I'm writing this review because my recent visit to the BW3's near the Asheville airport was, frankly, beyond disappointing. To say it was less than ideal is an understatement. The floors were thick and slick with grease, making it uncomfortable--and honestly unsafe--just to walk to our table. That should've been the first warning sign. The food was a complete letdown. We ordered nachos that arrived dry, with barely any cheese--no grated cheese, no properly melted cheese, and no cheese dip at all. The chips themselves were bland, and the only thing they seemed to add in excess were pickled and roasted peppers, which overwhelmed the dish and made it unpleasant. Being told they were out of guacamole by 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday was ridiculous. We also ordered 24 bone-in wings with dry rub on the side. Out of all 24 wings, we received only two drumettes. The chicken was poorly prepared, overly greasy, and left an unpleasant aftertaste. We never received the celery or carrots we asked for, despite requesting them. Service is where this experience crossed from bad to outright ridiculous. I've operated a food service business before, and what I witnessed was a complete breakdown of leadership, teamwork, and basic hospitality. Our table was in the bar area, and it was obvious the bartender was genuinely trying--she was overwhelmed, stretched thin, and doing the best she could under poor conditions. She was not the problem. The problem was the rest of the wait staff. They were young, rude, dismissive, and entirely ineffective. Southern hospitality - NO WAY! Multiple servers repeatedly walked past our table, clearly saw that we needed assistance, and chose to ignore us. There was no effort to help the bartender, no teamwork, and no shared responsibility for guests. Even the most basic operational details were being ignored. The Pepsi tasted flat and off--clearly not calibrated properly--which is a fundamental behind-the-scenes responsibility. When something that simple isn't being monitored, it's obvious there is no real management oversight happening anywhere in the operation. We waited more than 15 minutes after finishing our meal just to get a check. It never came. Eventually, my partner had to carefully walk across the greasy floor to the bar and insist that we be allowed to pay so we could leave. What truly underscored how dysfunctional this place is was what happened at the table next to us. A two-person table repeatedly tried to get a server's attention for ketchup. After being ignored again and again, the gentleman finally stood up, walked to the side of the bar, reached behind the bar himself, and grabbed a bottle of ketchup--clearly frustrated and done waiting. That should never happen in a properly run restaurant. Throughout all of this, there were plenty of staff on the floor. What was missing was management. We overheard employees talking about where the manager--"Scott"--was, noting that he was "somewhere in the back" while the entire front of house was in complete disarray. No one was directing staff. No one was checking on tables. No one was stepping in to support the bartender. There was zero leadership happening in real time. I have worked as a waiter many times, and I can assure you, there were enough staff, just not enough management. The owners were pissing away money with this crew. We watched at least three other groups, who were waiting for tables, walk out because they were tired of waiting and being ignored. This was not a staffing shortage--it was a management failure. I don't know who "Scott" is, but he should really ensure that the wait staff refrain from commenting about him amongst themselves on the floor, so the patrons can overhear. Pitiful food, unsafe cleanliness, disengaged staff, and no operational oversight. I will never return to this location, and I'll be sharing this experience widely so others know what to expect. This place needs immediate intervention from corporate, because what's happening here is unacceptable. read more

This is the airport road location of BWW. Much smaller and brighter than Tunnel road. Same great service and food. Just really bright with the spot lights shining above the tables. Odd seating arrangement also. Also, usually very cold inside. So 4 stars due to the bright lights and freezing. read more

I had a very disappointing experience last night when a manager, Greg, actually forced me to leave because the store was closing. I was already in the process of paying my bill but my server wasn't acting quick enough. Greg informed me that the Inspire Brands has tasked him and other managers with ousting all guests out of the store by closing time. He said it was a safety issue. A server told me there was an employee meeting early in the morning, so I didn't believe Greg. I asked him what would happen if a party walked in just before closing time. He told me the servers would bring To-Go boxes to impel guests to leave. I went to another BWW and a manager who knew me well told me that's not the standard at BWW at his store. I've frequented this store over 2 yrs averaging 4x's a week and am a Blazing Rewards member. I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING FORCED TO LEAVE AFTER ALL THE BUSINESS I'VE GIVEN YOU GUYS. My food came 30 minutes after the rest of my party but because I ate it and didn't tell them until after my food was delivered, they couldn't comp the whole meal. I just picked up an order of wings and I'm pretty sure they are a recycled order. Looks like they just poured some sauce on some that have been sitting . Looked good but hard under the sauce. I don't think I'll be going back. Eating inside is probably better. read more

Edit: received our food after 40 min of waiting. Everything was stale, I had at least thought after waiting for so long that it would've been somewhat fresh. Onion rings were missing and no drinks with the kids meals. Will probably not be back to this location. I will be calling when they open for a refund* Food is always pretty good... but the service is always so slow. Especially for take out, it takes 20+ min after the order pick up time. No one is ever in the pickup station side because they're short staffed and it's not their fault but don't say food will be ready in 10 min if it's going to be ready 20+ min after that. read more

This place has to have the slowest kitchen in all of Arden and every other BWW I've ever been to. My family and I have visited 4 times to sit down and once for takeout over the last several years and every time leave saying we'll never be back. This was the first time we'd been back since all Covid restrictions are over so we thought we'd give them another chance. In a restaurant that was maybe half full we waited an entire hour for our food to be delivered. Sitting near the kitchen they putting out one order every 20 minutes which is crazy for a place that basically throws wings or nuggets in a frier and tosses them in a sauce. You have probably 10-12 tables set so the math gets scary pretty fast. It would suck to be the wait staff here when all you can do is keep a drink full and yell at the kitchen. People would come in with parties if 2-3 and have to wait 15-20 minutes for a half empty restaurant because the kitchen just couldn't get food out. Service was good. Food was improperly delivered and my son's nuggets were over fried to the point he couldn't really eat them but given the wait time we didn't want to complain and just suffered through. Waitresses service is the only thing keeping this from being one star. read more

I called in a to go order. My first sentence was I'd like to order the 50 traditional wings and the lady on the phone literally sighed and said oh lord. I asked if something was wrong and she ignored my question and continued to begrudgingly take my order. I thought maybe they were busy so i offered to come pick up at a later time and that seemed to annoy her more. staff here is really nice. evan, juddah, and devon are all great. the outside bar is a really nice vibe. the wing deals on thursdays are tough to beat. really enjoy the lemon pepper and parmesan garlic. really solid beer selection too. sometimes it takes longer to get food when it's busy but, that comes with any sports bar. read more

My mum and I went there to have dinner together. We waited 1hr to be seated when 2 families had walked in and got seated immediately. Then they took 30min to get my mum a margarita. We waited 55min for my mums good to come. We didn't see our waitress so we waited until she came out. She came out with our food but we were in a rush so we told her we didn't want it. The first time there was a group of 4 employees who blatantly ignored us, and the second time we waited for 10 minutes before the couple waiting in front of us left very upset because no one greeted them. Where do I begin? I know it was 10:00 pm but that does not explain the 15 min wait to be seated, the next 10 mins of aimlessly sitting at the table not getting waited on. We finally got drinks and placed our order. When we finally got our food, it was midnight and things really went downhill from here. We were rushed to eat so they could close the dining room. Wow, this Buffalo Wild Wings (BWWs) is awesome!! we are "Out-of-Townes" and came to this BWWs for the game (Patriots and Browns). Firstly, we love BWWs. This one, however, has a different lay out (much better, very open and inviting). Secondly, the staff is outstanding and very accommodating. The bar tender Colleen was very knowledgeable about the beers. She termed herself as a "Beer Snob" and gave us all kinds of information on the local brews (truth be told, she was a lot more friendly then snobbish.... lol). She mixed an IPA with a Stout, believe it or not it was excellent. Also, we had a party of 6, so Brandon the manager was able to get us a great table before the game and the impending crowd. Food is good, but service is lacking, especially if you want something delivered. Even though they advertise "delivery", you don't know that it is Door Dash, and not Buffalo Wild Wings that is going to deliver. However, when I received my order, the bag with the food was sealed with a large piece of tape. There were no tears in the bag, but an item was missing from my order, and I was charged for it on my receipt. When I called BWW about it, they said I would need to contact Door Dash and get reimbursed from them. That makes no sense. BWW filled the order, placed the items in the bag and sealed it. Why would Door Dash be responsible for the missing item? They only picked it up and delievered it. BWW said I could come down to the store and they would give me the item. I said no, I was not going to drive 10 mi. round trip for that. They did offer me a free item on my next order, but I told them no, that I didn't know when I would be ordering again, or IF I would be ordering again. So, if you place an order with BWW for delivery, don't let the driver get away before you check it and make sure you have everything. read more

When I go out to dinner, I want to eat with my companions, not 25 minutes later which is when my food arrived. Server nowhere to be seen for most of our visit so couldn't even ask the status of my meal. Since it took so long to bring my food and I had to leave, I was offered to take my food to go - if I wanted take out, I would have ordered take out. Since the server was absent, tried to pay the bill and get change from another employee who was the host and couldn't take care of the bill. This visit was so much worse then the last. Our last visit was good but the one before that was a disaster. Service was bad to mediocre, well, just bad... The salad I ordered was incorrect when delivered. Not missing an item or two, the salad was not what I ordered. I spent time always looking for our server as he was never around to get the things we needed. I had to approach him and the manager at the bar to get silverware & napkins. The manager seemed to be glued to the TV and not watching the floor.
