Mike has always drawn a smile each and every time he approached me. That being said, leading up to…read morethem doing an incredible, complete, efficient, and dare I say cost effective repair to my property, my life had been pretty darn crappy. After moving into a house that had prior undisclosed damage and issues with flooding, I had dealt with a hurricane and several flooding seasons. Each time I about gave up and left the house to sit since it was literally flooded so bad and damaged so many possessions in the basement, all while trying to limit damage with sumps, shop vacs, tons of towels and hours not sleeping. Mike Passman and his crew had visited my house a few times before, during and after the work was done. Being that money was tight and we were very stressed out from flooding, a sit down with Mike made me feel quite a bit more comfortable. He was straightforward about everything. He not only included all material that would be used but provided information about what they would do, what was presently ailing me at the foundation level, and afterwards, providing assurance that although he anticipates all he could, he told us he stood behind all they do. To reiterate, if something popped up that wasn't expected he would communicate and work with us to make sure we didn't have to pay more than the quote was. After communicating with Mike a few times, the ball got rolling and although the scheduling was all up in the air due to the seasons and rain not wanting to work with us, Mike and his crew were very pleasant to work with and I enjoyed interacting with them and watching in amazement as they, *HAH* tore up my clay laden yard and put it all back together. But not before replacing and upgrading what was terracotta drainage and cheap useless gutter pipes. I enjoyed all the time they spent getting to the root of the issue, as there was even a huge hole that was below surface through the cinder block going into my basement. The equipment showed up one day and excavating took place with haste. Although I have a ton of oaks in the back, they somehow maneuvered around those and got down to the foundation and got to work making it right. Of note: the weather, as always, didn't want to cooperate with them so of course, they had to pause a little while the dirt got dry enough for the machinery to tread without making it a sloppy mess. I was very thankful for their consideration. Upon excavation, it was uncovered and discovered the previous owner had a drain "pipe" installed after immediately exiting the house, it transitioned into a length of "Orangeburg Pipe". I didn't make that up. Mike immediately knew what it was and Doug saw it and posited that it shouldn't have been there, it's stuff that was used during WW2!!! Par for course at my house. Well, the reason they saw this was it was in a weird place and it was leaking. After accidentally moving it a bit, they asked if I wanted to fix it, I agreed and told them if they could please do, since they had it all dug up anyways. There was a minimal fee and I had some of the necessary fittings, they had the pvc and had it fixed quite quickly, and dare I say Properly. This is of course above and beyond the previous inheritors of the house. They did an impeccable job and repair. Going out of the ways to make sure it was done right and quickly. Even when they met issue along the way they tackled each quickly and with enough experience between them it was another day on the job. I had an issue they were communicated with due to some of the weather again but not foundation related and they returned and promptly had that rectified. So be sure when you sign and pay, the sale doesn't end there: They take care of you WELL beyond the completion and if and when you DO work with them, you are friends for life!!!

He left my job half finished, have been giving me the run around for weeks. We just completed an exterior waterproofing project with Sealtech, and they did an outstanding job…read more We couldn't be happier with Dani and his crew. Our issue involved a basement leak that required exterior waterproofing along the foundation wall, and it was one of the most challenging projects I've ever seen. Due to the location of the leak, much of the work had to be done by hand. The team carefully excavated along the side of our house and managed to protect and work around our HVAC units without requiring them to be removed and reinstalled. This was important to us because it would have added a lot of cost and we would have been without heat in the house for days. They installed a drain line at the base of the foundation, backfilled with gravel, applied a waterproof membrane and dimple board, and ran underground drain lines to the backyard that also tied into our gutter system. They were extremely careful while trenching in the backyard, finding existing cable lines, irrigation lines, and other utilities without damaging anything. When the job was complete, they thoroughly cleaned the area and made sure we were completely satisfied with the results. Communication with Dani (the owner) was excellent throughout the entire process. Unlike another company we considered, he never tried to upsell us or recommend unnecessary work. Their price was very fair and there were no surprises with the final bill. We truly appreciate their professionalism and would absolutely call them first for any future waterproofing needs. Highly recommended!

I recently received a notice that a property I have in North Carolina had a…read more sinkhole that could potentially be a safety hazard and needed immediate repair. However, I live in California and had to rely on a company in another state! This of course caused me anxiety to try and handle dealing with a company so far away. But Mr. Dani Andino of Sealtech put my mind at ease and stood by what he said. After reviewing the project and giving me an estimate, he honored the original quote even though the hole had expanded due to recent rains. He and his crew members had to put in extra materials to complete the project, but I did not have to pay any more than his original quote. They did the work in an efficient and timely manner and each and every interaction with Mr. Andino was prompt, kind, and courteous. As a senior citizen, I especially appreciate his honesty and excellent service. If you are in need of any of the services that Sealtech Waterproofing provides, I highly recommend them for your project. carolina

After receiving a quote, taking pictures for 2 hours and paying our deposit, we waited 3 1/2 weeks for our scheduled concrete lifting repair. During the initial consultation, we were assured the repair would not be a problem. However, when the two technicians arrived, they spent about 15 minutes assessing the situation before leaving, stating they could not complete the job. What was even more frustrating was the lack of communication afterward. We spent the next 12 hours trying to reach someone at the local branch to discuss the issue and find a resolution for this much-needed repair. Despite repeatedly requesting a phone call, no one ever contacted us. Instead, all communication was handled through text messages. We were eventually informed that a waiver would be required, something that was never discussed during the consultation. At that point, we requested a full refund of our deposit. In all my years, I have never experienced such poor communication and customer service from a company. Based on our experience, I would encourage others to proceed with caution when considering Groundworks in Belmont, NC.

We went over everything that was to be done and verified all the locations around the house. Edwin and Taylor the other team members got to work right away. While Taylor and Edwin finished loading the truck I went over the job and viewed the photos and videos Jonathan had taken.
