It pains me to write this review because I've been a BDubs fan my whole life, but this location needs a change primarily in the takeout department. I don't really place any blame on the workers themselves because it seems like a burnout issue, not a competence issue. Time after time, I order takeout from this location because it's the closest to me, and I'm left waiting 15-20 minutes after the longest estimated wait time for my order to be ready. And my order will often be overcooked and scantily sauced. The staff is nice as they can be under the conditions but are noticeably on edge from having to deal with disgruntled customers caused by a problem they just can't seem to solve. I don't know if they can't keep workers, or if they don't have the budget to hire more, but keeping this location running - to be blunt - appears to be the equivalent of propping up a corpse. I hope it doesn't get to the point of shutting down, but it may be the best option if they can't fix this years-long problem. read more

Had a group luncheon yesterday here. 10 people in total. Mind you, there were only 2 other patrons at the bar. For the life of me, I cannot understand how this place is open for business I never got my drink, after inquiring like 4 times. Mid meal finally got a water. Wrong entree brought out had to be returned. Waitress even admitted she "thought she put it in wrong"... if you thought it was wrong, wouldn't you fix it? One of my coworkers had some bottomless app thing, never got his second order. We were there for about 2 hours mind you. She managed to refill everyone's water one time, so KUDOS! If I was the owner, and your wait staff and bartender are willing to let customers wiling to order alcohol (your real profit) go without, id look for new employees. I actually think this kind of service and experience is sadly just the norm now for restaurants. People show up to get paid, they don't actually have any drive to do their job well. Tipping culture: they just expect a 25-30% tip for waddling over with your dishes. Pretty unreal! read more

We went for an early birthday for me today with my 2 sons, Daughter in law and granddaughter and had the BEST experience we have ever had. Mr Kyle was amazing! Bartender, waiter and everything else we needed!! He made sure to interact with even the granddaughter! Big change from our last experience which was a little chaotic. It was nice to come in, be seated, seen and heard without having to wait forever. We were enjoying the company too much we didn't even take pictures of our food but my oldest son and I got the Grilled chicken ceasar salads - we love!! And my other son, Daughter in law chose off the lunch value meals. BWWs menu has changed the last couple years and definitely made it more reasonable with great rewards if you sign up. We will definitely be choosing to go back during lunch hours to get Mr Kyle again! Kudos Sir! Excellent customer service! read more

Solid 3.5/5 star Sunday lunch thanks to friendly server, lots of TVs showing NFL football, and Pick 6 meal for 2 for $20. Fries, tots, 2 sodas, cheeseburger, and bone-in wings (+$5 upcharge). Dining room wasn't filthy but was definitely well-trafficked. Location in convenient part of town but not convenient to access/exit. read more

Service is really slow. Drinks came after the meal was done. Appetizers came at the very end!

I walked in for lunch no hostess. I waited a few minutes then asked the bartender if I could seat myself she said sure. I sat down waited awhile. The bartender ignored me and no one else ever came around. If you want the absolute worst service of your life than go here. read more

Great food. Terrible service. Never had to wait over 20 minutes for a beer. I would recommend going to the Princess Anne location.

I went to this Buffalo Wild Wings today and ordered 20 wings with a large fry and when I went to pay the girl that was helping me was having trouble with the gift card I was trying to use. She went to get her manager and he proceeded to tell me I had to redeem the gift card and then quickly walked away. Once I was ready to proceed with paying, nobody could locate the manager to finalize my purchase. My boyfriend and I waited for AT LEAST 25 minutes before they found him and were able to cash us out. Just to add to that, my fries were not with my order and then they proceeded to tell me "I did not order any fries"... when I CLEARLY said I would like a large fry as well. This was absolutely ridiculous and I wish they would've provided better service. read more

Waited an hour on a busy night just to be told randomly that they aren't seating anyone else for the rest of the night. Definitely not enough staff. They knew it was a big night from what the hostess said but they were clearly not prepared. It's now 10pm and nothing else is open. read more

Every visit to this location has been more disappointing than the last. After my last two dine-in experiences with poor service, I stopped eating inside altogether. I then tried ordering takeout, but the first time my food was cold. After giving it several months, I decided to try again--only to be let down once more. I ordered a 20-piece meal with a large fry and a kids' meal with boneless chicken and fries. Instead, I received two small fries and no large or kids' fry. The fries were dry, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, and the chicken was equally dry and tasted like it had been pre-fried and left sitting before sauce was added. For a location that isn't very old, this level of quality and consistency is disappointing. I'll be going back to the Princess Anne location instead. read more

Awful service waited to be checked out for 25 minutes with plates and trash at end of table. Other servers walked by and didn't ask if we needed anything either. Server no where to be found when needed. Wings not breaded and had barely any sauce on them. Brought food with no silverware, sauce, or napkins. Drink has been empty since I got my food. Will not be coming back. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings - Trash at end of table. I am a server as well and this is unacceptable. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Food was horrible and the drink I got from the bar a jack and coke was horrible the coke was flat both times and the food was cold and looks like it was cooked in dirty grease but the service was wonderful it was they fault eww read more

Service wasn't bad here but I just think we got lucky with a nice waiter. Food was same as any other Bdubs restaurant food. We had a set of silverware we had to send back and get a new set because of random brown squishy stuff on the forks. It seemed the silverware was not even washed because of all of the smears. We got new silverware that was clean and I was willing to forget it all. Once we got a drink refill with actual lipstick still on the cup we had to get up and leave. It really made us nauseous to think none of the dirty dishes were being washed, I can only imagine the corners they cut in the kitchen. I do not recommend this business out of safety for your health. I cannot believe they thought this would be okay. Absolutely disgusting read more

Buffalo Wild Wings - Lip stick on new drink - Chicken Wings Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Food quality was good, I got 15 traditional wings. You can choose 1 flavor per 5 wings, which seemed reasonable. They have probably 20 different sauce or rub flavors to choose from. The prices were on the high end though--I think my meal was $22, and that's without any side items or drinks. Our waiter was helpful and attentive--he helped describe some of the sauce flavors to help us narrow down our choices, but the speed of getting our food out from the kitchen was SLOW. We waited for probably close to 30 minutes for just two orders of hot wings (between our whole table)--and it wasn't even that busy. It was a Thursday evening around 6pm. The place was probably half full (if that). Seemed like a long time to wait--thankfully we weren't in any kind of rush. The waiter apologized for the food delay several times and again at the end, but it almost seemed like everyone else in the place was waiting for their food a while too. A couple next to us waited a very long time before I noticed their food arrive as well. Seems like they probably need some more efficient kitchen staff. They do have a lot of TVs mostly showing sports, which is cool. It would be a fun place to watch a game--if you aren't in a hurry. read more

Went today (Friday) for an afternoon lunch with a group of coworkers and the experience was a reminder why I avoid BWW. This location was below average, service was slow and disorganized. My wings were overcooked and dry, and my companions also agreed the food just wasn't good. I felt bad for the bartender as many of us had to walk up to her for simple things such as silverware.. I could tell she was perturbed glancing around for the servers as we were. Place was considerably empty for a Friday. Avoid this location.. read more

Came in to place a to go order. The amount of people already sitting there waiting to be greeted should have been the first red flag. But we placed an order anyways and watched as all the employees stood around and chatted because "the kitchen was backed up". Once I finally received my wings, I realized I was given only drums which I did not ask for. 0/10 do NOT recommend. read more

So my first and only visit - came in. There were more than 20 open tables. The host says 5 min. There were about two other parties waiting for tables. We wait. A party of 4 comes in a few minutes later - they get told the same thing and ask if they can sit at the bar. They head to the bar where they order drinks and sit for about two min and ask if the bartender if they can move to a table - within 2 minutes they are seated and someone is waiting on them. We wait ten more minutes watching employees stand around. We left. I will not be back. read more

We arrived at 7:15pm on Thursday night. The place was not even half full. We ordered and literally waited AN HOUR to get our food. We asked server what was taking so long and he smart ass responded that they had over 50 orders to complete including their to go orders. After the hour and a crying kid we finally got our food, well guess what? We were missing a CRISPY CHICKEN SALAD, server said it would be right out. Well 25 minutes passed and he never came back. Another server brought my salad. My family was done eating obviously so I ate on my own. ONE HOUR TWENTY FIVE MINUTES for one crispy chicken salad. Our server never apologized or offered any sort of discount for the super long wait. read more

Do not come here. You will simply waste your time. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon, not a busy time whatsoever, and was left waiting over 45 minutes before we decided to just leave and take our service somewhere else. They put us on a waitlist after waiting for around 10 minutes. They said it would be around a 15-20 minute wait and still have yet to receive a text on our drive to a new restaurant. I have no comment on the quality of the food, because we weren't afforded the opportunity and chances are you won't be able to eat either unless you're willing to wait for around an hour while watching the TikTok's the restaurant displays at the entrance which might help kill the time. In comparison to other Buffalo Wild Wings locations, it's in a solid shape with decent ambience for a chain restaurant and didn't appear to be too messy, but that doesn't excuse the fact this place simply can't function as a restaurant. It's rated this low for a reason. read more

Absolutely a shame this location sucks so bad now that the oceanfront location closed. Absolutely incompetent and unfriendly manager didn't want us to sit in our preferred booth. There was ONE other patron in the whole goddamn place. But apparently they have a "system" for waitress rotation. But not a system for any semblance of customer service. Food was fine, waitress was nice but overall we were basically ignored while staff sat around doing nothing. I suspect this location will be closing next. read more

Typical Bdubbs, but I will say this location is larger than others I have been to. Great for games. Getting to this location doesn't come with ease since it's on such a busy road. Stopped by for lunch around 2, so it wasn't busy at all...which is why I'm confused there was a 10+ minute wait to be seated. I stood there, looked around, even leaned on the podium while multiple employees were doing other things. Even funnier is that I wasn't acknowledged until my boyfriend came over and took at seat in the waiting area. Aside from that, the wings were their usual, not spectacular but they get the job done. My boyfriend ordered all flats and it was no problem. Our waitress was kind and serviced us well. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered a to go order an hour in advance and when I went to pick up my order they told me I had to wait another hour. After telling them I wanted my money back they magically brought out the food 5 minutes later and when I got home not only was I missing a whole meal, it was all freezing cold. read more

I almost never write a bad review, but I'm doing this one as a public service. I would advise avoiding this place. At 530 on a Friday, they were easily 80% empty, which should have been a warning. The host seemed confused, and after a mumbled explanation, I waited over five minutes to be seated. When ordering, we were then told the grill was not working, so much of the menu was unavailable. Our 9 year old was disappointed at being able to get a burger, but was OK settling for Mac and cheese. A few minutes later, we were told that mac and cheese was unavailable because it was still frozen. At that point, we had the wisdom to leave and go elsewhere. This was all probably a lucky break, as I don't think I'd want to eat anything that comes out of a kitchen this poorly managed. I should have checked Yelp first, my experience does not seem to be unique... read more

Dear Buffalo Wild Wings, During these trying times you provide a much needed service for your customers. Your customers insure you remain thriving and delivery drivers close the distance between you and customer. I as a delivery driver am very adamant about contacting the customer to let them know that their meal will arrive late, something I can do to help. Think of it as an ecosystem where we all help each out, but when you disregard your delivery drivers and treat them as second rate you start to degrade this delicate ecosystem. I have taken 8 delivery from this establishment and it has been by far the worst due the poor hospitality of the hostess or the quick temper of management. I have been delayed by 40 min 7 out of the 8 times I have picked up orders from you. This means I have waited on your establishment just under 5 hours, 5 hours customer waited, 5 hours other customers are waiting because they are in queue or 5 hours I missed excepting additional orders. However, we must move forward and learn from our mistakes to improve the process. Right?!..wrong! let me give you some insight to the wonderful text I received from you. After the hostess kicked me out because I was checking on an order. I would love to avoid your establishment, but I am working for the customer just like you are and if we can't help each other then the customer is the only one losing. Sincerely, Delivery Driver read more

I much prefer The Dirty Buffalo (yes, sorry BWW, but they are the premier HR area wings place) but there was an event to fundraise for an organization from work. They had $3 Tall PBR's, so why not. Not a bad portion of beer for the money. I can't really evaluate the restaurant since it was still under COVID measures, but the food came out hot and very fresh. The curds were delicious and HIGHLY recommended. The fried pickles were normal and the wings were good. Overall a good experience, just the run of the mill BWW. read more

Don't waste your time at this location. Racist servers, and EVERY TIME we have gone in they have some excuse as to why they can't accommodate. We have tried to give them benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. Everyone in food service struggles. They were not busy enough to have those excuses. They advertise as being a "sports bar" where people can come in and watch the game. NBA season started tonight and we couldn't get anyone to turn on the game. 30+screens and not one had the game. Then the server had the nerve to say we are "short staffed" and "I don't know how" so we paid our tab and left. Just carelessness- Not to mention there were flies all around the bar area and the restaurant itself was dirty. Don't waste your time at this location. We went to Yard House across the street and were extremely pleased. read more

The food is 'meh' but the real problem is the service. It started with a 10 person line at the front door for a virtually empty restaurant. The drink order took three tries and we had to ask three servers before we finally got menus. I can see there are a few employees working hard, but afyer three visits to the BWW, I've yet to get on at my table. All said and done...it filled a hole, but they need to keep working on their game at this location. read more

Last night Husband and I went on a mini date night to watch the UFC fight (I know, super romantic). I have never been so annoyed by service at a Buffalo Wild Wings as I was at this location on independence near town center. We picked it because it was close to home and we hoped -not as crowded as some of the hole in the wall places that usually show the fight. Initially, we walked into a full waiting area and the hostess told us it would be a wait. Yet, looking around there were at least 7 open tables within view of the front door. We waited until someone else finally told the hostess it was ok to seat these tables. The hostess waved us over without menus to a high top in the corner. The only saving grace was our waitress who looked tired and "over it" but tried to help us as best she could with the limited resources she had. The one bartender in the well was desperately trying to service the entire packed restaurant on a fight night. I felt so bad for her. The food was ok - nothing really interesting on the menu. Out of curiosity and because I'm a die hard yelper, I pull up their reviews. No surprise that the last 10 reviews of record are 2 stars or less, so clearly this wasn't an "off night". I guess this review will be their 11th! Well, we had fun despite all this. It was just crazy considering this is a chain restaurant that the standards aren't higher. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I had a very horrible experience with this location. I got four items and one of them wasn't delivered. Along with my meal, missing fries. My caramel cheesecake, missing caramel. When the manager got on the phone all he did was give a refund. Waste of time and money. read more

I mean, it's almost comical how BAD this BWW is run. Where to begin.... The servers are sloppily dressed....slow....absolutely no sense of urgency (with anything). Went in there last night for Sunday Night Football. Wasn't terribly busy, but the bar was in shambles. Garbage all over the floor, several seats hadn't been bussed. I was there for an hour and a half, and still nothing was bussed. Long stretches where no one was even behind the bar. Food was incredibly subpar. I ordered the nachos, and while they came out quickly, everything was cold. Cheese wasn't even melted. Cold chicken. Definitely not worth $13. There are way better B-Dubs locations.
