great selection of plants, sod, stone, rock and mulch. It's the landscapers "go to" place. Very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended to help with your outdoor projects. read more

Customer service was on point. Even the guys in the yard were very helpful. Selections weren't as good as a lot of other nurseries in the area but the place was very clean and easy to navigate. The plants all looked great and cared for. Purchased med sized rocks at a great price. Will be back again. read more

We purchased boulders from them. They have the best selection and price. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. read more

I really love the Seminole Pink Hibiscus. I purchased all they had last year but unfortunately I was out of town when the freeze happened & they all died. Anyway, no one has them, so I stopped in to inquire about them & the staff was so sweet to text me later on to tell me they could order them for me! Yay!!! Now i'm looking for banana trees :) Can not get enough of this lovely Nursery. The plants & service are both impeccable. Highest recommendations. read more

I like Wortners very much. They always have beautiful plants. The lady who works on the left side where the new plants are is very helpful and pleasant. I can recommend this business for your plants for the new season. read more

Workers has everything you need for landscape projects. They're willing to spend time answering questions about product availability via phone before making the trip in which is really helpful. I've bought sod for a few homes there and the process was easy. Staff is friendly. read more

Great staff. Very Helpful. Wide range of products. Worth a visit if u are upgrading ur outside area. Bill Brown

Customer service in the yard is Extremely poor. I waited 30 minutes to load mulch, trucks were coming in, and they were more concerned with loading and unloading those, meantime, as a paying customer, I refused to wait any longer and demanded my money back. read more

Amazing customer service and extremely helpful!! I had another local company cancel on me the day before they were supposed to deliver 6 pallets of sod and Woerner saved the day and got it to me SAME DAY! So grateful for their urgency to help and amazing service. Thank you so much again and I highly recommend Woerner Turf! So sorry to the two gentlemen that helped me out, I can't remember names but y'all were great! read more

Sub-par customer service (Pete). Called to speak to manager reference bad customer service (manager not there), left name and phone number and did not receive a callback. Grass received substandard. Person with whom I tried to call indicated that grass purchased should be purchased "later in April", my thought is, if grass is substandard and they know it then they should not sell the product. The company as a whole (this experience) has failed and until issues are resolved I remain unsatisfied. Update. Received call from Jeff, manager, who went on to explain centipede "looks like this this time of year". Asked for me to send pictures which I now have. Still not satisfied but apparently that's the way this will turn out. All I can say is "beware of their customer service and their product" read more

Sent a Facebook message asking if they had house plants. "We Have a full nursery!". Was their response. A couple days later I made the 30 minute drive only to find a few fiddle leaf figs and very sad succulents planted in animal cement shaped planters with no drainage directly in front of the store. Inside was a table full of orchids who had all lost their blooms and were on "sale" for $13. Upon leaving a very nice lady asked if she could help me. I asked her where I could find the rest of the house plants. She pointed to other side of the parking lot and informed me they didn't have a big selection due to Covid. Checking it out, they had a few Monstera deliciosa, Boston and asparagus ferns. Ya know, the same crap Walmart and Home Depot always have. I thought I was saving time by contacting them before I made the drive. Now I feel like they are a used car sales man, knowing that they only had junk, but were hoping I'd blow money if they could get me to come in. If they would have told me they were low on house plants I would have been happy to follow up every couple weeks until they got in a shipment. But because of them lying and wasting my time I will never be back. read more

We have spent literally thousands of dollars at Woener's over the last two year. Earlier this year, we bought a rock - (a 2000+ pound rock - roughly $600) - we had it delivered and the driver said he had other deliveries and couldn't take the pallets back. He advised putting them at the road and the city would pick it up. Well they won't .. Went to Woerner's looking to spend another couple hundred dollars and my husband talked to the person at the counter who said that the pallets weren't their responsibility. Well, guess who left without buying anything? Guess who won't be buying anything from there again - ever?? read more

They gave me a lot of help letting me know when certain trees and plants would be in. Also saved me a lot of money and informed me of their processes with sod. I will be back soon to likely purchase sod and definitely in a couple of months to get the trees and plants I want for my yard. read more

Best place to get premium dog products. Customer service can not be beat!! Auttie(forgive me if not spelled right) is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for clients because she herself is a client!! She has pets and wants the best for her dog so she is extremely compassionate to other pet parents! Did I mention knowledgeable? She knows her stuff, she keeps up with recent articles and recalls so don't hesitate to ask questions!! The store itself is beautiful!! Smells good and spacious unlike others I have seen!!! Great selection of plants and landscaping items too!! Keep up the great work Woerners!!! read more

The only place to go for turf! These guys are slammed constantly. People constantly complaining about the look of their sod etc. Well I will tell you, I have been in this business for a long time. If you buy centepede expect it to look like garbage when it's on the pallet. You could sneeze hard on centepede and it will turn brown. But woerner centepede has always greened up beautiful if properly cared for by the homeowner or business installed for. If you want better sod. Spend more money and get real turf. Zoysia or even St Augustine. If you don't want sod web worms in your sod make sure you don't buy sod and plan a job from July through September. These guys do the best they can in an industry that has so many millions of variables that could go wrong. But for them rarely ever do. They have never let me down. As far as management he is second to none. Pete- is the human horticulture handbook. Staff is courteous and helpful. And oh yeah they are human. So when you all post one star remember that they cant control the climate, how much you know about caring for turf, how much you are going to water your turf and for how long . Do you know how to identify disease? Bugs? Woerner is the only place to go to get sod and landscaping in our area. Second to none read more

They recently hired a dog groomer, and I could not be happier with her work! Cindy gave my schnoodle, Jackie, a great smooth haircut, nicely clipped nails, and a happy day. She wasn't the bundle of nerves she usually is when I pick her up from the groomer I used to use. Cindy will be our regular groomer from now on read more

Horrible customer service!!! I called prior to driving 30 mins to inquire about sod and was told on the phone absolutely come on in we have plenty. After getting there was told no we only have sod for customers who have ordered it. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself for not knowing what's going on at your own business! read more

One star is too generous. Extremely rude staff. Save yourself the trouble, aggravation and lack of customer service and do not shop there. DO NOT purchase dog food, or pet supplies. Hard to imagine, but they go out of their way to be as unaccommodating as possible. read more

Great selection of stone and rock. Seems to be a rarity in this area. Large pet food area. We also found the employees to be very helpful and polite. read more

The staff won't look you in the eye; you might ask for help. It's not the employees fault, the manager is rude and full of excuses. There is no sense of teamwork, they seem to hate their jobs at Woerner. I'm shocked to see the doors still open when I drive by. read more

Great selection! The pet section is an added bonus! The have displays set up of the products they offer so you can get some ideas on what your finished product will look like. Can't wait for spring when all of their plants and flowers are in stock and in bloom! read more

First turf delivery went off as planned with call prior to delivery. Driver courteous. Sod looked good. Next 2 pallets of Turf delivered on wrong day - Saturday afternoon. We were home watching TV all day, but no one called or came to the door although 2 cars were visible. Was supposed to call day of delivery which could have stopped incorrect delivery date. All sprinklers were clearly flagged with standard red flags, but you could see the tread marks going over them through the dirt and existing grass that was not being replaced. Checked the sprinklers which had all been checked by professional at Garvey Irrigation prior to this delivery and resulted in 2 broken sprinklers. Plenty of space to have placed pallets anywhere other than on the sprinklers or driving over them. Half pallet ordered was completely missing on 2nd delivery. After initially blaming contractor, Woerner agreed to redeliver sod. Called to confirm redelivery on the date redelivery was expected after no call by 1pm Becca we didn't want to miss them, but the person on phone was short and rude to my husband when he only asked if they were coming that day. Delivery occurred after 5:30 on date expected. Delivery driver was cursing so loud that I could hear him Inside my house and the neighbors kids could hear him. Apparently he was upset about the redelivery and was 'discussing' it with the contractor. St Augustine sod majority was yellow and obviously had been cut and left to sit somewhere day or two before the date of delivery. Called back to speak to the manager morning of next business day due to time of delivery, so far no call back. I'd be embarrassed to send out sod to a customer looking like this in a non-winter season. If manager responds, will update review & star rating accordingly. So far I am hearing recent negative experiences with this company from local lawn care and landscapers. This company has had a long standing in our community and had a pretty good reputation and we have used them years ago. Not sure what's happening here now, but for sod purchases, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more
