Absolutely great service nice view and the freshest and most delicious burger I've had maybe in my life. Bar none !!

I'm so late to the Legends party but now that I've arrived I'm going to be the last to leave. Legends is a great sports bar that serves terrific food and often has live music. It's insanely popular and now I know why. First of all let me just say that there is a huge debate about who has the best burger in Lafayette. This is a burger type of town and everyone seems to want to throw their hat in the ring. I love a good burger just as much as the next person, so the friendly competition is fine by me. I ordered the Hawaiian Cheese Burger and it was perfect...a deliciously seasoned and hand formed half pound beef patty with bacon, pineapple and pepper jack cheese. Yum! It comes with a pickle spear and a bag of chips (Zapp's, of course) and was just under $10. Fun atmosphere, delicious burgers and eight locations all over Lafayette will keep me coming back to Legends! read more

Ok I'll admit, good burger... But come on... For a burger at this price point I have some requirements... Almost a burger formula or algorithm, if you will... Burger + plastic condiment packs + chips = No Burger + plastic condiment packs + fries = Ok Burger + prepped bun + chips = Ok (+- yummy pickle) Burger + prepped bun + fries = Terrific (+- yummy pickle) Burger + prepped bun + fries + yummy pickle = $12 plate I mean, when it comes down to serving good bar food, it's just simple math. So let me start by saying my husband I like to go to the same place when we want to have a drink. It's kinda like the tv show Cheers to us. We walk in and everyone knows our name. With that being said it's hard to rate a bar out if town. We love a place where we know people and can chill. We found this bar while traveling. First of all it was kinda cool when we pulled up and noticed it used to be a gas station. It adds a little character to the outside. There was a huge patio area outside. I could see myself chillin with a bunch of friends out there. Inside was a bit small for what we like. The bar itself is a U shaped bar with typical bar stools all around. The female bartender was working at a slow pace for a busy bar because her friends came in and she stayed by them. There was another bartender who kinda picked up her slack. They had a pretty beer beer selection and he did his best to help me choose new ones to try. The music was great. It was a bit loud for it being small with no dance floor. If there is no dance floor then I plan to converse. It was kinda difficult. Overall it wasn't bad but wasn't great. I'd go back to grab a drink if I'm in the area but no go out of my way. read more

When i arrived some guy was acting belligerent. I sat next to him and he said a lot of ridiculous stuff. They kicked him out, he came back and they wouldn't serve him. Not a big deal, they probably made the right move. But then some bouncer suddenly wouldn't let me in because I was talking to the drunk dude. He wouldn't even let me talk to the manager. I finally snuck in through the side door and found the manager. He is told me to come back in an hour, which is ridiculous for not doing anything. When I came back the same bouncer wouldn't let me in any door, so I just went home. This is really unacceptable. read more

First of all, the address Yelp has for this place is WRONG! It is located at 4559 Johnston St., across from Courtesy Buick. It is not often I give a little sports bar 5 stars, but after eating here at least ten times in the last year I will tell you why.... Everything I have ever ordered here was excellent.. without exception and the Abita on draft is fresh and cold. Chicken nachos - yumm Burger and fries - one of the best burgers in Laf. Caeser Salad - very good and very fresh greens. Chicken quesadilla - as good as most Mex places in town. Vegetable wrap - maybe best item on the menu. How the chef takes 5-6 vegetables, sautees them, wraps them up in a tortilla and makes such a delicious sandwich is beyond me... but he does it every time I've had it... and I've eaten it at least 6x.... ohh, and it costs $5.. It is so good, it doesn't even need any sauce. Legends totally rocks. read more

We have our group Christmas parties here. The waiters are super friendly, always busy, but always attentive. The tuna wrap is always a great go to! Really cold beer and relaxing atmosphere. One of the quickest expanding bar chains in the area. read more

today my girlfriend & I went here cuz it was something different & there was no one inside to greet you or anything. it look like the people had been waiting for refills. & this was our first time time there so we didn't know we had to we had to seat out self. so when the girl came I said for two. she said "two what" with very bad attitude. so as I was going over the menu. she came up to us. real rude & said are yall 21 & I said no we're not. she said umm. well y'all have to go outside cause y'all aren't 21. well okay. we aren't allowed to buy drinks so why do we have to sit outside. it's really hot outside for one. so we just left & went some place we're welcome. read more

Love the food, I strongly believe their burgers are the best in town! Relax place and live music. The do need more bartenders though.

A Legends burger is one of my favorite things to treat myself to. I live the burgers in bun and wrap form. Everything else I've had on their menu is excellent,too. Especially the tuna and the quesadilla. read more
