I went to BWW on Sunday night to watch the Super Bowl and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as packed as I was expecting and grabbed a seat in the bar area. You really cannot pick a bad seat if you want to watch a game because there are big screen TVs everywhere. I ordered the fried pickles, street tacos with fries and a blue moon beer. All came out quickly and tasted great! The fried pickles were crunchy on the outside and the smoky southwestern ranch dip paired with it is so good. My street tacos had great flavor but could of had more filling. And the fries are always great. My only complaint was the waitress didn't check on me for long periods of time and I ended up eating my fried pickles with my fingers since I didn't have any utensils. Overall BWW is a nice chill spot to eat, drink, and enjoy a game or extra company.

Terrible service at the bar. On our receipt it said our waitress's name was "Jade" her name tag said something different. We had a $43 bill. Paid $20 in cash and the rest ($23) on a VISA gift card with over $55 left on it. "Jade" never returns with the gift card, we had to ask her what's going on why we didn't get a receipt to sign. She said "oh I assumed that was for me". "Well why didn't you ask the customer to sign" and then she brought the tip that she gave to herself back????? Very bad and dishonest service. If you get a tip (which you always should) the customer should decide and sign for it. NEVER SHOULD WE HAVE TO ASK YOU WHY YOU TIPPED YOURSELF OVER 20% when you didn't run your drinks, food or take our order!!!! Never returning.

Ok, I'll admit this wasn't our first choice for dinner, but after hearing the wait times at two other restaurants on a busy Friday night BW3 was our last shot, and somehow they were able to seat us immediately. I'm not much of a wings gal but I get the impression that they're pretty good here, and there are tons of sauce options. The rest of the menu is standard wing-bar fare. I love a place that serves local beers on tap so I was thrilled to get a nice, tall Sun King Wee Mac. Our server didn't seem to know too much about what other brews were on tap but I honestly didn't care once I heard the Wee Mac was available. All the employees were incredibly friendly and happy-looking - not just our own, but every server I made eye contact with was smiling and pleasant. Even at the host stand. It was pretty loud and hard to hear, but it's a wing bar filled with kids and large groups on a Friday night so of course it's gonna be loud. Overall, the food is pretty standard but the service was excellent and it gave us exactly what we needed: corn dogs for the kids and local brews for mom and dad.

We had an excellent family dinner with the great service. Our portions were ample, and the restaurant was clean and lively.

Today for lunch I decided to do something a little different. I typically don't have long for lunch…read moreso most times I'm discouraged to get a good home cooked type of meal. I took a chance... let me say, I'm so happy I did. I have heard many great things about this sports lounge & the food that they offer. They are perfectly nestled into a highly trafficked strip off of Georgetown rd & it's welcoming for "regular lunchtime attire" even though as soon as I stepped in, I felt underdressed (in a good way) the place is VERY clean & fully equipped for both day and night time crowds. Parking is all shared with the neighboring stores/businesses but it is very large so no qualms about finding a good spot. I was surprised to have placed a food order for myself and my daughter around 12:45pm and my food was bagged and ready to go by 1:15pm - while I waited, I did partake in an alcohol slushy which was so delicious & well deserved haha. The kitchen staff that I came in contact with and the bartender (Jasmine, Ms. Gigi & Shamon (sp)) were all very sweet women and took their time answering all of my curious questions about the space as well as menu/drinks. Another fun fact I learned about this place is that it is BLACK OWNED!! The food quality was on point (no cheap ingredients) and it was still hot when I got home. Fried mushrooms are always a sports bar go to of mine & these lived up to my expectations, the catfish was juicy on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside- not one piece of the two large fillets were the seasonings compromised. My daughter LOVED her wings & we know how teenagers love chicken wings. She was also happy the red beans & rice weren't spicy like she's had in the past from other places. One last thing I'd like to mention is that I usually am annoyed that my to-go order didn't include proper utensils or sauces requested.... They did not shy away from giving me ample sauces & napkins (they were thick too)! All in all, AllStars gets 5 stars from me! I can't wait to go back but the next review for them will be of the nightlife, which I've seen people rave about on IG and I fear I have been missing out.

The pomegranate martini (the "Pometini") was just about the worst drink I've ever had. I won't even say that it tasted like cough syrup because that would be unfair to the makers of cough syrup. In the end, the beer selection was acceptable ... but finding that out was like pulling teeth. First, the beer lists on the table only listed the same, easy-drinking crap you find everywhere else. But when I walked up to the bar itself to ask the owner a question (the waitress was useless), he did some digging behind the bar and eventually unearthed an Upland IPA and even an Upland Barleywine (which really isn't anything special, but at least has some novelty-value in this part of the world). Not bad, but not really that good, either. I'd go back to give the food a try, but it'll take a lot to be impressed.

The restaurant was busy, and became even busier as we were dinning. There were only two servers for the entire restaurant. We waited quite a while for our order to be taken. We actually saw three different tables get up and leave the restaurant because no one came to take their order. The table next to us waited a while as well. When the server finally came to their table, she said, " I'll get to you when I can." We had a different server from the table next to us. Our server got our order wrong and our bill was incorrect. The restaurant has around 13 TVs, making it a great place to watch sporting events. As mentioned this was Sunday after the INDY 500. Being broadcast while we were at Gatsby was the replay of the Indy 500, the NASCAR race, the Pacers pre-game for the eastern finals. Gatsby had the Indy 500 on one TV. NASCAR and the Pacers were not shown at all. What was shown? The same UFL game was on five TVs, women's softball, happy TV network, 60 minutes, and two TVs that scrolled advertisement for bar poker. I've nothing against UFL and women's softball. But this is Indianapolis and it's the day of the 500 in the Pacers! There were also several individuals in the restaurant with Kyle Larson shirts. I know they would've been interested in the NASCAR race since Kyle ran both the 500 and made it in time to Charlotte for nascar. Sadly, it appears management of Gatsby missed the mark tonight on a couple of items. First, they underestimated the crowd on a holiday weekend and misjudged the number of servers that they needed in the restaurant. There is a hotel right next-door to Gatsby's. We saw several groups of individuals entering the hotel, coming from the race. We also saw several groups walking from the hotel to Gatsby's for dinner. Management misunderstanding the impact of the race on their business is one thing. Another is the apparent lack of comprehension of a large group of out-of-town visitors at a hotel next-door. Second, management did not appear to be cognizant of the local sporting events and the concept of what patrons may want to watch on a sports filled weekend at a sports pub. As mentioned Gatsby's is our favorite place for pizza and fried mushrooms. We will definitely return for those items and give them another try. This visit just sadly disappointed with regards to the customer service and customer awareness aspect. And was not a good representation of what Indianapolis has to offer for out of town visitors.

TVs were everywhere, and with the Final Four game on, it made the vibe even better with music playing throughout the patio. Our server, Dajiah, was friendly and gave great recommendations, which we appreciated. For a bigger crowd, she was on it. For drinks, I had the Pineapple Smash (crown whiskey and double shot) and it was very good, definitely one of my favorites. I also tried the Blackberry Smash, which was just as good. My husband ordered a Blue Moon since they didn't have Mango Cart. He later tried to order a whiskey sour but ended up with a whiskey bound, which he didn't care for, though I thought it was decent. We started with the garlic knots appetizer with cheese and marinara, and those were good. For my meal, I had the salmon, which normally comes with rice and another side, but I swapped for a side salad and broccoli. I really enjoyed my salmon and broccoli. I got turned off from my salad because of one small issue. There was a hair in my side salad, but they handled it.
