Went today to celebrate a coworkers birthday and the service sucked. They took forever with our food they forgot to bring someone a shot of alcohol and they lagged. Went yesterday for some wings after spending the day at the beach with my dog, when I got to the restaurant they were so nice and let us sit outside despite the patio not being open at the time. I hate posting negative reviews and only do if I think it's necessary. This is one of the cases. In the restaurant, there is absolutely minimal communication among the employees- they all tell you something different and you end up waiting at least 20mins. The food has always been mediocre compared to the Simi Valley location. Lukewarm food and errors on the orders are regular occurrences. Lastly, about their takeout. There has not been one occasion where I was not on hold for at least 15 minutes. This last time, the call dropped after 17 minutes on hold, and when I called back and told them the call was dropped very politely, the employee rudely told me "Well sir, acting like an asshole isn't making me want to take your order any more than others." I was so taken aback. This occurred on July 26 2020 at 8:28PM. I really want to enjoy this restaurant. But the employees and quality of food do now allow this. Who is the manager or owner here? I've ordered my food via pickup from the Oxnard location several times. Although I arrive when they state it's ready my order is never ready and still have to wait another 30 minutes after arriving to get my food. I no longer buy from them and get my food from Wingstop instead. I also do Door Dash and have had to wait 40 minutes before the order is even ready. I love the place to go enjoy drinks and some wings while watching a game but I forgot my ID one time and asked the server if a photo of it was ok and she said no which I understood so I drove 20 min to my house (traffic) and 20 min back (still traffic), missed a quarter of the football game . I got there and drank some of my sisters margarita while I waited for her to pass by and the server said she wouldn't serve me and I said sorry here's my ID. Went just before 5pm for the buy one get one free traditional wings and it wasn't busy. I was seated right away and got my wings pretty fast after ordering. I order lemon pepper and original Buffalo. The lemon pepper is one of their best sauces, def recommend. Sometimes the service there can questionable but that's probably due to how busy it can get. WORST SERVICE. I never leave bad reviews, but there's absolutely no excuse for the type of customer service here. The staff never greets you and it's like you literally need to do the first step everytime and say hi to them and request service. It's been like this even before Covid. I literally had to ask an employee 3 times if we could have our order taken and they kept telling me our server was on our way. That took another 15 minutes. Then they got our order wrong and gave us one of the spiciest wings they had when we had ordered a mild flavor. Seriously, how do you mess something like that up?? I came here with my best friend Gil and we only waited about 15 minutes to get seated, which was great because I heard people have waited at least 1+ hours to get seated. We had an awesome server Sarah who always checked on us and even let us have seasoned potato wedges as a substitute for the out of stock onion rings when we ordered the sampler platter as an appetizer. We had drinks such as the Bahama Mama and Strawberry Dacquiri which were delicious and not too crazy alcoholic. For wings, we ordered the 18 pack divided in 3 flavors: Honey BBQ, Caribbean Jerk and Parmesan Garlic. All were tasty, especially Caribbean Jerk. The total was $60 for 2 people which is pretty pricey for wings, sampler and drinks but it was well worth it for a first time visit and I'd come again :) read more

Maybe we came at a good time and we sat at the bar area as we experienced good customer service when we dined here. We sat at the bar because there was quite a wait time for a regular table. Everyone from the manager to the other waitstaff was helpful and nice. Actually, it was our waiter who was the least notable. We had our baby with us and they'd pick up stuff we'd drop on the floor and interact with our baby. So, their wings were not that good, they were mostly not crispy, more like the frozen ones you get from the rocery stores. We tried the hot, thai curry and salted caramel. The first 2 were okay but don't make the mistke of ordering the last one, it was awful. A poor spin. What we really enjoyed was the pulled pork sandwich. OMG! it was probably gazillion calories with the amount of fat (butter, oil and pork fat) in it that's why, but holy smokes, it was a nice way to indulge.
