"Please", "thank you", a smile and eye contact go a long way. A customer should never be treated like a nuisance in a customer service industry. I like shopping at Ace, but if I ever have such rude service again I will be hard pressed to go back. Additionally, I looked up the store and called this morning to ask about certain items being in stock. The lady I spoke with, I did not get her name, was rude when I mentioned that maps lists the store as "permanently closed". If this was my store I would want to know so I could fix the problem. She snapped at me, "there is nothing they can do" and promptly ended the call. No one at the store has ever been so rude before, I'm not sure what's going on now. Hopefully they turn this around.

Greedy owners who bought a company almost 2 million dollars in debt, then took a 5 million dollar loan to buy a house instead of making sure the business was running correctly. You want to know? Rude and untrained employees. I attempted to utilize the Lowe's color exchange program after buying…read morea gallon of paint that I didn't really care for after painting a 2' x 2' test square on the wall. The employee at the customer service desk didn't know how to do the exchange. She said she didn't know how to adjust the inventory either so would have to return the color I didn't want and then I could purchase the new color I wanted... which forces the customer to have the full amount of both purchases removed from their card for multiple days while the return processes. The customer service employee also didn't know how to put the return onto a gift card... so I was forced to return to my card and wait for the processing. Employees should be trained much better before they're left to run a department by themselves. The paint desk employee also made a snide comment after my return saying "We usually like people to keep their paint. We already have a lot of returns." ... snarky and rude. This happened on 5/24/26 around 8PM
