    People waiting forever!
    LaToya H.

It's ok that the store is busy. I get it but 2 have 7 employees staffed and only 1 person working the stuffing machine is wrong. There was a 30 minute wait outside the door then a 1hr wait inside. Seriously, someone else could have stuffed! Do better Build-A-Bear staff!

Extremely friendly staff and helpful. We enjoyed our trip here. Our first trip to this location. Definitely not our last.

I saw massive behavior improvement in him and I attribute that to the way Kendall runs the classes. The kids have a ton of fun but have to listen when it's listening time and Kendall treats them with a kind but no-nonsense attitude. I've seen him interact with kids of all abilities and truly everyone is welcome at MyGym. The facility itself is very clean with plenty of parking. I've never felt grimy after leaving like I have at some other kid centered places. The bathroom is always clean and hand sanitizer is encouraged to keep the kids healthy. Birthday parties are a STEAL. You get the whole facility for the kids to use unlike some of the trampoline parks. And Kendall leads them in games and has special moments for the birthday kid. I just sit back and watch my kid have a blast! He even hands out the cake/cupcakes/pizza (whatever you decide to bring). Probably the hidden gem in Fishers are the summer camps. It's a few hours of drop off camp and a snack is provided. You can pick and choose which days you want to attend and can save more by registering early. I like that we can occasionally have something for him to do but not have to commit to a full week if we don't want to. You'll be hard pressed to find a negative thing to say about Kendall and MyGym. It's such an awesome place!

Dasher's Light Show - One of the paths at Dasher's Light Show in Indy

It's located just to the east of AMC Castleton in a large section of the parking lot not being utilized due to the absence of one of the anchor stores. This is the first year for Dasher's Light Show in Indy. It also occurs in four other cities - Humble, Philadelphia, Orlando, and Newark. Prices start at $29.95 for a carload to $49.95 for a VIP deal that includes either a "no line" experience or a second time through on the same night. For $149.95, you can snag a season pass. The experiences includes nearly a million lights. It's preferred that you buy tickets in advance and that guarantees you admission at a certain time. The "show" takes around 20-30 minutes. It is possible, however, to show up and get tickets but you may have to wait. The lights are synced to music that you can pick up on a car radio station. The path itself is easy to follow as you sort of meander through the maze of lights. This is obviously meant to be a nighttime experience to get maximum benefits for the lights. Vehicle height limit is 12'. Essentially, normal cars, trucks, and vans can drive through. As a general rule, admission doesn't work for limos, trailers, buses, or other larger vehicles. It's a fairly tight space and I can definitely appreciate the limitations. It's very nicely choregraphed and fun, though there's little denying it's definitely more geared to families and kids. As I was driving through, I found it to be a very mid-range experience for someone like myself who is single. At times, I felt like I'd have been better driving through a nicely decorated neighborhood - though the addition of the music is a really cool touch. If you've been through the experience at the State Fairgrounds, this is fairly similar. So, if that worked for you then this would likely be an enjoyable experience. While $29.95 seems like a lot, it's really not bad when you consider it's for the whole family (again, for a single person it seemed a touch high). For those who are concerned about social distancing, this is a great way to experience lights. It's also possible to get some great photo ops. Overall, I can't say this completely clicked for me but I think it will be a much more enjoyable experience for families - especially those with children who will love all the lights. I would definitely go back with friends, though I doubt I'd feel the need to experience it again as a single adult.

The lights were well done and we enjoyed the music that was synched up. I thought the signage getting us to the entrance was easy to follow and the instructions by the greeters were as well. I was surprised at how long the show was even with it being just in a parking lot--there were lots of twists and turns in the route to make it last a good amount of time! This was a fun option in a good location as we were able to visit the mall after for some food and shopping. I think a cool addition to the show would be an opportunity to get out and take photos sometime during the show, perhaps an optional spot to park and get out near the exit.

On Saturdays, day passes are available to the public, which are $20 and allow you in-and-out access all day. This center is located on the grounds of Camp Belzer, tucked near Ft. Harrison State Park in Lawrence. You'll find lots of fun, family-friendly activities for all ages, including a ropes course, rock climbing and bouldering walls, indoor archery, a makerspace, robotics and technology, and lots more. The ropes course (SkyTrail Air Adventure Course) has 10 different obstacles all connected and suspended 9 feet in the air. Kids must be at least 42 inches tall to go on the course with an adult, and 48 inches or taller to go on the course alone. The ropes course is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Lange has two rock climbing walls. The main rock climbing wall features seven lanes for climbing, each lane with four paths to the top that increase in difficulty. The north tower rock wall, with three lanes and three options to get to the top, offers a view out into the camp from the windows. They also have a bouldering wall and bouldering cave. The bouldering cave allows kids to climb around and practice different rock climbing holds freely, but each climber must wear a helmet. Assistants stand by, ready to catch or help each kid. There's also a makerspace room, where kids can learn about and try out different technology, including robots and drones. Here, you can fly drones or make robots move on command using a tablet, make robots move along a path using special markers, and lots more. The room also includes space to try out 3D printing and laser-cutting, tinker with toys, and get hands on while learning about technology and science. Some of the activities change out weekly, and that includes some of the sports. When we visited, they had an indoor badminton court set up, but the week before, that area was designated for indoor archery. There was also a basketball shooting area, cornhole and velcro darts. Drop-ins are welcome at Lange Innovation Center, but the center can also be rented for groups, such as Scouts, clubs and schools. So, calling ahead and reserving a time is highly recommended.

It's clear that their passionate about the business and they've nurtured it very well. The play area is super clean, organized, and creative. There is SO MUCH for a child to enjoy, but I love that everything is spread out and there's also empty space so that it doesn't feel overwhelming (and it's possible to step aside for a quiet moment if your kid needs it). Their classes are amazing. They aren't cheap, so we were on fence, but we ultimately had to buy a class pass because our baby loved it so much. The teachers are so calm and happy, always sharing that they are a "yes" place, so if your kid wants to crawl away during an activity, you let them explore what they want. The classes are the perfect mix of structure and new activities and also flexibility to let you kid be independent and do what they want. Each week, they have new activities and configurations to teach your kid new skills, but paired with classic favorites like the parachute, bubbles, etc. We started with the monthly membership, which allows you to take one class a week (play, art, or music) and then go to as many open gyms as you want, which I believe they offer almost every day. The open gym times are for all ages, but the classes are age-specific and have direction, songs, activities, etc. Our son is smiling the whole time he's here and sleeps so well after. He basically made the choice for us that we're coming back. We weren't able to make it to many open gym times, so we switched from the membership to ten class pass which allows for flexibility. One of the best parts about going here for the parents is that there's an app where you can see which classes have spots available and sign up for those classes with a click of a button. Nap time is different all the time over here, so we love being able to join a class just minutes before leaving. There's also no contracts that you ever have to sign. They were totally fine with moving us from a member to a class pass and even when my friend had to cancel, they just cancelled for her then and there and didn't make a thing of it (like most gyms for adults do!). We're so thankful for the teachers here and for creating such a fun, heartwarming, and welcoming space. We've met so many adult friends here too because everyone's been so nice.

I used to go more when I was school-age, but I recently bought my one year old for a trial class. It was a good time and I enjoyed meeting some new parent friends and having a place for my baby to run around. It was a little more hands-off and a little less catered towards babies than other classes around town that we've tried and enjoyed. The teacher was super nice, but she kept looking at her phone to turn the music on/off, check what was next for the lesson, etc. I really try to not have my phone out around my baby and so I'd appreciate if they could just use a sound system or write notes on a post-it or something so that phones are out during a paid-for class experience. I understand that it's not usually a big deal but think that would help elevate the class. There was a lot of time to run around on our own, but my baby is too little for the bars, can't jump on the mats, and then there were only a few things to crawl on, so it could use with a few extra engaging activities too for younger ages. They did have a 'back hand spring' lesson that was cute/funny and my baby enjoyed rolling over the foam cylinder - LOL. So proud of that little nugget. The man at the front desk was nice and I liked that they had toys in the lobby for kids to play with after class. I also noticed a private room for parties and saw that they offer summer camps too. I can see my elementary-school age self loving coming here as a nice intro into gymnastics and would be happy to try it again when our son is a little older.

Syd, the door greeter with Jedi-level enthusiasm, and Solomon, the cashier who could probably talk a Sith into signing up for Insider points, guided us straight toward the 4x sets. And like good Padawans, we obeyed. We left with the Flower Bouquet (10345), the Pink Flower Bouquet (10342), the LEGO Space Shuttle Aircraft (10360), and the 747 Transport Plane. Nostalgia hit hard and our wallets didn't stand a chance. Somewhere in the distance, we heard the faint echo of "It's a trap," but our inner children were already doing victory laps. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly masters of their craft. Equal parts Jedi mentors and retail therapists. The whole experience was fantastic, even as we watched our adult restraint crumble into a pile of colorful bricks. The LEGO Store is proof that the Force is strong... and so is our inability to say no to childhood happiness. 10/10, would go broke again.
