Every week my coworkers and I go out for lunch...every week a new person picks the spot. I am the unpopular vote since I like "weird stuff" (as they put it...weird being sushi, Indian, Honduran...like any food that is not mainstream). Whatever their loss, right? My coworkers love the wings here but I'm just so not a wings person. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Buffalitos and was pleasantly surprised. They are basically chicken tacos and quite good. You can order a sauce or dry seasoning with them and I chose the dry seasoning...BBQ chipotle. OMG that seasoning went on EVERYTHING. My order came with fries and I sprinkled the seasoning on them as well as the tacos and boom...flavor town baby. We've been looking (with no success) for a decent wing place. This definitely isn't it. We hadn't tried BWW yet because I had always preferred wild wing cafe when I was stationed on the east coast, but sadly there isn't one here so we gave BWW a try. The wings are terrible. The sauces are decent but that's about it. I got traditional wings, ordered extra crispy and they were not crispy at all and had a weird unpleasant flavor in the meat. My wife got boneless wings and the breading was strange and didn't taste great. Worst of all, the ranch and blue cheese tasted exactly like Ken's brand that you'd get at the store. The only reason this is getting a 2 star instead of one is because the drinks were good. My wife ordered a spicy margarita that was really good. Good job bartender, bad job kitchen. How long it takes for your food to come out is outrageous, considering the fact that when it comes its hard and cold. I had a chicken sandwich that tasted like its days old, not fresh at all. I ordered some nachos from here, (ADD CHILLI, for $1.50) and the nachos come with barely any chilli. The queso was under the chips. I had 7 jalapeño peppers, and they weren't even ripe yet. Like most sports bars, BWW is loud, busy & fun while most of the servers are busy talking & flirting rather than taking care of their tables so don't expect 5 star service. After several visits, I can say the wings were consistently good. The service was consistently slow as well. You can't beat the half price traditional wings every Tuesday, it is a steal of a price! Best time to go is lunch time! You get your food within 15 minutes, so it doesn't get better than that. The service is a hit or miss. One of the few places that are opened by the time I get off of work, so I love it here. The Parmesan garlic and mango habanero boneless is my favorite. Five Stars for BWW you say?.... Well I might be bumping them a little high, but when I tell you what happened and how management reacted to an email I sent, you may just agree with me. We ate here a few weeks ago and I had the soft pretzels and the mini hot dogs with fries. The pretzel was fabulous, and I know what the heck I am talking about when it comes to soft pretzels. I grew up in the Bronx, and ate the soft pretzels there as a kid, as well as the maybe even more delicious ones in Philly. These are not as good as the NY or Philly ones but they come close. Crispy crust and chewy and soft center... yumm. and about 10 different sauces for you to select from. The hotdogs were also pretty good. Not Hebrew National good, but very tasty and all beef. To my total shock, they had no toppings for the dogs... no kraut, slaw, or even relish... bizarre. So I sent an email to BWW HQ in Minnesota the next day and I get a response the same day from the regional manager for BWW in Louisiana. He apologized for not having toppings, said they are sending me a $25 gift cert for my troubles...AND said that from now on, they would have kraut and relish at the location on Ambassador to meet my needs... now THAT is what I call customer service. Most places could care less about stocking a condiment that you want, nor would you get a personal email from the Regional Manager the following day. Good food. Amazing customer service. The food here is good, just like every Buffalo Wild Wings I've been to. What made me bump this one up to 4 stars is how accommodating they were for me. I am a big Virginia Tech fan, and here in the heart of SEC country they were nice enough to turn one of the TVs to the VT game for me, even though most of the people in the bar were watching the LSU game. They even checked back in with me to make sure they had turned it to the right game for me. That was really above and beyond from what they had to do, and I'll always go back there to watch the game if I'm in the area. read more

The food is alway good. The issue is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The carpets are always filthy with food, napkins, general debris all over the place. The tables are not cleaned timely after a customer leaves. We ate there tonight and the adjacent tables were left trashed as well as the floors beneath the tables for nearly an hour. Needless to say, our view was horrible while my family tried to enjoy ourselves. I am not to one to post good or bad reviews immediately or after a couple of visits so this review is based on the normal standard I have come to recognize. We have elected to eat wings elsewhere for this very reason and decided after a year to give the restaurant another chance. It was a bad decision and reconfirmed why we do not patronize the restaurant. Very poor example for the brand as the filthiness is severe. Sanitation is not a top 10 concern. To keep this concise events as follows: online order 20 traditional wings at 8:17pm (estimated order ready time 8:40), get notification at 8:42 order ready, walk-in and pay for my online order announcing my name 8:46, Grant, the cashier, says it's not quite ready, it'll be another 10-15 minutes, wait off to the side, listening for my name and watching them place the newest orders on the right and oldest on the left, after waiting 39 minutes I approach the counter to ask for either my order or a refund, Grant searches through the 20 something orders on the counter and grabs the bag third from the left! It was sitting there the whole time! Needless to say food was luke warm at best when I got home to eat it. I often come to this location because i love the food and the friendly service. but recently i had a waitress named katie for my brothers birthday. she rushed us to order brought the wrong drinks and had a very bad attitude and tried to argue and tell us what we ordered instead of fixing the mistake. after asking her if they could do anything for his birthday she said yes we do, but i'm not doing it for him. THIS ONE'S FOR YOU DAVE! :) Came here about 20 minutes to close, just got off work. My friends and I said that we'd make it quick as we know it's very annoying to have customers walking in when they're practically closing. We told our waitress that we would order and be out of her hair as soon as possible, I asked for a mojito and showed her my ID (I'm from Washington) and she asked for another form of identification since they've been having trouble with a lot of girls coming in with fakes. I left my bar card in my other serving pouch, but I had my UL ID that had a picture of me on it, and about 5 credit cards with my name on them and she said it was fine but just had to show her manager. After a few minutes, a man in a black shirt and glasses came up to us and said it was not a valid license since it didn't have the holograms on it. I told him it does, there was three down the middle and gave it to him to look again. He didn't even take a few seconds to look at it and continued to interrupt me. He showed me a picture of the Washington state ID they had in a book and said "well because it's not horizontal its not valid and this is the newest edition of our book" and I tried to explain to him or even GET A FEW FUCKING WORDS IN and he continued to interrupt me and repeat himself and left. I could definitely sense that he was just trying...*key word trying*...to be right and enjoying telling me "no" and thought he was SLICK for "catching me with a fake". WELL SIR. You can call the mother fucking LPD on my ass and have them scan my ID into the system if it's that important to you. Or you can step outside and look at my car and see the WASHINGTON STATE LICENSE PLATE. Bottom line is you're a twit. I would have so much more sympathy if he spoke to me with more respect, patience or even let me speak or LISTENED to me. I had to get this license before I turned 21 because I go home twice a year and if I hadn't gotten it before I turned 21 I would've been driving around Lafayette for 3 months with an expired license. As a manager at a SERVICE INDUSTRY he lacks customer SERVICE and was very rude and short and didn't take any time to even try to listen to me. I would have so much more respect for him if he said "I'm sorry ma'am but I have to go with this manual and I can't serve you tonight." and offer some sort of further explanation so maybe I can be served next time. But no. Just an oversized baby longing to win an argument. That's fine. Our server was wonderful, I've had her before several times and she's always quick to refill drinks and put in our orders. She was very understanding and listened to everything I had to say or ask. She sympathized with me, but was only doing her job as she always does. Handled this situation much better than the manager.
