I have been searching for a good takeout hibachi place and this is exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted relatively cheap (this meal came in at about $12) and relatively plain rice which this was. My meal was delicious, they gave me so much food, and they were pretty fast after I ordered. I will be going back for sure!

Very good food, fast service, and large portions of food! The food was very fresh and delicious. We ordered hibachi chicken with yumi sauce and teriyaki chicken, not sure which one was which, but they were both excellent!

I'm always here. Fresh food. Quick service ! What more could you ask for? There is a casual dine-in option as well!

Oh my! This place is surprisingly good! I ordered the hibachi steak and chicken, and hibachi combination noodles. They are both exceptionally great similar to Beni Hana but take out. The rice was seasoned just right along with tender chicken breast. The noodles is legit and worth every penny. I pass this place everyday to work and had to finally try it. Also, the white yum yum sauce is delicious over both noodles and rice. Wow!

    Yes

Shrimp Terryaki was hot fresh large portions very good! Chicken Terriyaki chunks too big and dried out

Food is great however the online prices do not match the in store price so beware of that.

This was my fiancé and I's first time trying this place out. I had read the reviews and I thought we would give it a try since almost all of them are positive reviews. The place is cute and not the biggest but it is clean and nice. The cashier was nice and quick about business. The food is bomb!!! Oh my goodness. We found our new spot. We both got a hibachi entree. I got the scallops and he got the chicken/shrimp. The hibachi portions are nice because they're big! Overall for the price and quality of the food, it's great. We spent $27 for two big hibachi entrees and two sodas. Haven't tried anything else but We definitely will after this.

I read lots of reviews beforehand and knew that our food may take a little bit to get to us but we weren't bothered at all as each roll was obviously handmade and freshly prepared. The spicy tuna was particularly fresh, especially compared to the crunch-mixed mush you often get at other establishments. We ordered the volcano roll, Spencer roll, spicy tuna, and rainbow roll. In the pictures we had already each eaten a piece of spicy tuna. Our server was very attentive and nice, food was excellent. We will definitely be back.

I ordered the Kake Udon for me and two orders of steamed gyoza for my kiddo. I gotta say, I was surprised when the order arrived. The udon noodles were paper thin compared to what I'm used to. The fried tofu was so hard it was basically inedible, and the broth - well, it had little to no flavor. To top it off, my kiddo took a bite of one dumpling and then spit it out. This child DESTROYS dumplings, so I asked him what happened -- he said "who puts corn and carrots in a gyoza dumpling?!?" and I can't say I disagree with him. Pork and cabbage filling - duh! Overall, totally not our jam and we probably won't revisit it. I guess the reviews are based more on folks who haven't experienced true Japanese cooking? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure my Japanese host mother would have given it no stars.

I also snuck some bites of my husband's katsu-don and was a little jealous of how good it was. Next time I will get the katsu ramen bowl and have the best of both worlds. We also got sashimi and crab Rangoon for appetizers which everyone enjoyed. And my lychee ice tea was sooo good. Located right next to the Hampton Roads Coliseum, it's the perfect spot if you're in the area for an event. I went with two of my girls, and we had such a great time from start to finish. Our chef was so much fun -- exactly what you want from a hibachi experience. He kept us entertained the whole time, and the energy at the table just made the night even better. I ordered the filet with hibachi rice, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender, flavorful, and the rice was just as good as I remembered (honestly, that hibachi rice always hits ). It's mostly been hibachi dinners, but also mix in Happy Hour visits and last year, a visit for Newport News Restaurant Week. Let's see how this one turned out. Staff was busy and the waitress did take a minute to come to our table, but it really wasn't a rush on our day off. For my meal, I selected gyoza for appetizers and their stir-fried bento box with beef as the protein with hot spice. Everything that was cooked very well. The gyoza was full of flavor along with enough dipping sauce to help with each taste. The bento box was really good. Our waiters came out and took our orders and the chefs arrived. I sat on the outside, so each chef had to push their cart right up against the back of my chair with all the raw ingredients as they came in and out. The chef was nice enough and the food was very good. The steak was tender and the shrimp were very tasty. One very big turn off was cleaning the grill afterwards as we are eating. The chef poured the water on the grill and steam was just bathing our guests as they ate. The smell wasn't pleasant and it was just not good. I understand the need to clean it while hot but it wasn't a good memory. Between the two tables (16 people) we were there about an hour and a half, easily spending $1000. You could tell they wanted us out and began to put plates down on the grill and come back to the table every 30 seconds to awkwardly collect a spoon. It was dumb. Anyway, food was good, very expensive but not anything we need to do again soon.
