Service was polite and quick. The restaurant was not busy as we came in late. It was clean and quiet. Our waitress was nice enough to even ask the bartender for particular drinks we wanted. The issue was our food. The deluxe tots were very salty. The spicy garlic bone in wings were good but more spicy than garlic. Finally the chicken sandwich and fries were terrible. I come to BDubs for one thing and one thing only, to crush Parmesan garlic wings. Got there, only waited about 5 or so minutes to be seated (it was pretty busy, so I was very happy with that). Our waitress was super friendly and personable, and very attentive. I got a couple beers and a water, and she already made sure she came back to see if I needed a refill. The staff all seemed like they were enjoying themselves, and I got to meet the GM as well, Angi. She came over to check on us, very friendly, cool vibe, funny. She even convinced me to try a flavor that I've never tried before, spicy garlic. You'd expect with chain restaurants that the food will taste the same where ever the location, but my food was super fresh, one of the best BDubs experiences I've ever had. 5 out of 5 stars hands down. read more

Gosh you just don't give a shit. Gone are the days when Tara was the manager and the place was PACKED. There were more employee cars in the a parking lot then patrons on a Friday at 7:30. I get that school's out, blah, blah, blah. Place just isn't a destination in even an elementary way. Not busy at all. We came in the side door by the bar and sat at a high top. The bartender saw us, literally made eye contact and did not verbally acknowledge. We sat within reaching distance from the bar and waited for about 10 minutes with ZERO acknowledgement from the bar tender. Stop for a moment. Think about how long ten minutes is. Seriously. My husband walked 3 steps to the bar to order drinks and the bartender told him there was a bar waiter that could help us. Bartender literally did nothing to call the waiter. At one point she was just posted up with her arm on the bar between mixing ordered drinks. Never rude...just oblivious. Mike & a waitress in training came to us and were gracious and apologetic. Let me be clear that we weren't looking for an apology. We were just hungry and thirsty. Great customer service from them. Other 2 pictures are staff just posted up having a gay old time cutting up. None of this was intentional or mean or rude. They just didn't give a fuck in a sad way. Bathrooms were dirty and generally uncared for. Dirty bathrooms are gross for real and no one can deny that. We came back again, and this time it was so much better. We were seated after 15 minutes or so, and our waitress was nothing but kind and attentive. Over the course of the night she forgot a drink refill and part of our order, but she was quick to rectify it and ended up taking one of the drinks off of our tab. We got the cheese sampler, which comes with cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, and grilled cheese coated with Desert Heat, though we got ours without. My friend got a burger and a touchdown spike cocktail, both of which came out exactly the way she wanted. I got the BBQ Ranch Mac & Cheese, which was good and gluttonous and topped with crunched up Cheez-its. I also got a side snack order of boneless wings which comes free on your birthday, with the Mumbai Masala sauce and a hard rootbeer. I wasn't a fan of the sauce too much, it was WAY too acidic. But you live and you learn and hey, it was free. This was a much better dining experience than the trainwreck that happened last time, and I'm glad to see the improvement. read more

This BWW really surprised me, in a good way. The food is pretty much like any other one, but I like the service here a lot better. The one waiter we got (I think his name was Scott) was awesome! They really know how to take care of their customers. This is the place to be for the college crowd on the weekend and late (midnight to 1am), but it is probably one of the only places open that late anyways. They also show Pay-Per-View events for free occasionally. One downside is that they still have the old boxey TV sets that we had about ten years ago. Expect to see projectors instead of flat screen tvs. I like the Asian Zing sauce! Anything higher than that would burn my tongue. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings proved to be the best bar in Carbondale. To say the playlist was "fire" would be an understatement. Constant bops played all night, and the beer was reasonably priced! I got a tall stout, but the bartender let me sample a few beers before I ordered! Besides the fun atmosphere, the food was phenomenal! I usually get wings, but this time I decided to try out their burger. Wow! Delicious! The only complaint I have is that there weren't enough fries for the meal. Riki D manager and Tori bartender should not be in the service industry!! We wanted to order wings and 2 beers and watch last 5 minutes of Game 4 of NBA playoffs. We walked in the front door and turned right to walk to the bar. We were unaware of the signage on the hostess stand that was printed out that you must be seated thru the hostess to be able to sit at the high top tables in bar. I found a server to ask if kitchen was still open as it was after 9:30pm she said yes but we needed to go back to the hostess stand and stand by the red bucket in order to be seated in the main dining room. I said I wanted to sit in the bar-she began to explain that the tables were all on rotation and we could not sit anywhere we wanted. I reminded her that we are paying customers and we just wanted to sit and order some dinner and a beer. She then blurted out rudely" You need to do what's best for you and right now they are on a 10 minute wait". We sat at the high top table and waited a few minutes. My husband got up and walked to the bar to order 2 beers. The bartender rudely asked if we sat ourselves and proceeded to launch again in an aggressive tone that we can't seat ourselves and we have to sit at " the rails" in order to get service. she stated she would not serve me until I can speak to her "like a human". I thought she was going to come across the bar at me with her aggressive attitude. The manager came behind the bar and Tori began telling the manager the story that the previous server had told her within my earshot. It was a very uncomfortable and awkward moment as we were looking at the menu to select our dinner. My husband proceeded to order 2 Coors Lites and Tori stop him and asked me if I had been drinking earlier that evening as the previous server told her "I smelled of alcohol ". We had just arrived from out of state to attend my niece's wedding on Saturday. Needless to say we had two aggressive women now questioning my sobriety. I was insulted and appalled by the questioning. We left abruptly-without ordering any dinner and missing the last minutes of the game. NEVER have we ever been treated so poorly by restaurant staff in a service establishment. The experience really left a disappointing impression on our first night in Carbondale. I only wish that we had taken time to read the reviews on this location as we would have never walked in the door after reading so many negative reviews on how rude the staff is. Went to BWW on 9-14-2019 around 8PM. It was family weekend at SIU. My son ordered mozzarella sticks which were hot as expected. Me, my wife, and daughter ordered a mix of boneless and bone in wings. All were cold. They need someone in the kitchen to manage the food being sent out. I would never have served this food to any of my guest. Let alone a paying customer. Man! I am a lover of bww and have been to them all over the USA but this was the worst experience I have ever had at one. I was seated in a dark corner of a nearly empty dining area, waited for 6 minutes before the "girl" came to ask me if I wanted a drink, and the music was so loud that it reminded me of riding down the road in my 6 4. I went ahead and ordered my go to because she never gave me a menu and asked if they could please turn down the music. The bartender finally turned the music down after about 5 minutes. When they did, I could hear other patrons saying thank god and finally. I ordered a side salad as a starter and a meal. Food was good and hot but she brought my salad out with my meal. I only received one drink and was never asked if wanted a refill due to the fact that I never saw her again until the check came. I'm usually the best ripper as long as you keep my drink filled. The food could suck but as long as my drink is filled the server will be well compensated. The owner can contact me if they wish to know the name of the server in a private pm. We have been going to Cdale Buffalo Wild Wings for years. We have four kids and it has been our hangout after their sporting events. Last night was, by far, our worst experience. Our waitress complained that the manager won't let her go home even though they aren't busy. She gave us our drinks, took our order, and disappeared. We didn't see her for one hour and 2 minutes. My go-to, classic order is 5 boneless wings with buffalo seasoning with a basket of fries and a sprite. Some other good options are the Parmesan garlic sauce, the buffalo chicken wrap, the spinach artichoke dip, chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks, and the Pretzels. Delicious food and good drinks. This was one of the most miserable eating experiences of my life. The place was extremely loud with pop music and screaming babies. Add to that a two hour wait for food. I had to write a review for this place simply based on the fact that it had the steakhouse tag attached to the restaurant. Are you serious? cmon people. Anyway, BWW is your typical bar and grill that has gotten far to much attention since it moved into Carbondale. It's a cheap place that you can meet your friends at and have a relatively good time, but the food isn't really anything to write home about. If your craving wings and a relatively cheap beer, this would be the place to go, but don't expect to be blown away by their food or their service. Its your typical chain restaurant. read more

Ideal for cheap wings and beers! When I was in college, BWW was a huge part of my weekends. No matter where the location, this place is awesome on game day. Me and my friends would order piles of wings and pitchers of beers and always had a great time. All BWWs I've been to have this great balance between feeling like a sports bar and a pretty nice restaurant. You don't have to be afraid to make a little noise, and you never worry about the quality of your food. The waitresses and bartenders are always friendly and quick to serve. The food is always good and affordable. And I know for a fact that either Tuesday or Thursday is all you can eat wings...I can't remember which because I usually chase each wing down with a beer. First time I've gotten really good food here. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese instead of ranch. It was excellent and the service was very good. I've been to this one about five times and every other time I got wings. The wings aren't that good. The sauces are good but the wings are soft and fatty. Fries were just average fries. Random note: I asked our server where BWWs started and she didn't know. She asked what looked like a manager and she didn't know either. They told me it was on the menu and brought one for me which was nice. I'd chalk that up to the franchise owner's area. Maybe he doesn't feel it's important but the founding owners must have since they put it on the menu. Still the food was really good and the server was spot on with promptness and follow up. One more note: the owner was there eating with a large group. I hope the experience is this satisfying when he's not in the restaurant.
