After leaving their place unhappy the owners wife did call me and offered to try to fix it again. I brought the mower back and this time it appears to be fixed. Doc is the nicest negative person! We enjoyed many conversations and his work was always the best!…read more I will warn you though, WATCH OUT FOR HIS WIFE. Doc had put my name on his Myrtle Grove list so he "wouldn't forget me over the next couple of weeks." My lawn is out of control and my riding mower needs a belt put back on! I guess I called one time too many for Kathy! She blatantly called me PESKY and Doc wouldn't be coming anymore! I'm 82 with probably a few less memory cells so I might have called that one time too many. As I once told Doc, "I always come last.......in life." I think she thought I was complaining about his schedule for me! I did tell Doc I'd pray for him because of HER. She's an unhappy soul!

My mower wouldn't start, so I asked them to simply get it running--not to address any other issues…read more They were unable to get it started, which I understand and don't fault them for. However, when I went to pick it up, they told me a new blade had been installed, which didn't make sense since that wasn't part of my request. Once home, I checked and the blade was clearly not new. I have no problem paying a fair fee for their time and effort, but I do take issue with being misled. Although they came highly recommended by a trusted friend, this experience left me disappointed and, unfortunately, I don't feel I can trust them.

The engine life on the Lowe's brand stuff is only 50 hours, compared to Echo or Stihl running you around 300-400 engine hours. You get what you pay for. I had a great experience at GBPE. They have a good selection of options, and Echo is top notch.

If you've ever had broken lawn equipment you know the drill. You bring it in to the shop, tell…read morethem that it's not working, they write up a "ticket" and you wait two weeks. It's a little different at this place. They do a little troubleshooting while you're there and if it's a simple fix they take care of it then and there. In my case it was so simple there was no charge. My next equipment purchase will be from these guys without a doubt.

AVOID. SCAMMERS. DAMAGED MY VEHICLE…read more Tech caused damage to my vehicle that forced me to sell it. Never had issues prior to having added work done at Carperter's Campers. Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. Do not trust this dealership. They will damage your property with no shame.

When I brought it back that afternoon for help in starting it, the man who had sold it to me was very unprofessional, with a complete lack of people skills. Where do they find these people? I hope I don't ever have to go back there again.
