I think for all of these lawn services, and there are a ton of them in this area, it comes down to personal service. You negotiate for a service and some people feel they don't get enough for their money, they end up either cancelling their current contract and going with someone new, badmouthing whomever they receive service through, or they say nothing. Unfortunately many who feel they have been shortchanged don't say anything while under contract but later put out bad reviews, online or word of mouth. In my case I was referred to Tailor Made Lawns from another of their customers for whom they gave great service. I signed a short-term contract, nine months, and in the beginning was underwhelmed. However, I let them know I was dissatisfied immediately and why and I received an immediate response and over the next two months they emailed, called, and stopped in to ensure my issues were corrected and that I was happy with their service. I was. They corrected the issue, and have since worked to wrangle in a few areas I was very concerned about and the lawn looks wonderful. Updated review: I asked for aeration and seeding, and the first attempt did not turn out well, so I contacted them to have the work redone. They have scheduled the work for later this week. I'll update this review with the result. Update: They came back out today as scheduled and did a great job aerating and seeding. We've had some rain, so the soft ground was perfect for core aeration. They have been prompt and responsive. the grass is getting greener, and the weeds are dying. there was one issue early on where I paid for 2 applications in one visit, but they only performed the spray application, and did not put down granules as billed. I called them, and they promptly sent someone out to inspect, and dispatched a truck for the second treatment. TailorMade Lawns has provided both mosquito control and lawn service (fertilizer weed control, etc) for the past couple of years. By far I have the best lawn on the street with minimal weeds and a lucious dark green color. The technicians are timely and knowledgeable and even had a doggy treat for my pooches. Mosquito control has been difficult with the warm weather and woods behind my house. If there are any problems with control (which has only happened once), one phone call to them and out they came. We have used Tailor Made for the past two sasons for mosquito spraying, and have just begun a third. I just love them! Their product is spectacular and very effective. Both of us are mosquito magnets...but now we have now problem in our yard. They call ahead two days before service so I can make sure to put my cats inside before they come. I've been very pleased with what Tailor Made Lawns has done with my yard. I live on two lots and I decided to only have them do the areas surrounding my house. You can tell a huge difference from the area they are maintaining from my second lot that is only being cut. I always have dogs around and they always make sure to call the day before. We just started our lawn treatment 3 months ago and I've already seen an amazing transformation in our lawn. Overall Tailor-made does a good job. Two areas I think could use some improvement are customer service and the process of over seeding. I have had to call in between service with some weeds needing taken care of and never got a response. I had them to over seed last fall and still have some bare spots. I will say that my lawn looks the best it ever has. read more

I would like to say that Joshua Underwood arrived at my home this morning and proceeded to preform his duties quietly and professionally. While he was here he also spot sprayed for weeds.
