My grandchild had an awesome time. I think they need more organization for party members so that regular guests may shop

The most over priced stuffed animal your kid will ever own! Cute place... But obscenely expensive for a stuffed animal!

Your standard build a bear workshop. They have the latest bears and the store is always clean and the staff friendly.

The location is unexpected but works well for a camp space that specializes in chess and the owner is even a US Chess Federation certified tournament director. They were very welcoming to my little 6yo who went in knowing only the very, very basics of the game. I'm sure they would have been equally supportive if he knew nothing. During camp, coach Matthew paired them up and walked them through moves and gave ample opportunities for them to play the game at their level. Coach Matthew also worked individually with some kids. The kids had a break and got the chance to play with the giant chess set and an automated chess board (it's like Harry Potter magic!) They have weekday classes for different levels and tournaments. Plus, they also offer STEM camps and other classes. This is the type of place we need in Tucson.

In addition to core subject camps and classes, chess classes, chess camps and chess tournaments are held as well. All classes, camps and tournaments are held both in person and virtually with extremely flexible schedules. My children love Coy's Camps and Classes and they have attended both in-person and online classes. The owner, Molly Coy, is truly passionate about teaching, and her time and dedication to learning is obvious with each class she offers. I highly recommend Coy's Camps and Classes!

Unfortunately it will be my sons last year with the Scouts not because he doesn't enjoy it but because of the so called leadership of Dr. Robert's. Zero integrity, no moral values, and lies so often he doesn't even know the truth anymore. The only interaction I had with him he had a bullying demeanor and very condescending. He doesn't return phone calls or responds to emails. Obviously if running the scouts into the ground was the idea then Dr. Robert's is the answer.

We stopped by the Scout shop to gather a few supplies and found everything we needed. The lady was very helpful and friendly. The issues started as I was walking out of the shop. I saw a guy looking me up and down with an ugly look on his face, sticking out his little bird chest, and his high water pants so tight it was comical. As he walked into a different room I asked the front desk worker who that was. I was blown away to find out he was the Scout Executive Shanon Roberts. Literally the person in charge of running the show. It does explain our next experience because even with that happening we still sent my daughter to the camp. Unfortunate mistake because her stories when we picked her up were disheartening. The camp was poorly organized and ran. The lady in charge Katie always seemed stressed out and in disarray when it came to daily activities, meals, and overall organization of the camp. It was so bad my daughter is no longer interested in joining. She wasn't the only one she mentions talk around camp was overall boredom and being uninterested. I usually don't leave reviews but with my husband's family and my whole family all growing up in the Scouts it is astonishing how far they have dropped standards and something needs to be said. If my experience with Shanon is any indication of how the Scouting experience is right now it's obvious why they can't get kids to join.
