This time, I was looking for Sabres playoff clothing and gear. Don't get me wrong, they have all Buffalo based teams and lots of local Buffalo stuff. The people working were very nice, both greeting when you enter and thanking you when you leave with a robust "Go Sabres". I settled on some Sabres earrings and a sweatshirt for some gifts as well as a hoodie for myself. The pricing here is affordable, unlike some of their competitors. If you're looking for something local and Buffalo themed, stop in, there's plenty of options that won't break the bank.

I really appreciated the variety in addition to the fact the store is pretty much set up like a holiday market with various vendors creating gifts/products and the store selling them. I stopped in to check the store out and do some browsing but did not make any purchases and was not greeted or helped by any of the employees so I cannot speak to the service too much. In terms of value, I thought the majority of the prices were reasonable and the DIY/homemade component of many of the products just improved the value! If you have a Buffalover in your life, consider stopping at the Totally Buffalo Store to pick out a gift they'll be sure to appreciate!

I was holding my husband's hat (which he just bought at the stand upstairs) and he was looking for a jersey. She came over to us and just stood there staring, kept looking at my hands as If I was stealing the hat he had just purchased or something. She didn't say a word just stood there for a good 5 min. Finally, she chimed in when he was trying on a jersey and said that one's good. Mind you the store was packed w at least a few hundred more people she can walk around to after I already told her we were good, she still just stood there and stared. I was so pissed off I should have said something right there, but our kids were with us. She was definitely racial profiling- and its a shame bc we are both very well put together and have never stolen anything in our lives--he didn't deserve that.

It is open again, but only for a few specific sandwiches. And I usually visit the Overstock Store while there, but discovered this week that their hours are now only 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Wednesday through Saturday. I will adjust my visits accordingly, because I never know what I might find there. In the past I have bought a comforter for my bed, curtains for a kitchen window, a set of glasses, and a few empty cigar boxes. I've been tempted by some automotive products, and an occasional stool or plant stand. Just have to find out for yourself if there is a deal waiting with your name on it. The trading post also has clothing and jewelry and other gift possibilities, many leather goods. And chocolate. There is also a small Native art museum. But it also looked darkened as was the Overstock store. Possibly it is open same days and hours as Overstock. Free to explore when it is open.
