When install day finally came in August, the doors were the wrong size, and the delays just kept piling up. In October, I'd had enough, fired the big box store, and called Building Material Outlet. In just 10 days, our custom doors were ordered to our exact specifications and ready for pickup. Roger and the whole BMO team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and the timeline they gave us was spot on to the day. If you're renovating along the Emerald Coast, skip the runaround and go straight to BMO. We'll be back for our next project!

Then we visited Jansen Kitchen & Bath. They sent us to Triton Stone in Loxley Alabama. Triton is the wholesaler most of the stores in the area used. This place is huge. It's the size of a Walmart Super center and all it carries is stone. We found the stone that would compliment our kitchens. They called Jansen and we got our estimates. Richard, a master at stone, then came out and re measured our kitchens. He then took the stones and calculated where the cuts should be made so it would look seem less. Richard is a genius. His team then removed the old countertops and installed the new. The seems are invisible. So if you need new stone counter tops, this company is the only one to use!

This company promised to do a simulation of a built-in fireplace, however it looks like a complete…read moreafterthought. The work is not square, there are large gaps, has not been painted nor caulked, and fireplace is still not operable. The job began in January 2020. The last time anyone was at the site was June 2020, after repeated phone calls and inquiries. No one has returned to the work site since June. Jansen Kitchen and Bath has been paid in full for this job because of good faith handshake by contractor and the homeowner that they would return.

His depth of knowledge was very impressive. My wife provided him with some drawings. He dove right in and started showing us some 3D renderings, he worked on the computer, and while he was working on some designs, we could see it on a large flat panel. We would stop him, and ask questions, he would stop and give suggestions, or some ideas. I was impressed with the ability to see his work as it was taking place, very impressed. That was much nicer than someone just taking some info from us and then handing over a couple of 2D photos. Having this in 3D, makes it easier to envision the final product will look like. The even better part was the price. This was a much better price than some of the other price quotes. We have seen prices in the 25K range, and that was without the counter tops priced. She answered every question I had, made suggestions, and gave me a tour of their facility. She also provided me several brochures from places where I could go to look at the various stones I was considering. I took advantage of her suggestions and visited 2 stone yards. I met with her a little over a month later and again, she spent loads to time with me. Again, Jessica never made me feel rushed, answered questions and gave suggestions as to the stones that would be appropriate for my colors/uses. She gave me 2 samples to bring home to make sure my other half liked, along with a brochure with the Cambria stone we thought he would like (which he did).
