This time, I was looking for Sabres playoff clothing and gear. Don't get me wrong, they have all Buffalo based teams and lots of local Buffalo stuff. The people working were very nice, both greeting when you enter and thanking you when you leave with a robust "Go Sabres". I settled on some Sabres earrings and a sweatshirt for some gifts as well as a hoodie for myself. The pricing here is affordable, unlike some of their competitors. If you're looking for something local and Buffalo themed, stop in, there's plenty of options that won't break the bank.

I felt like I was on a transformational journey back into time with an incredibly upbeat and fun tourist guide who was working the counter on the day of our visit. I had discovered these guys on Instagram so I was longing to get inside the four walls where Buffalo Bills' players have shopped. I wanted my memory bank to be over-flooded with positive vibes and that is exactly what happened! I have never touched shoes priced as high as some of the shoes on sale here but I also discovered jackets I had worn as a kid that were in mint condition calling out to me (If I needed a winter jacket I am sure I would have walked out with one of this super array of memories!). The Christmas/Hanukkah season is coming soon and there are always birthdays or just treat yourself days or if you are just looking for an upbeat hour of time investment here's a great option. Just a word to the wise ... if you are looking for shoes/sneakers make sure your bank account can handle the cost of some of America's hottest shoes (The guy told me that they had recently sold a pair of Jordans for more than $2K! Thank goodness the Kanye West shoes weren't my size.).

My son wanted to…read morepurchase two awards that needed to be designed from scratch for the coaches of one of his Niagara Wheatfield High School teams. Barb Sefried, the owner, and her crew were all very helpful and patient with the many questions from both my son and me. Several of the Niagara Sports Awards staff took a lot of time over several meetings and phone calls to look through numerous awards to decide which ones would work best. They actually helped us to piece together two trophies to make them into one awesome award. They also worked with us to determine what was going to be said on the awards and how the wording would be best presented. We ended up, per their recommendations, with two trophies that represented exactly what my son was seeking to achieve. Each award was unique in and of itself. However, each was also unique as to each of the coaches to whom they were given. The recipients were thrilled with their respective awards in both their message and appearance. Bonus; the trophies were very reasonably priced even after all that work. Extra bonus, you will never meet a friendlier, kinder, more energetic person than Barb. All of the Niagara Sports Awards associates were very nice people and knew their business very well. Still, Barb Sefried is the type of person you want to do business with because she makes it fun. At least she did for us.

One of the things that I love is that they have clothing for both straight size and plus size (which is extremely uncommon, especially in boutiques). They also have a nice selection of Buffalo and Buffalo Bills themed items including hair accessories, earrings and shirts! What a great mix of items! The prices are also very reasonable, especially for a boutique. Service was amazing and the fitting rooms were cutely decorated. They even had a sale section which had a substantial discount on certain items. A wonderful local shop that everyone should support!

After the pandemic I really got into buying and selling vintage decor - and I'll never forget, one of my first estate sale escapades after starting that venture, I came across the guys from Queen City Vintage. They told us they had been there to sign up for the sale at 6am, and had thoroughly swept up most of the sweet vintage Buffalo Bills gear at that sale. This included things like pullovers, hats, and some other merch. After hearing what they spent, and what they sold the stuff for, I had to admit I was thoroughly impressed. The amount of dedication they have to obtaining these items to sell is seriously admirable. It honestly inspired me to go far with my own buying and selling. Flash forward to a few weeks ago, I visited the store for the very first time. They were having a huge vintage Buffalo Bills sale at the shop in honor of the home opener. I was the first person in line, getting there at about 8am to wait until 11am for the shop to open. One of the guys asks me what I had come to the store to shop for, and I told them about the vintage Tweety Bird pullover that they'd posted on their Instagram a few days before, something I'd been looking for for a very long time (in honor of the one my mother once owned). They promised to make sure the one I wanted was on the rack for me when they finally opened the store. More respect earned. So yeah, these guys are genuinely fantastic. Their selection of vintage items (not just Bills) is pretty incredible, and all of their stuff is in such awesome condition that it's all basically deadstock. I totally recommend visiting their shop at least once, and following them on social media, as they're always posting stuff online too that typically sells out before they can even put them on the shelves at the store. And yes, I am thoroughly enjoying my Bills Tweety pullover as I write this. And my vintage Zubaz. Go Bills!
