Wow, I could not have been more wrong. Despite the very clear fact that I was not going to be spending thousands of dollars, I was assigned to stylist PAIGE who immediately gave me her undivided attention and was focused on finding exactly what I wanted - and let me tell you, I am very picky when it comes to dresses. Paige and AMANDA practically forced me to try on a few different dresses even those I thought I would not like. They really are the experts, because they found a great dress for me and I fully trusted their opinions. I had so much fun with them through the whole process. I truly felt like a valued customer despite not spending as much money as some brides. Thank you Paige and Amanda, you rock!!!

By far the worst experience of my life…read more We started late, and while the girl helping me seemed nice at first, her attitude quickly shifted. As the night went on, she became visibly annoyed whenever my friends asked questions about other dresses in the store. After I tried on my last dress, one of my friends asked about another option, and another sales rep showed her a gown. Instead of being professional, she angrily snapped "no" in a whisper, clearly signaling to rush us out of there. No offense, but that is terrible customer service. I refuse to spend money on a wedding dress somewhere that treats people this way. She then looked at me and bluntly said my time was up -- even though my appointment had started late. It was 6:58, and she claimed the store was closing, but their own door clearly says they close at 7:30. The whole environment was unwelcoming compared to other bridal shops. No one smiled, no warmth, no excitement -- which is the bare minimum you'd expect during such a special moment. Because of this experience, I will absolutely refrain from doing any business with them and will tell others about how poorly they treat customers. Thankfully, I stayed polite and calm, because I can only imagine how badly they'd react if someone had actually been a "bridezilla."

Over a decade ago, I used to visit Buffalo and the surrounding area often. I'd frequent…read moreWilliamsville a lot, especially this Kohl's. This store was my introduction to the chain and Kohl's cash. Last month, my original plan was to stay in Buffalo. I changed my mind and ended up in Niagara Falls for the first time. However, I had placed an order for pickup at this store, to stroll down memory lane and take advantage of a sale on a pair of Vans sneakers. Sure, I could have found a closer Kohl's, but I wanted to return to where my love for this chain started. My drive was pleasant after work on a Monday evening. It felt the same. I pulled into the parking lot, and was happy to see this store was still alive and kicking. The difference was that Sephora wasn't a part of this Kohl's back then. It was my first time picking up an order here, which was also new to me at this store. I walked in and noticed how clean it was. Spring and gardening merchandise greeted me. It was cheerful and inviting. There were signs pointing me to the washroom and the self-pickup order area. The former seemed like a good idea. The powder area (seems so dated as a term, but it's what I'm going to call it) was pretty, with a flower arrangement in front of a large mirror. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. It was clean. No complaints. I headed over to the self-pickup order area. The process is to find your e-mail indicating that your Kohl's order is ready. You click a link in the message and follow the steps where you say that you're at the store. You then get a pickup spot number to fetch your order. Mine was 265. It clearly had my name labelled on the paper bag with handles. I was happy. I didn't buy anything on top of my pickup order. I did enjoy browsing around to check out fashion trends. I am more of a classic person when it comes to clothing. However, I saw shorter jackets with large pockets being trendy. I probably have a couple of jackets at home that I can pull out and look equally as trendy for a brief moment... haha! I make it a habit to check out purses. I liked everything from floral prints, to heart-shaped purses. The bedroom decor section was a lot of fun. I liked seeing clouds and rainbows as neat pieces. There was a rainbow abacus that was cool, but was sort of broken. I fixed it by placing the metal arc back into a socket in the wooden base. If it weren't that messed up, I would have bought it because it was cool and geeky. It was wonderful returning to this store. I am pleased that it's still standing. It was great shopping here again. The store isn't perfect, but there aren't a ton of great options for plus clothes. The offerings can be hit or miss, but when they are a hit, they are a big hit for me. I was searching high and low for real dress pants. This is only of the only places I can find pants that have any actual weight to them. Most dress pants I try in other stores are super thin and you can see the outline of the pockets right through the leg. They also have a lot of horrible pants with have no buttons or zippers - just elastic waist weirdness that I could never wear to work. I have just discovered they have a great shoe selection. I have wide feet and I like classic pumps and boots and they have both. None of their boots are real leather, which I think is great. I do have an hour glass figure and I have found nice things here, but I have the opposite experience of Lindsay. I think the tops tend to be too shapeless and too roomy in the midsection. I've gotten a couple suit jackets here, but I can't count on finding one any time I walk in the store. If I find a great jacket, it could be a year or two before they have another one I want to buy. One of the biggest cons for LB is that they seem to carry a very limited number of each size and when it's gone, it's gone, and the staff will just tell you to look for it online. This stuff is more expensive than your average store and for a lot of what they have, it's not worth it. However, they do have some nice pieces that are worth the expense.

So the shops at the Boulevard are extremely busy and extremely difficult to get into and Nigeria Falls Boulevard (I meant Niagara but the traffic is as bad as Lagos Nigeria) (OK exaggeration) (not by much) (OK by much) is a total mess, so if you can come around on North Bailey then it's probably better for you to come that way. This particular store has some pretty cool designer stuff and while it is expensive it can be good for tall women, for sexy lingerie, or if you shop plus size, or all kinds of stuff. Bae's view: LB has nice clothes for women. Not every clothing store has business type clothes over a certain size. This store also has nice lingerie. My friend really likes their tops. Much better than she likes shopping at Tops. I'm glad I don't live in Buffalo because I'd write bad reviews of Tops like Fox does!

Last night I was desperately searching the internet for a bikini. It's a constant struggle finding a bikini top that properly supports and gives structure to my "girls". Victoria's Secret is usually my best bet, but they've cut back on their swimwear and also a lot of them expose too much cleavage. I picked a bikini off Ashley's site and went to pick it up today. I want to say, top notch customer service here! Very friendly staff, and adequately staffed to keep up with helping all customers. Need help in the fitting room? Just crack your door open and they will help. I loveddddd the bikini I order. It was so beautiful! But once again the top didn't do me justice. One of the girls tried to help me. She had me try hooking the straps and they sell inserts there too. But it just didn't work out. Fortunately, I found another bikini that was just perfect!! In addition to struggling with tops, I needed something to match a sheer pink and yellow 2 piece cover up and I found this beautiful scalloped bikini that was of the best structure. It held my girls just right without exposing much cleavage and was just really adorable and I'm so excited to wear it. The manager or owner (not sure but I know she was in charge) was really nice and helpful as well. I actually stopped here twice in one day and both experiences were wonderful! I'm so happy I found a great bikini for my upcoming vacation. BTW they have tonnsss of swimwear, bras, panties, undergarment accessories, robes, PJs and coverups and a few other things. The prices are on the upside, but I know at least with my bikini I trust its quality was surely worth it. TIP: They are most stocked with swimwear around April/May!

While the staff here are nice and knowledgeable about the products they stock, the issue is that…read morethe store is very selective in what they choose to stock and have changed to cater more to standard fitting bras/swimwear rather than those for women with non-standard sizes. I went in seeking a swimsuit that had the coverage of a bra, so I could feel comfortable on vacation. I wanted a one-piece or tankini swimsuit with an underwire, bra-style band, and padded cups (not just flimsy inserts that provide no support or lift) that would provide nipple coverage. They did not have a single option that fit these requirements. Instead, I was given swimsuits that didn't even have an underwire and/or bra-style band and told I would be "surprised by the level of support they had." The bathing suits provided absolutely no support, which anyone could have guessed.... I wanted a bathing suit top with at least some padded nipple coverage (which feels like common sense for bathing suits and being in and out of the water!!) and the fitter seemed genuinely surprised that I cared about that. Every time I go, I have the same issue. I don't understand why they refuse to stock more than a handful of padded bras or padded swimsuits that provide nipple coverage and don't have countless seams showing through my t-shirt. There's no way that I'm the only customer that wants additional coverage and doesn't want the seams from cupless bras (and my nipples!) showing through my shirt. I'm not even looking for cute prints or colors, just a simple bra or bathing suit in speciality sizing that provides sufficient support and coverage. This feels like something many women would also want, and it's very disappointing that the store seems to refuse to carry any significant stock that fills those criteria. The fitter claimed they didn't have the ability to stock the types of swimsuits I was looking for, but looking around at the displays filled strapless bikinis and non-bra related goods like clothing and bags, it seems like they are choosing to prioritize non-bra items and standard sizes rather than the specialty bra sizes and fuller coverage items that many women in WNY depend on. It feels like every time I leave this store, I leave disappointed because their stock of speciality sizes is so limited in its variety and level of support/coverage. If you're dependent on speciality or non-department store sizing and especially if you have low volume breasts, it's very difficult to recommend this store, even though I wish I could. We need better specialty sizing bra options in Buffalo.
