My daughter had a severe UTI, and every time Dr. staff told me that urine result takes 7-10 days to come, but it was never the case, I checked the date of the sample, and the date of report it was within 1-2 days of the sample, and I understand the difference between immediate results VS culture starts developing after 24 hours. Because of their serious carelessness, my daughter's treatment was delayed, and her infection got worse, and she had to spend many days at the hospital. Also, the staff is rude, I had to call multiple times just to talk to the nurse and doctor, and the response time was even worse. It took them 1-2 days to call back, then 1 more day to give an appointment. Their front office lady is very rude and not even a nurse but was still giving me suggestions that it's okay to get a fever, It will go in 5-7 days no need to talk to the nurse, and when I pushed, then only she called the nurse. I had to call multiple times to even get the lab results of my daughter. Also, about the billing, it's never straightforward. I never received any receipt; their portal is worse, so please be vigilant about the billing too. I will never recommend Maruthi pediatrics.

I believe their Durham location is fairly new, and is part of this large building off NC 54 by the 40 Freeway (it's really easy to find). The staff is not only very friendly, but they were also helpful in getting my new little baby girl set up as a new patient. I am a new first-time mom (just over 2 weeks) and finding a pediatrician before was not necessarily easy. There are so many great choices! I noticed that Chapel Hill PA had a great website, great feedback from friends, and lots of good Yelp reviews for their Chapel Hill location. After giving birth at UNC, my little one and I got quickly set up at their Durham location and have had really pleasant visits since. We have seen Dr. Joe and Dr. Woodrum at the Durham location, and we loved them both - especially Dr. Woodrum! The doctors were both friendly, caring, helpful and attentive to my husband and I's questions and needs. Most of all, they take their time with each family they see. The pediatrics team does a great job of making new parents feel at ease and prepared for the new chapter of life that awaits them. I am so happy to have chosen Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents (Durham Location) for my newborn.

We've seen a few other pediatricians since moving, and nobody has ever compared to Dr. Cooley. She's warm, kind, understanding. She has the perfect temperament to be in the field that she's in. When we had our daughter, she made us feel better about not knowing what we were doing. She never made us feel stupid for the millions of obvious questions that we asked. She always answered with grace and kindness. I wish we could replicate her because she truly is one of a kind. I would recommend Dr. Cooley to anyone - especially to new parents. We could not get an appointment at first because she was booked so we went with Dr.Lily Harris at the Durlaleigh office. Both doctors are excellent and do a thorough exam. The front desk staff is excellent and the nurses make things a breeze. My daughter just had her 11 year old vaccines and it went smoothly. The only thing I would change is the parking. The parking is shared with all the other medical offices in this plaza making it a nightmare.
