I was in Canada and couldn't travel. I was at the mercy of having right people to help me do the mitigation. Servpro Summit came as an angel. Especially Chafika and Evie who went above and beyond what was required from them to do. Their continuous communication, suggestions, explanation of the tasks kept me calm and informed. They even phoned and tried finding local area Servpro and other companies for the reconstruction job after the mitigation was complete. Their builder portal was also an excellent tool, which kept me abreast with photos and 3D images as to what is going on on my property on a daily basis while they were at work. The access to the portal, while I being so far away in Canada, helped me at least stay relieved. The only thing needs to improve is the onsite people communication with the owner of the property which lacked completely but was filled in by these two gorgeous women. However the images showed that the onsite people worked in a professional manner and took care of the property. I am very happy with the whole team. Thank you Servpro Summit for a Job well-done!

our water heater leaked significant water into a rental unit causing significant water damage. our…read moreinsurance agent recommended Servpro and I contracted with them (bad move). things started off well with the Servpro on-site rep explaining the procedure; he seemed very knowledgeable. but after that first meeting there was virtually no communication. they didn't even tell me when the remediation was complete, I only found out when I drove the 60 miles to check on their progress. while they did successfully dry out the unit, they; 1) left debris on the property, 2) did a very unprofessional job of removing wet drywall (making reconstruction more difficult and expensive), 3) did not remove the plumbing prior to tearing out the wet kitchen cabinet bases leaving parts of the cabinets hanging on the plumbing, 4) broke the cabinet facing (making reconstruction more expensive and not covered by insurance), and 5) broke the kitchen faucet (requiring replacement not covered by insurance). while I understand that mistakes happen, nobody at Servpro returned my phone calls and text messages, including to the branch manager, to discuss this damage. I understand that Servpro is a franchise organization and other franchises may have better customer service, but, based on my experience, I would not use this franchise again.
