I contacted this company because when I bought my home in 2012, they are who my realtor used for my inspection and this time I wanted to support a local business. So I have an older house. There were two little maybe 5-6 in old dry "termite trails" in my basement that the guy pointed out. I say "ok do they look active or what?" And at that moment the BS started. His response was "I try to stay away from that question because you never know what could happen. They could return"... really?! This is your profession. Your last name is hardy or Hayes (I can't remember) and you do this for a living but you can't say if something looks active or not?! Then he goes on the tell me that treatment would be $315. What really upset me about this is you try to support local and black but then they prey on you. I called and had another inspection done and the guy was like "really?! THIS is what they dinged you in?! You can clearly see they're old and not in use. I hate this industry and the inspectors sometimes. They're always trying to get over" that's what the man said almost verbatim. I understand that it's rough out here and you're trying to stay in business but don't try to prey on people. I don't do certain things for a profession but can tell you if things look old or abandoned most times. I will never use this company again nor will I recommend them. I'll actually advise against using them should I ever have to.
