A fun decor feature is their display of completed Playmobil sets on shelves around the perimeter of the north side of the store -- some of the sets our own grown offspring had as children. We found a few treasures to purchase, including a fun looking 1000 piece puzzle. The store staff were cordial and helpful, even if they were not going out of their way to greet everyone who came through the doors. One big plus for us, after walking around downtown Corvallis for a few hours, is they have public restrooms available! You have to ask for a key at the checkout counter, but the restrooms are very clean and well maintained; and for those with very small children, there are full-sized changing tables. We often find ourselves being sort of "restroom snobs" when it comes to shops and restaurants; but we find the condition of the bathroom is often an accurate indicator of the rest of the facility. Anyway, The Toy Factory is a wonderful little shop, and I highly recommend it.

It is getting towards the Holidays, and vintage Christmas decorations were out in force. There are treasures to be found, but vendors know their goods, and prices $$$ can reflect that. We found some amazing finds for our vintage Christmas collection, but there were definitely items out of reach that we just couldn't justify. Definitely worth a browse if you are a fan of vintage!

Collectables are priced in line with the Overstreet guide, but they can be a little optimistic on the grading, so margin hard. For being a store targeting the nerd culture, the store is also kid-friendly and a treat for youngsters as long as they are halfway respectful. The prices are very reasonable/fair on most items and you won't feel your wallet hurting too bad (as may be the case at other retailers and events of this scene) and the inventory is consistently fresh. They also buy and do credit for items you bring in too! Highly recommend if you are in the Eugene, Oregon area and need to get your geek on! Definitely a delight for the nerd and collectible community of Oregon.

They have a good range of stuff, from baby toys on up to stuff for older kids. Coloring books, blocks, toy cars, fidget-spinners, little guitars, and everything in between. It's a big store and nicely designed, so it's fun to walk around and check things out. Of course it's very kid friendly. Given the 5th St. Market location, you probably won't find any bargains.
