BEWARE of eating any food here! I ended up with food poisoning the first year it opened and I never went back to eat. My friend needed up ordering food this week and she got sooo sick. I wish I would've posted this review sooner. I also, let an employee that works there and she said she would never eat here after, working for five years. I can't believe it's still open! Yuck! read more

Would not recommend, horrible experience. Waited over 45 minutes for an order of 30 wings we never received before we decided to leave. Waiter continuously told us he would check on the wings and that they'd be out shortly. Was frustrating to watch people who sat down 15 minutes ago get all their food while we continued to wait. read more

I love wings and I am very disappointed with this visit. I called in my order because the app wasn't working. It was a to go order and when I got home I realized that they didn't make my wings extra wet like I asked and they were not crispy like usual. I attached an image because this one in particular was basically raw. I guess it could have been the cook that was on duty today. I'm so disappointed and grossed out :( read more

Staff is very inattentive constantly had to flag them down to get service. Drinks were empty never offered a refill had to ask for refill. Ordered extra crispy wings best they had was Luke warm chicken. The place had a weird musky smell in the dining area. Definitely one of the worst ones I've visited would not recommend nor will I be returning. read more

I've been going to bww for awhile now. That's over I just had the worst wings I've ever had nothing but hard chucks of breaded junk , what chicken. The service has gone down hill so bad. The server messed up our order twice and was being a smart ass with us. No silverware or napkins were given to us. The atmosphere felt so rushed and unorganized and it wasn't even busy. read more

Wings are so-so, small and $2.69 a wing is outrageous!!!!! The beer is expensive too!!!! Wing stop is a way better option!!! The only thing they have is the TV's and outrageously priced beer!!!! Service is great now fast and efficient I stop coming here for a while but now I'm back

My husband and I go to this Buffalo weekly. Some of the servers are not great, but since we always go around the same time, we get two different women servers who have great customer service. The food comes hot and it's yummy. read more

Went today to celebrate a coworkers birthday and the service sucked. They took forever with our food they forgot to bring someone a shot of alcohol and they lagged. It took forever for them to bring a slice a cake for her birthday and the shot of fireball...I ordered a 6 piece mango habenaro wings and a chicken ceaser salad. My wings were fine. And my chicken ceaser salad was soggy as hell and the piece of chicken was really small. Alot of my other coworkers were disappointed in the service as well..I think our service should of been on point especially when there were 2 servers handling out party and our party wasn't that big read more

I love Trivia. I have been to this Buffalo Wild Wings several times. The service generally sucks except for 1 amazing bartender. AMY. Amy is funny, attentive, bright, and provides great customer service. Amy should be the employee trainer. I am a big fan of Buzztime (NTN) TRIVIA. I like Wing Tuesdays. My favorite wings are Honey BBQ. Boneless Thursday are OK. _____________________________________________________ Do you know how many times I have asked the variety of servers I have encountered ..... "Is there a side salad I could order? I continue to be redirected to the $9+ salads. Damn it people, if you want to encourage a regular clientele, you need to offer bargain fare. Right??? So...here is how I met Amy..... I think my bartender's name was Brian. I asked for the phantom side salad. She chimes in yeah...we have that. BIG SMILES. (I knew you did. Every restaurant has a side salad.) So they talk. Brian plugs in the order. Puts the updated bill in the old fashion glass and in time I receive a salad. 'Wow, I thought, This is pretty big for a side salad.' I put the dressing on, mix it up, and take a few bites. I look at the bill and what did he do???? Yep, you guessed it...Like all of his predecessors (I had been here about 8 times) he charged me for and delivered a garden salad ($8ish). When I mentioned I ordered the side salad he retorted with well you might as well just eat it now, it doesn't make sense to bring it back . I will adjust the price. Dude, I am not your friend. I am the customer. Your manner needs an update. You and previous servers are the reason for the mediocre review. Come on, REALLY? He also wasn't attentive to my empty drink. He would help NEW walk ups prior to helping me. I tried asking twice to no avail, so here is the tactic that worked: On the bottom of the receipt there is a survey. I simply picked up my receipt, grabbed my smart phone, continuously looked at Brian and began inputting the website. Suddenly, he was ready to refill my drink. Come on, REALLY? So Buffalo Wild Wings, here is my advice: **Promote customer service and kindness. It's a good thing. **Add some non fried items to your HH menu. Many of us our watching our figure/physique. **When I order on the patio (about 5 times) the food deliverers often stop by to ask me if I ordered something. It's really a disaster ......your system. No one ever gets it right the first time. Why have food deliverers? **PRINT OUT YOUR Happy Hour Menu. I just learned today, word of mouth, that both Stoli & Captain Morgan are on HH. **SO DAMN LOUD!! Here is What is GREAT about your restaurant: **Trivia **Amy **Captain Morgan drink specials **Tuesday & Thursday Wing Specials **Side Salad **Amy (I repeated her name on purpose) ;-D **Pretzel on the HH menu **The spicy wing challenge. Eat a dozen wings in 6? minutes and they are free. My husband says he's going to do this some day. _________________________________________________________ I went again today. Lupe was at the bar. Amy had the day off. I rate Lupe as a B-. Pretty good. attentive...yet not communicative. I waited a bit for my Splenda. When I asked another bartender if I could get some Splenda, as I thought Lupe forgot, James said they were waiting for it. **Shouldn't you have that stocked??? _________________________________________________________ I am only going to this bar/restaurant when Amy is working. She IS the only GREAT EMPLOYEE! read more

Pretty busy as most Buffalo Wild Wings are, but the service was still great. Stopped by with a couple friends after pulling into port here and didn't have long. Understand our hurry the waitress was always nearby and even had our to go order out in when she realized we were almost done eating. Everything was quite smooth! The last time I came to Buffalo wild wings. I had ordered boneless wings, and they gave me pieces of crumbs as chicken, and I did not appreciate that. When I asked for different ones, the waiter gave me an attitude. I didn't mean for any harm or complications, but I feel like the situation could've been held differently. read more

Food is ok and the waiters are very friendly but it's so understaffed that the place is pretty dirty and we did have to wait a long time even tho it was 11pm when we went in. They had the waiter doing EVERYTHING poor guy didn't even have a moment to himself to breathe if he wanted to. This didn't stop him from being attentive but made wait times longer. He was very kind and apologetic. Business standards are what made me give a low review. If I were in his position I'd quit. No way you're making me do a 3-4 man job for the pay of 1. He was really nice can't remember his name as it's been a few weeks. read more

Went yesterday for some wings after spending the day at the beach with my dog, when I got to the restaurant they were so nice and let us sit outside despite the patio not being open at the time. The service was amazing during my meal the waitress came out and brought unseasoned chicken out for my dog which was so kind since we did not ask for or it or expect anything to happen. Would definitely come back to this location read more

My first time at Buffalo Wild Wings and it's definitely a place Oxnard has been lacking. I came here with my best friend Gil and we only waited about 15 minutes to get seated, which was great because I heard people have waited at least 1+ hours to get seated. We had an awesome server Sarah who always checked on us and even let us have seasoned potato wedges as a substitute for the out of stock onion rings when we ordered the sampler platter as an appetizer. We had drinks such as the Bahama Mama and Strawberry Dacquiri which were delicious and not too crazy alcoholic. For wings, we ordered the 18 pack divided in 3 flavors: Honey BBQ, Caribbean Jerk and Parmesan Garlic. All were tasty, especially Caribbean Jerk. The total was $60 for 2 people which is pretty pricey for wings, sampler and drinks but it was well worth it for a first time visit and I'd come again :) read more

Where the management can't coordinate the kitchen and send out the food piece mail. All other restaurants can send it at once, why can't BBW. The precise reason we would rather order Wingstop or to go. read more

I hate posting negative reviews and only do if I think it's necessary. This is one of the cases. In the restaurant, there is absolutely minimal communication among the employees- they all tell you something different and you end up waiting at least 20mins. The food has always been mediocre compared to the Simi Valley location. Lukewarm food and errors on the orders are regular occurrences. Lastly, about their takeout. There has not been one occasion where I was not on hold for at least 15 minutes. This last time, the call dropped after 17 minutes on hold, and when I called back and told them the call was dropped very politely, the employee rudely told me "Well sir, acting like an asshole isn't making me want to take your order any more than others." I was so taken aback. This occurred on July 26 2020 at 8:28PM. I really want to enjoy this restaurant. But the employees and quality of food do now allow this. Who is the manager or owner here? Do you not see all of this feedback? What a terrible business. Do something about it for goodness sake. read more

Alysssa has amazing customer service !! Food was hot when received . It was a busy night as well

I am in the worst predicament here:/ I've been waiting for an hour and a half for food. The server came back an hour later asking for our order again because the "kitchen" was taking too long. Our sever Catherine was nice, but I'm uncertain if she even put our order in. Thankfully Joe the manager came and took care of our round of beers we had while we were waiting for the food. Unfortunately we did not eat there because the service left such a bad taste in our mouth:/ I hope none of you ever have to experience this. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. By far the WORST service I've ever had. Went to all you can eat boneless wings and during the 2 hours at the table received a grand total of 15 wings. Waited 35 minutes for a drink refill... TERRIBLE. read more

Ordered for the first time. Arrived 30 minutes later to see a crowd all standing around outside, no social distancing, 1/3 without masks. So we pulled into one of the only three parking spots that offers curbside service. First we texted to say we were here, in what spot and in what car. No response. Then we call the number. "Can you hold please? "Never came back on the line. So then we texted again. And got no response. Then we called again "can you hold please? "This time after about seven minutes they came back we asked for our food. Another 15 minutes. Nothing. We call a THIRD time. Another 10, and our food comes out. Nothing special. Wing Stop is better, all the way around. read more

I Was craving wings after being on lockdown from COVID-19. Placed an order for pickup for the Thursday special: BOGO boneless and a fried/traditional bundle. Online receipt said the food would be ready in 20 minutes. I asked for extra seasoning on the wings and when I opened my food, the fries were cold, wings were cold and did not have extra seasoning. Food tasted old and was not pleasant. Wasted my money trying to give this place another shot. BWW in Oxnard will always be known for crappy service, waiters clueless on how to waiter and managers who don't seem to care about this corporate chains reputation. read more

WORST SERVICE. I never leave bad reviews, but there's absolutely no excuse for the type of customer service here. The staff never greets you and it's like you literally need to do the first step everytime and say hi to them and request service. It's been like this even before Covid. I literally had to ask an employee 3 times if we could have our order taken and they kept telling me our server was on our way. That took another 15 minutes. Then they got our order wrong and gave us one of the spiciest wings they had when we had ordered a mild flavor. Seriously, how do you mess something like that up?? Next time you're craving wings in the area, go across the street to Wing Stop instead. Much better quality and service there. read more

Went just before 5pm for the buy one get one free traditional wings and it wasn't busy. I was seated right away and got my wings pretty fast after ordering. I order lemon pepper and original Buffalo. The lemon pepper is one of their best sauces, def recommend. Sometimes the service there can questionable but that's probably due to how busy it can get. I had good service, but it also wasn't busy yet. The wings were delicious. read more

What happened to this place. This used to be one of my top 3 favorite wing spots for a very long time. I'm not saying I won't go back but I highly advise management to step it up and oversee what is being served at carry out. I'm happy to update my rating next time I am in. Someday... read more

Maybe we came at a good time and we sat at the bar area as we experienced good customer service when we dined here. We sat at the bar because there was quite a wait time for a regular table. Everyone from the manager to the other waitstaff was helpful and nice. Actually, it was our waiter who was the least notable. We had our baby with us and they'd pick up stuff we'd drop on the floor and interact with our baby. So, their wings were not that good, they were mostly not crispy, more like the frozen ones you get from the rocery stores. We tried the hot, thai curry and salted caramel. The first 2 were okay but don't make the mistke of ordering the last one, it was awful. A poor spin. What we really enjoyed was the pulled pork sandwich. OMG! it was probably gazillion calories with the amount of fat (butter, oil and pork fat) in it that's why, but holy smokes, it was a nice way to indulge. I even took home the leftovers and it still tasted good hours later (refrigerated then heated). When we left, the reception desk people thanked us for coming, I really liked that. read more

I've ordered my food via pickup from the Oxnard location several times. Although I arrive when they state it's ready my order is never ready and still have to wait another 30 minutes after arriving to get my food. Their spicy garlic tastes exactly like buffalo sauce. No garlic at all. Extremely dried chicken wings. Not ever gonna go back.

First getting food here in many years. The wings are by far better than Wing Stop. The business itself was extremely busy and service was extremely slow. I can in to order food to go. It took an hour to get my food to go but people that can in to sit down and eat where served a little bit sooner. I think the slow service was do to them being overwhelmed with orders called in via customer pick up or Uber eats / Door Dash. Either way, this was way to slow. I most likely will not be coming back! I have to start off by saying our server was really nice but my issue begins w/ this hostess. I love the place to go enjoy drinks and some wings while watching a game but I forgot my ID one time and asked the server if a photo of it was ok and she said no which I understood so I drove 20 min to my house (traffic) and 20 min back (still traffic), missed a quarter of the football game . I got there and drank some of my sisters margarita while I waited for her to pass by and the server said she wouldn't serve me and I said sorry here's my ID. AT NO POINT DID SHE LOOK AT IT BUT HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY IT WASNT ME IN THE PICTURE . So I explained to her that I went home to get my ID but she didn't wanna look at it claiming it was my sisters so I asked her to get mine and hers and take it to the manager and she came back asking what I wanted to drink .. Still left a 20% tip that she did not deserve due to the lack of service as well . read more

The closest thing to terrible. One star only because 0 isn't an option. The wings just fine. The service.... No chance.fries came 15 minutes before the entree. Beer took 15 minutes. I ordered tots and fries showed up without the seasoning I asked for. When I asked to speak to a manager all she could say is that this is how corporate wants us to do things. Sooooo you're not a manager. Either way all I would ask is that they would see the consumers perspective. I will not return. read more
