My boyfriend and I were following the Kings to Toronto and Montreal by way of Boston, so we thought it was a good idea to make a pitstop in Buffalo. I started a tradition of gifting my boyfriend NHL pint glasses of the cities I'd traveled to (with hockey teams) and for some unknown reason, we'd never been to the Sabres arena. We parked in the structure right outside of KeyBank Arena, which was free for the first hour. Black and white photos of players were peppered throughout the structure, making it an easy way to remember what floor you parked on. The store is located on the bottom floor of KeyBank. The selection of merchandise is impressive. It was cool seeing some Hasek gear and there was even a small section of jerseys from opposing teams. There were some really adorable beanies and I spent a solid minute trying to justify the purchase, but I know better than to buy more than I need. Anything more than a collector cup is a curse (lesson learned) Show your Blue Shield insurance card at checkout for a 10% discount.

This is a great place to go if you like sports, collect trading cards, or need any great gifts…read more They really have everything from sports cards to trading card games on one side of the store, and then sports merchandise like jerseys and clothing on the other side. I went in to browse around and see if anything sounded good before the start of the football season. That was a mistake for my wallet because everything looked like I needed it. They do a great job of keeping everything organized here. Sabres and Bills stuff in different sections, sports cards and trading cards broken down into different spots on the other side. They also have so much room for the events that they hold here. Along with the amount of product they have, they also have some cool pop culture collectibles on display which makes the whole place have a fun feel. Service here is good. Sometimes the value is a little high. Some markups on trading cards could be a little lower but oh well, that's the sign of the times I guess. Overall, if you need a gift or just looking for yourself, D&A's is the place to go!

I bought the item and a day or two later they list another one at a higher price and won't honor the old price. Then I buy the item and a day or two later list another raising the price again. They claimed to only have 1 yet in the past 30 days I've ordered 7 of them and there's currently another one listed on their website. Of course they raised the price 10% after waiting 25 hours to post it on the site. And of course they can't price match it because it's not within 24 hours. (The fact that they took more than 24 hours to post it on their site doesn't matter) My account rep said they'd price match a price within the last 24 hours. They take 25-26 hours to post another item in stock to get around that price matching. Very sketchy and slimy sales team. Reflects poorly on the owners and the company as a whole. I gave them 2 stars simply because the shipping has been quick.

I first went to Roy several years ago, and I ended up buying a significant amount of tackle from him for one simple reason: he's honest and sincere. There's no sales pitch, no gimmicks, and no pressure. He tells you what works, what doesn't, and why. That kind of integrity is rare these days, and it keeps people coming back. The inventory isn't massive, but that's actually part of the strength of the store. If you fish for walleye or troll for salmon, you'll find some very good, unique gear that you won't see everywhere else. Everything on the shelves has a purpose. Prices are reasonable, and the service is truly exceptional. When you ask for advice, you're not getting guesses--you're getting experience. Where Nick's Sporting Goods truly stands apart is archery. If you're an archer or into archery hunting, it's hard to imagine a better shop. Roy is an expert and a genuine archery enthusiast, and it shows in the quality of guidance and setup he provides. If you're passionate about fishing--especially walleye and salmon trolling--or serious about archery and bowhunting, this store is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended.
