It was a regular experience at Buffet Star. Staff is quick . Buffet was good, I really enjoyed the coconut chicken and the angel hair vegetable noodles. Place is busy and super packed. AC was not working well. They had some cute decor. I like the waterfall fountain and cherry blossom flower tables. Everything was about average. Checkout was easy.

The atmosphere here was a 10. Everyone was kind and upbeat. The food was very good and warm. I was very impressed with the dinner buffet. Please do yourself a favor and stop by if you haven't.

I always like going to Buffet star more then any of the other buffets around the area. They always have hot food where as most of the others are kind of cold. Wide variety of different thi gs to eat so there is something for everyone there. Service was very good with this visit as it is with most visits. The ambiance is very welcoming and clean and so is the areas where the food is. Will always go back to this buffet!

The staff were pleasant and kept up with taking plates quickly. So many buffet tables. 5 plus the Mongolian Grill and Sushi station. The Lo Mein and Mei Fun were very tasty. A tiny bit cold but that's to be expected at a buffet. They are constantly up keeping the tables , which is nice. They have a large salad and dessert selection. There is something for everyone; vegetarian , pescatarian and meat eaters. Excellent choice during lent if you're going to eat out. I was not a fan of the olives or the pickles, but that is just a flavor preference. The Eggrolls and Egg Foo Young were delicious. Highly recommend. Quality food and many options with affordable prices. We plan on going back again next week for the dinner buffet.

    Deeeeeeeelicious!

Good food, especially the Mongolian grill; however, the floor, counter tops and buffet areas were a little messy with dropped food.

Grab a bowl, fill it with whatever you want from the noodles, veggies, and meats. Then slide around to the mix-your-own sauce section, and scoop whatever combo of flavors you might want (use more than you think, don't skimp!). Hand it off to the grillmaster, they'll cook it all up real quickly, and off you go with screaming hot and fresh saute. We're partial to lots of garlic and ginger water, a little bit of Mongolian sauce, and the spicy herb, but all up to you! For the rest of the buffet, I mean, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet in a smallish town. A lot depends on how busy it happens to be, and how quickly the food in the chafing pans is turning over. If it's slow and stuff sits, meh. If it's busier and/or you pick from the items that are fresher, pretty decent. Seriously though, the Mongolian grill section alone is worth the price of admission.

This was fresh, plentiful and clean. There is a Mongolian grill, (which means you put all the fresh vegetables, meats and sauces into a bowl and they grill them up for you), a huge Chinese "typical" buffet with so many rice choices and if that's not enough a sushi chef serving up sushi. There was no way to try it all. The best part....The price was only $14.99 for lunch. Unbelievable!! This is going to be my go to spot if only for the Mongolian station alone. Do not run from this fabulous buffet. FYI... drinks are not included.

It's just very consistent and you always get what you're expecting no matter what. I can remember what I had day one and that same quality, service, and timeliness are all spot on to today. I don't know what they're doing to keep the quality and service this awesome but I hope they keep it up as it is also what keeps us coming. My Husband's Food Review : Beef Mongolian Noodles -- 4/5…read more The noodles are freshly made with every order, and you can literally watch the man through the glass forming them by hand from the dough. The noodles were tender with a nice, bouncy texture. The sauce had a good balance of salty and sweet, and the beef was tender and flavorful. Jalapeño Chicken Noodles -- 5/5 The jalapeño peppers added a great crunch and paired really well with the texture of the noodles. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was light enough to let all the flavors come through. Definitely a favorite! Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings -- 5/5 The wings were cooked to perfection--crispy, crunchy, and well coated with seasoning. The crispiness paired really well with the overall dish, and every bite had great flavor. Beef Pancakes -- 2/5 This was basically like a hand-held burger stuffed inside crispy dough. The onions added a nice flavor to the beef, and the chili oil on the table paired really well with it. However, I think it would have been much better if the beef had been mixed with a sweet soy sauce for a little more flavor and balance.

Warrior's Grill is located in the Renaissance Place Shopping Center located on N. Great Neck Rd…read more just a little north of Virginia Beach Blvd. With them being part of a shopping center, there was ample parking available here. My visit here was on March 25, 2024. It had been a while since I had been to a Mongolian BBQ place since DW's Mongolian closed during the pandemic. I have heard of the place in the past, but hadn't been in there. They are in the middle of the shopping center, and almost missed it at first. It wasn't busy when I came in, but it was at an off peak time. We were immediately greeted and got to a table. The server asked if we wanted any soups, but we declined. You also get some white rice at the table, but that is one thing I avoid since it can spike sugar levels. It was time to go up to the food picking area to have it cooked. I went with several vegetables, as well as white meat chicken and beef. There are several sauces to add as well, but I generally avoid the sugar water one. It is all you can eat when you dine in, so you can go up multiple times. Since we were able to go up multiple times, I was definitely full by the time I was done after three visits. They were quick for refills as needed and the clearing of used plates too. Overall, the service and food were good. I had no issues while there. One thing that I would have hoped for was to have seafood options like shrimp or scallops as well. The pricing is good for what you get here as I was here during the early dinner time. If you're looking for a place that has Mongolian BBQ, this is a solid place to come and check out.
