know why anyone would have told us that. Could it be a thing called customer service? I called back and asked to speak with a Manager, the young lady that answered the phone wanted to know why? I explained why I was calling and she said well, the manager is going to tell you the same thing. When I asked again for a manager's name she said they had 3. One was at lunch (we were talking at 10:00AM this morning), she didn't mention the 3rd, the other was Natalie and she would probably be the one to call. I asked if Natalie had a last name and she told me no. That's all I needed to know. My husband and I are remodeling a home and have purchased several items from this store. We have always received excellent service from the guys working in the back. I can't say the same for the person that answers their business or greets their customers. If she is the first impression of this store and the customer service that you will receive, I am sure they will miss many future customers. Me included. The only reason they are receiving a 1 star is because I don't have an option for Zero. read more

Great selection of materials! We did our cabinets through them and the quality was great. Customer service staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Will be contacting them for any and all projects in the future. read more

The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I had to in order to write this review. The staff is beyond rude! I must admit that I've been thru their doors twice (bad decision). But I figured on my first visit C.J. was just having a bad day so I went back again only to be treated less than anyone deserves. If it were considered a crime to treat people the way I was at this place they would be under the jail! I'm not one to write review but I think people should know how I was treated. So please consider this review before. read more

Bought our counter tops there, the customer service was good as was the selection was better than the local big box stores. I recommend.

I was born and raised in third-world country and this store takes me back to my homeland... believe me this is not a pleasant experience. These people never heard about customer service; rude and arrogant owners/employees. Oh well, 90k + that we are planning to spend on doors and cabinets next year will go to Surplus Watehouse. read more

I will never shop at this store again due to the attitude of one of their employees. This bigger guy with the ball cap and his arrogant, know it all , condescending and I could give a **** attitude. This was the second time I dealt with him and both times he was the same way. When I told him the cabinet had some damage he told us so what you got a good deal. And that that was the only one. This after he said there was no way it would fit into our vehicle and I told him it would and it did.with no problem. Then he brought out the toe kick for the cabinet that didn't match for which I paid for and said you have to stain it. Really I have to stain it. he said do what you want DUDE! I returned it and haven't seen the credit yet on my bank statement! I tell everyone don't shop here the deals aren't that good go to Home Depot or Lowes http://okaloosa.craigslist.org/mad/5462344266.html read more

I am so disappointed with this business. I've stopped by multiple times....bought a few items in the past and am always looking for home project materials. Today my visit was for a piece of remnant carpet for our dogs to sleep on in the garage. There was a section beside the cutter in the back of the store @ 2-1/2' wide. Just wadded up on the floor with dusty footprints on it. I went up front and asked to purchase the small remnant and was told the store would not sell it. I was told I had to buy a piece with a value of $180. Needless to say that didn't happen. Wouldn't it have been better to sell that remnant at the basic square footage price and at least make $50 ?? Shame on your staff! read more

I went to building materials outlet in Pensacola ,FL yesterday Saturday, November 10, 2018, I arrived there around 11:45 AM. I wanted to buy some composite boards that they have in stock. My friend bought larger number of them they were 11 feet and he told me that they cut his boards into two fives, I want there and from the minute I arrived , I was faced with a terrible customer service ,I brought with me are you a Uhaul covered trailer and one of their employees came to me with an unprofessional attitude asking me that I can't block the road you need to move on and then he pointed to a remote location asking me to pull there ,this make it very difficult to get out as I have a trailer. I went inside the store and I was planning to buy 12 foot composite boards but the quality of these boards were not good. I found 16 foot boards with good quality and reasonable price. I asked them if possible to cut these boards to 12 and 4 feet , One of the employees told me how many boards do you want I told him I need to close to 55 boards. He said I can't cut that many but I can cut a few of them. I went back to the reception desk ,there was a lady working there I spoke with her and she said the store policy is to cut the wood if needed. I asked if I can talk to the manager, the manager came three minutes later ,he stated that they do not cut any wood in the store. I told him that my friend bought some words and was able to cut it in the store, and I asked the receptionist lady and said you cut the wood, he stated and a very unprofessional way that sir we do not cut wood. I drove to pensacola from Mobile with a rental trailer, I was expecting to get what I'm looking for especially after confirming my order by the phone before I travel 60 miles. I was not expecting to be faced with such an unprofessional attitude. I don't believe this is because I have an accent ,I'm planning to leave a Feedback On this building material outlet as I believe that with the same effort they're doing they should be able to leave a better impression with their customers. read more

Great prices on products but the girl at the counter kinda ruined my feelings about this store. She is by far the rudest person I've ever dealt with as a customer and absolutely does not need to be working in the public because it's obvious she is extremely miserable. Put a friendly and helpful person in her place and it will be much improved! read more

Rudest people ever!!! Worst customer service ever!! Bought item that they had marked with wrong size on door. Would not take it back. Would not even give me name of manager. I rebuild homes for a living. They sure lost my business. Tell 5 friends that tell 5 friends. I give them about 1 year and they will be out of business. read more
