Absolutely horrid service. I wish you could give a negative number of stars. The host & hostess (that's right, there were 2 of them) acted as if it was a HUGE imposition to find a place for us to sit. They, did, however manage to scrounge up a table. We then sat for 15+ minutes with menus in front of us. I watched 3 tables be cleared, seated & served in the amount of time we were sitting there. Also of note, I had a hungry 10year old, 5 year old & 1 year old quickly approaching meltdown mode. STILL, no service. Eventually, we had to leave. This place has gone so far down hill that every time I'm there it seems someone is angry about something. I've had times when the phone was never answered. Other times, the food has been way over cooked or tasted like it was fried in old fryer grease. The restaurant feels dirty and the price for quantity and quality has changed drastically over the years. I used to eat BW3 once a week at least. I now search for other options. Even my two sons feel like the quality of the food has dropped and no longer will eat their boneless wings. Late time in, I used my stopwatch app to track how long it took to be waited on for a pickup order. It was over 3min and they weren't busy. I placed a carry out order at the bar and the bartender forgot about my order. I was in town for work so when she finally brought my meal out I grabbed it and went back to my hotel. We eat here every once in awhile and i have never had issues with the food i always enjoy it but it is kinda pricy and service can be slow but they can also be very packed at times and the wings are really good i dont really like how loud it is in there but it has tvs everywhere so good fir spots watching and drinks!!!! read more

Went for outdoor lunch during non-peak hours today. We noticed it was taking a long for appetizer and food. We didn't point it out and we're being patient-the waitress came to apologize for wait. Brought appetizer-kept waiting-brought the wings and said they messed up the sandwich order and she was going to get the manager because the wait and screw up was ridiculous. Manager (Amanda) not helpful at all. Told the waitress to just bring sand which with to go container and check we couldn't wait any longer (45+ minutes). Get the bill and manager took off $6 off our $43 bill. Didn't even credit the sand which I didn't get to eat! Terrible management! read more

This is the worst BWW location I've ever been to. I've ordered two things the last three times I've gone and they somehow seem to screw the order up every single time. Forgot cheese for soft pretzel. Burnt soft pretzel. Forgot fries. Its always something with these guys. After turning around and driving 15 minutes back to pick up what they forgot, I was offered a $5 dollar gift card which barely covered the gas to come back. This place is horrible. The food is ok. I mean, wings are wings. But service can be slow and it is SO LOUD that you can't talk with people and watch the game. Biggest letdown for me is the value. I ordered street tacos which came out cold. I sent it back and 15 minutes later, the meal came out cold again. You would think that if a cold meal was brought back, the kitchen staff would make sure the second meal would at least be warm. It felt like it was put in the fridge. I looove the franchise and was excited to patronize this location! The first time i ordered here, i got sick later that evening. Hope the kitchen is up to code! I tried to come back one night after work. I sat at the bar and ordered a fruity drink. I pulled out my Virginia Drivers License (i was assigned to iowa for 4 months for work) and they denied me! They told me my DL was fake and refused to serve me, even after i showed them my DMV paperwork with a reciept and corresponding license number (i had just updated my license before i left and still had the paperwork in my wallet). They didnt even have an ID scanner, only a black light which they claimed showed irregularities. Will never return to this location, the one on edgewood is much better! read more

Went to this location because they offer some outdoor seating however it was homecoming night and full of people. We ended up seating inside with huge TV screens (and some small) all around us. It's pretty typical chain food, nothing very noteworthy. The ribs weren't very meaty or tasty for that matter. The chicken tenders were decent but salty. The fries are the thin shoestring type which I don't like, my advice is to substitute onion rings or something. They offer "boneless" buffalo wings, aka chicken nuggets rolled in sauce. I have no idea why anyone would order these. The regular wings are the real thing and they have over a dozen sauces to chose from that run the gamut from sweet to very hot and everything in between. read more

This one seems to have more children and families than the edgewood location. Delayed service for take out can be common, but worth the wait. Get your wings extra done or crispy so that by the time you are home they are not soggy. Staff is a little slow here unless you get the tattoo guy, not sure what his name is, but he is pretty fast and picks up on when you want to order or need a refill on your drink. read more

I have always loved B Dubs, however this one seems to be one of the worst. I usually always get boneless wings at any bww that i go to. This one always seems to be using leftovers and the sauce is never thouroughly drenched on the wing even if you ask for them wet. Its almost like they just drizzle a bottle over them. Overall though it is bww. Its an overpriced chain bar and grill. They only thing that does keep me coming back is the sauce because it is decent for being made on a large scale. I've been in and out of this Buffalo Wild Wings location for years now. Although I am no longer a Cedar Rapids resident I still swing in here when I'm in town. It's no secret that great service is not synonymous with Buffalo Wild Wings but I was pleasantly surprised by my last visit to this location. The spruced up atmosphere was appealing but more appealing was the grade: A service provided by Randy our server. I mark a star off for the poor experiences in the past but I would say this restaurant is surely turning things around if my last visit was any indication. read more

I used to come here with friends and beable to watch a game and enjoy some good food and have a good time. BWW has been going down hill recently, not sure if they are hiring the wrong employees or what. Waiters are ok but the wings are just awful. Its sad when your company is subjected for wings and when the come out half of them are cold and half of them are not even covered in the sauce you chose. Ordered 100 wings, asked for sauces on the side since not everyone likes the same thing. When I came to pick up the order they had given me 6 containers (a few ounces each) of sauce. It wouldn't be so bad except that when I called on the phone I asked them to make sure they gave plenty of sauce. I asked for more when I went to pick up; they acted annoyed and went back to fill more containers. They came back after about 5 minutes with about 6-8 more containers. IF YOU LIKE FRIED PICKLES, DON'T EAT HERE Ate here a few times when I didn't have certain games and such on my TV. Went to sit at the bar tops with my friends and overall had adequate service.. Drinks always came fast.. And were cold, like the food was half the time. The 4th and last time I ate here I tried the fried pickles as an appetizer. I don't know how I did it but I managed to eat a quarter of the soggy things that tasted half cooked (and probably were) and let my friends crush the rest. ALL of us except our one friend who hates pickles and didn't try them threw up that night. I was woken up at 3:30 by a stabbing pain in my stomach and was in the bathroom for an hour just heaving. It left me sick for 4 DAYS, unable to move from my bed. Just the sight of this place on blairs ferry makes me nauseous. NEVER coming here again. read more

This place used to be one of my favorite locations when I moved to Cedar Rapids. Now, it's a guarantee that something will go wrong whenever we go here. We wanted to try a new sauce that they had, so we ordered some appetizers and figured the waiter would be back to take our order after we tried the sauce. Nope! We had to have another waiter take our order. We got our appetizers about 45 minutes before we got our dinner. Then, of course the food is ice cold. The sauce looks like it's been sitting on these wings for a few hours. Out of 24 wings that we ordered, they were all cold. How can you make people wait so long for their food and then serve them cold food? I tell the manager and he gives me an attitude. Like I am interrupting his day. He offered to remake our orders, but I didn't want to go through the waiting process. He offered to let us pay for just the appetizers and drinks. I don't really review any places, but this place is a joke. If you just want a rotten experience, this is the place to spend your time. I will never return to this establishment. I'm not sure why we keep giving this place a chance. My husband ordered carry out from the restaurant to ensure we had hot food when we got it home (it was cold last time and management blamed us for it). We ordered boneless wings and fries. My husband told them he would be at the bar waiting for his food. After 25 minutes my husband returned to the front counter to ask if his food was ready yet. Instead of the server bringing his carry out to the bar when it was ready she waited for him to come ask for it. The order was incomplete (missing fries) and the wings were soggy and luke warm. When my husband called to tell them they screwed his order up again they blamed us stating it was our job to check our food before we leave. Staff were standing around talking to each other and the restaurant was less than half full. The only thing consistent about this place is poor service, poor management and poor food quality. This was our second nite in a row visiting BWW. Yesterday was my son's 12th b-day and between Santo the guest experience capt and Megan McD our waitress they rocked out the service and made his b-day. We returned the next nite with friends to try the new caramel sauce we had tasted at Santos's recommendation. It was excellent again and Bryce the guest experience capt that nite took awesome care of us !!! This is our boys' favorite place to go so we will most definitely be back soon. We placed a to go order using the Buffalo Wild Wings on-line system. The system failed to transfer any of the sauces we wanted so when I arrived at the scheduled time the order hadn't been started! The staff was "nice"; however, they seemed incompetent, asking me 7 times to provide the sauce information. It took 30 minutes to get my order which was only warm by the I got home 7 minutes later. Wing Tuesdays used to be a great value, but the prices have skyrocketed lately (up a third this year alone). The other food is hit and miss, but the staff and management make a good effort (which wasn't always the case in the past). They have lots of TV's and get sports packages, so it's a good place to find out-of-market games (or keep up with multiple games at once). read more

this place was not good food. the spices on the mozzarella sticks were terrible. the chicken had bones in it and i said i wanted boneless because i'm allergic to chicken bones. the ranch costed $1.30 cents and that's not too bad. but i like a lot of ranch. so by the end of my meal it was a good $30 just in ranch. also the drinks are $3 and i get thirsty so it ended up being $50 just in drinks. every time i go here, all my money just goes right DOWN THE DRAIN. don't go here read more
