Although it is at a Christian church, they welcome everyone for FREE! There is a HUGE multi-level play structure with climbing obstacles, crawling tubes, a cargo net bridge, tube slides, lookout observation windows, and more! The playground is cleverly decorated with douglas fir trees, a sun, and a 3-story tall mural! The large play structure is for ages 3-11. Another small structure and foam pads are for infants to 3 years. They also have foosball and air hockey tables. They even sell snacks! The bathroom is clean and there are step stools for the toilet and water fountains. Parents are not allowed on the play structure, but there are tables to sit and watch or visit with others. Shoes are not allowed and socks are required in most of the floor, so there's cubby holes to store them. It's all FREE and it looks like they have a donation box in case you want to help contribute to the maintenance and whatnot. I think it's all volunteers who attend the playground, so be nice and show your appreciation. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Walk-ins welcome

Here are my 8 year old's thoughts; he called it "a really fun place to make great slime" - you can make really cool textures of slime, including "cloud" -- the kid recommends "clear" and "butter" because they are the most stretchy and squishy of all the options - you can add smells and accessories - the employees are really nice and tell you what to do - it's satisfying when it's mixing because all the colors come together As a parent, I'll say this makes for one expensive playdate. At $30 a pop it adds up, and the hands-on time is maybe 20 or 25 minutes total. Still, every kid there was having a good time. And there are a lot of fun mix-ins so that everyone makes something unique and uber-personalized. And the slime is still top toy at home on day 2. You can make reservations ahead of time, but those seem loosey-goosey because walk-ins are also welcome any time.

SMH Very disappointing, went in as a family tried to use our 6 year olds gift card since the one in the Washington square mall has already closed shop... I've never seen patrons here, this place is NOT busy, weird way to run a business imo. Good luck

Combined with a surprisingly well executed menu (especially given the constraints of their small kitchen and nature as a small business!), Ticket to Play serves a remarkable dining experience. Attentive staff make the whole purchasing experience delightful - simply order your food, grab whatever you want from the cooler, and they'll track your tab. Just remember to close out before you go. With delicious sandwiches and their signature soups, Ticket to Play is a solid option for a casual lunch, and that's not really even the point! No, the big draw of the cafe is the board game library. Those Oregonian kids gotta have indoor places to play--it rains all the time! When I went in here I…read morethought, I wish we parents of young kids had a place like this back home. It rains so rarely where I live, it'd be a shame to be indoors all day. It'd be rad if they could open the roof on sunny warm days. Do I ask for too much? Imagine a really good indoor play structure. Like 3+ levels high! A small play area for tiny kids. Some video arcades and such. Some adult games like corn hole, shuffleboard table, darts, and such. A full restaurant and bar! A few cabana-type small rooms for parties or whatever. And it's not too loud!!! I was worried an indoor play area would be excruciatingly noisy, and not well ventilated. It seems like the space is big enough to suppress the kids' yelling, but not so big that the echoes impose. I guess the large space also helps keep the air from feeling stale, maybe they have added ventilation. The bathrooms are kinda small and I had to walk outside the main play area through the small lobby. The food is good, and they have a wide selection of beverages--including adult beverages! Free parking lot. The price is about what I'd expect for an indoor play structure, when we need to get out from the rain. PLUS there's all the other stuff. I guess the money I spend on food and beverage helps keep it open. I had fun cruising through the play structure with my 7yo and my 1-1/2yo. Some adults were conversing in groups, or alone engulfed in a book. If you have kids, go. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!
