Favorites here are the parmesan garlic and lemon pepper which are quite nice. Salt and Vinegar was pretty good too. They reheat well in the oven. Beware of the General Manager Carl Matlock is a very angry person. We have eaten at this establishment for over a year. We have basically the same meal every time, we know how it should look, and taste. I will not bother you with the details of the order, except to state that we enjoy the buffalo chips, their version of fries, extra crispy. When that is done properly they come out a very golden brown, with some of them having puffed up from extra steam inside during the cooking process. We informed the server who had made mistakes at every possible opportunity, that we wanted them cooked correctly. I asked her to have the manager bring the undercooked food back with him. He decided to not do that, he did return some time later with properly cooked food. I did start to inform him of the errors with the rest of our food, he postured very aggressively, including bending down to put his face in mine as he loudly stated he has been doing this for 45 years and we just need to take his word for it. This was a very menacing posture, which was followed up with more acts of aggression. We decided to pay for the food we did not finish eating and leave, as I don't have the ability to remain calm in that type of situation very well. I chose to leave instead of answering his aggression. I would have typically raves about the good service at this location. However, after seeing the way the General Manager aggressivley verbally attacks his customers I will not be able to return to this location. I feel generous giving this 2 stars. When We went in the waitress put us at a booth with trash scattered everywhere. The staff there obviously don't know how to clean up. The food is nothing special it is okay but nothing great. There are like tons of TVs if but i would still Really would try to find somewhere else to go. There is a b and d burger place across from it I would definitely go there. They probably have better food and not as junky. I saw lots of TVs in there passing by. Let me start off by saying it was three of us tonight. We walked up and of course we had to wait 15 minutes before we got seated. When it was our time to get seating it was 7:15. The host that night had blonde curly hair and kind of chubby. She put use at table number 87. Which the waitress was Canadian and French. She took our drink order. It took 5 minutes to get of drinks. Once she brought our drinks she took our order. Now mind you we got seated at 7:15. The lady did not come back and check up on use until 30 minutes later. Our drinks needed to be filled back up. Did she do that nope she did not. There was a couple and there son that got there food before we did. And they came in after we did. Also the table in front of us got there food before we did. Which was crazy to me. Since we didn't know where our witness was I asked the host on duty to get us the manager. At that time it was 8:55. We had a movie to attend at 9:15. We got our food at 9:05. After I ask for the manager. So we didn't even get a change to eat our food because we had to attend the movies. Here comes 9:10 and guess what no manager still. So the host walk back by and I said the manager still did not come and she said I told him but I can tell him again and I said no because we had a movie to attend to. If they had new opening jitters before all have been worked out now. I actually didn't want to come here based on the reviews, but am learning that Pooler GA reviews can be kind of harsh. We came in on a Friday night around 9:30 to learn that happy hour started at 10. We ordered mozzarella sticks and decided what we wanted to eat before ordering our happy hour drinks. Because we were curious about the sauces the waitress sent over a dedicated person who helped us try the sauces. He asked what we liked and based off that he brought out 5 sauces for us to try with complimentary fries. We ended up picked the honey bbq and garlic Parmesan. My husband ordered the traditional wings with the honey bbq sauce and I ordered the breaded chicken tenders with a side of the honey bbq and the garlic parm sauce with fries. Once 10 rolled around we got the happy hour menu and despite being slightly disappointed to see our mozzarella sticks now being $4, I was able to order a double Captain for $5. The "sauce" guy came back and let us try several "local" beers as we had requested explaining each of them in detail. The craft beer my husband picked came in a large glass and because of the special prices was only $5. Our food arrived shortly after our drinks and was hot and delicious. My husband could not give enough kudos to the wings saying they were hit with the perfect amount of sauce. My chicken tenders were hot as well and tasted great with the 2 sauces. The only complaint is I thought the fries tasted a little stale. We still ate them, so obviously not that bad. We cannot give enough credit to our awesome waitress Nancy and the "sauce" guy Marc who gave us not only great recommendations on sauce and beer but also where else to try out while in town. The manager agreed to take them off our check but didn't seem very concerned about the several hairs in my food. Great wings but I would refrain from ordering anything else. Since this is a new location, I don't think they understand the menu themselves. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap but instead of a wrap we got a burger. I guess the staff needs a little more training but I am glad they opened this location in Pooler otherwise we had to drive all the way near downtown. If you are not sure about how a sauce taste like, you can always ask them for samples. They will let you sample sauces with a few pieces of fries. This makes ordering different sauces easy. Every time I've been to this location since it's opened a few weeks ago (it's gotta be about 5 times I've been here) the service has been fantastic. The servers are wonderful, the captains make us really feel like we're cared for, and the food is always so so soooooo good. I make it my mission to try every sauce they have! My favorite is the Asian Zing, but I'm a sucker for the sweet hear. Too many TVs to count, but that's a good thing. You're guaranteed to be able to watch what you want to. Our server Stephanie was great! Very sociable and friendly and gave us a great experience for the most part. However I ordered spicy garlic chicken tacos and my boyfriend ordered habanero mango tacos and when they arrived neither of them had pico de gallo on them, my tacos didn't even have the sauce on them. I asked our server about them and she claimed they did have the sauce already which I already knew they did not. It was a plain chicken taco with lettuce and cheese. I really do not care, I am a server and also a line cook. I just think a little more attention to detail and honesty would be a great trait for the employees to embrace as it will boost their work ethic and the reputation for this place. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We checked in and were seated at 7 pm. Nobody came to our table to take a drink order for about 20 minutes. We simply ordered waters and sodas. Another 20 minutes went by and half of the 6 of us got our drinks. Lyle finally came back to take our orders and brought the rest of the drinks. We waited 90 MORE minutes before seeing him again and we asked for refills, which he finally brought another 20 minutes later. He brought half of our food out around 8:30 but never did bring the rest out. I asked for a manager. She finally showed up and I calmly explained the situation, she said she saw our food sitting in the window for some time now and said "I'll be right back in a sec, I'll get your food." One meal came out- lame buffalitos that obviously had been sitting in the window for too long. My lettuce was dried up and hot, the soft tortillas were hard and dry and my blue cheese was hot and had a hard film over it. Food only gets like that when it's been sitting way too long in a warmer. We still never got the rest of our food and after waiting 20 min. for the "I'll be back in a sec" manager, we left. This entire process took 2 hours and 20 minutes. Not only is this timeframe completely unacceptable even on a busy night, it's a health hazard to let cold dressings sit under a warmer like this. We weren't the only ones who called the manager to the table- the people next to us with a different server did the same thing and another table I noticed had a real issue getting Lyle to bring them their drinks and food. To start will start with the appetizer. the mozzarella sticks had salsa mixed with the marinara which gave it a very strange flavor and we couldn't figure it out until near the end of the marinara when we found the vegetables with the salsa underneath it. Second the spinach dip they were plenty of warm pita chips to go with it and vegetables excellent however there was about 3/4 of a cup of spinach dip to go with all of those vegetables and pita chips off for $8 oh and back to the mozzarella sticks six of them for $7. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I will go to the wings that we shared the Parmesan garlic or dry very little sauce and the honey barbecue were even worse it was almost like a thick paste and not a sauce!!!
