I really want to like this place, because it is much faster than buffalo wild wings, but I just dont. Ive tried serval times and the boneless wings (I know, I know, that's just chicken nuggets, but my kid likes them) were way overcooked and the fried pickels were just not good. My mom's salad was the best thing at the table and we all wished we had been healthier like her and ordered that (well except for the kid). So I guess I'll go back to buffalo wild wings and wait for their stupid slow service, but tasty wings. Maybe if you get real wings they will be better, but those boneless ones were just terrible. And when the bill came it was more expensive than buffalo wild wings for basically the same thing we always get. They still get 3 solid stars for the better service though. Asked for a mixed drink menu... was told they didn't have any. Was advised I could order whatever I wanted and they would make it. So I ordered a mojito, was told they don't have any mint... asked for a margarita, was told they don't have any mix... asked for a Madra, was told they only make those when they are on special.... hmmmmmm??? I have not been there in a long while and though we would give them another chance. The wait staff was very friendly and had no issues. We were seated in the little enclosed off area which was fine, till they sat down 20 high school young adults. While they were fine they were extremely loud in that small place and we could not hear each other talk at all. The wings were good if a little pricey and only allowed one flavor per 10 wings. The pizza was sub par. The crust tasted frozen and had not much flavor. On par with Cici's and Little Ceasars, but they charge 11 dollars for a 12" pie, while blaze charges 5.50 for a 11" pizza that tastes so much better. Ordered take out wings, service was good. Later found our wing flavors were mixed up (or so we thought), they tasted nothing like what was ordered. They weren't hot and when we called the manager to inform them of the mix up they said "that's the flavor like it or not you, bought it". Quite a rude response after paying $17 for a meal. My family and I had dinner here 7/6/17. They talk about no whining about the sauce you choose but then the chart used to order is not even right. In general the food was ok, but numerous other issues are the reason for 2 stars. Took close to 10 minutes for a server to come to the table after being seated - and on a slow night (less than a 3rd of the tables full just 12 days before Christmas at White Oak). Got overcharged for a side of chips (was supposed to come with the entree, but manager and/or server failed to address it on the bill after being made aware). The au jus for the roast beef sandwich was more salty than the Arby's version, and the queso with the fish tacos was so salty it wasn't even edible. The wings were fine, but I've had better at numerous places. It's unfortunate - it was my first time trying Buffalo Brothers. But I've had better meals at fast food restaurants for half the price. I don't know what has taken me so long coming to Buffalo Brothers at White Oak. Don't mess with Ale House nor Buffalo Wild Wings. The service was great, we ordered mozzarella cheese appetizer and it was soo good and different because it came out like an entire piece of fried cheese block sitting on a bed of tomato sauce with a side piece of tomato. The flavor on the crust of the mozzarella was delicious. We also ordered wings. We got the spicy parm and spicy lemon. Both we perfect heat and flavor. The Capital Blvd location was my go-to for football season and I was excited for Garner's to open! But, this one seems so much different, in a bad way. While I can't say a bad thing about any service or food at Capital, the pizza crust here seemed very store bought/frozen, therefore ended up overcooked. The toppings on the poppers pizza are still ridiculously awesome, but the dry, crunchy crust about ruined it. By looking around, it almost seemed like they were overstaffed judging by the number of servers standing around doing nothing but joking with each other, yet it still took a while to get someone's attention. And I know it's a sports bar, and I'm not expecting white table cloths and a string quartet, but it has a "sloppy" vibe, from the servers' appearances to bad music to drunk guys playing video games. I will be happy to drive to one of the other locations for food and service I KNOW is better and more consistent. read more

If I was solely judging this place based on food and beer selection, I would give it 5 stars. I really like the food, and the variety of beer is better than the location at Capital Blvd. But the service is what brings my rating down to a 2. It's horrible! We've been to this place like 10 times, and only 1 of those times had acceptable service. Note: acceptable, not exceptional. But we were so stunned to get decent service that my husband actually thanked the server that night. Here is a breakdown of why the service is bad: 1) Servers would sometimes just disappear and never come back to check on us. 2) Servers seem very unknowledgable of beers. If you're going to work around alcohol, it would be nice to have some knowledge of beer types, the breweries and what your specials are. 3) Servers have sometimes tried to deliver food to our table after it was obvious that we had our food. 4) Lack of communication between bar and staff means that beer menus don't get updated. I guess our first contact with this place should have clued us in that something was amiss with the service. My husband called to inquire about getting a take-out order a few weeks after they opened. He was quickly dismissed, being told they don't take call-in orders. Huh? You will turn down take-out order business? I have no idea how you'll stay in business for too long. read more

First, let's talk value. I have never eaten at a restaurant that didn't include a side with your $14.50 10 piece wings. Instead you pay $3 for a side of fries that isn't all that big. The shrimp were $20 with no side. Now let's talk quality of food. The fries were not hot, more like lukewarm. I' m pretty sure the shrimp were already fried and when I ordered them they were reheated in the teriyaki sauce because the outside of the shrimp were warm, not hot, and the shrimp were lukewarm. The atmosphere was nice when we arrived around 6:15pm. It was quiet and not too busy. By the time we left around 7pm the noise level had risen three fold and the place had started to hum. The best part of our visit was our server, Mikaela W. She listened to and answered our questions as first timers. She was patient and attentive. I usually come here on Friday nights and watch basketball. Order 4 or 5 drinks and a few appetizers. Tonight will probably be the last time due to the service. Our waitress suggested a drink for my wife, and without my wife's consent the drink was brought to our table. My wife and I gave it a try and it wasn't good. So wife asked the waitress to take it back and just give her sprite. The manager comes to our table and says that once the drink is ordered we have to keep it and pay for it. That's the policy says the manager which isn't posted anywhere. I tell the manager we never really ordered the drink, and her response after she rolled her eyes a few times was, you didn't tell her no you didn't want the drink. Why lose a repeat customer over $7.50. If I were to order a pizza and it was burnt would you expect me to pay for it, especially if I didn't order in the first place. I was here about an hour ago and it was PACKED!! I was told that the wait was going to be 20-30 mins (it was 5!!) Then my daughter's and I were seated. I was very busy and had a busy day in general. Most often the food is good, I have had some great servers, but I witnessed on more than one occasion a female manager correct her staff or argue with them in front of customers, I am a manager and that is very unprofessional, i will no longer return to your establishment and i was with co workers so you will lose a lot of business as i will tell others. Had a work lunch here today. Place was nearly empty (maybe 6 tables filled) but it still took quite a while for service. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. The cheesy bread was to die for good. The chicken salad salad though . . . I just couldn't eat it folks. When I'm in a sports bar I don't expect my chicken salad to be healthy and I'm good with that. What I got was chicken salad so dry I could tell it by just looking at it. Then I tasted it to find huge chunks of apples and nuts - which if you are the type of person who likes that then go for it, but I was hoping for an unadulterated, mayo filled, tasty chicken salad - this was bland and came closer to being a fruit salad than a chicken salad. The management was kind enough to comp my bill even though I offered to still pay in full. Please don't let this put you off on this establishment, their wraps are delicious and I'm sure many other of their items are. The staff is pleasant. The place is clean and decorated well. We decided to give Buffalo Brothers a try on a Saturday night. After waiting about 30 minutes, we were seated. Our server, who never shared her name, got our drinks, took our order, then promptly disappeared, not to be seen again until I was almost finished with my meal. I had the prime rib on garlic bread. It was served barely warm, with the onion straws cold and limp. My sandwich was also served with a small container of what I assume was supposed to be au jus, but just tasted like reconstituted beef bouillon cube. The memphis mac was the highlight of my meal and wasn't bad, but came with a $1.99 upcharge. My wife tried the $9.79 taco salad, which might have been topped with 2oz of chicken on a skimpy serving of lettuce. The sun dried tomato tortilla shell was very obviously stale and inedible. When our server eventually reappeared, she finally refilled my drink, then asked if we wanted separate checks (huh?). It was pretty obvious that she really didn't care whether we enjoyed our meal or not. After she returned to drop off the credit card receipt, she walked away never bothering to say "thank you" or "come again". Pre-COVID, we ate there often and always enjoyed it. This time we ordered takeout for pickup. Ordered 40 wings, 10 each with 4 different sauces. Got them home... boxes were not labeled. But worse... there was about a tablespoon of sauce in the bottom of each box, with 10 dry wings dropped on top! There was NO WAY to remotely get enough sauce onto each wing! Great wings, but needs some service help. Some of the servers looked a little lost and we weren't even offered chips or crackers to hold our kids over when they accidentally dropped our pizza and had to remake it. When we asked for some we were simply told that the pizza would be ready soon. The bathrooms were very nice, but it was apparent that the urinals hadn't been cleaned recently, if ever. We had a 20 minute wait even though there were several open tables, so it seemed to us like the issues were training based. Could be a good hang out but definitely needs some fine tuning. read more

It was 7:30pm on a Saturday and we were seated immediately and had great service. The pasta salad was really good, and so was the pimento burger. The fries left a little to be desired, and the American cheese on the pimento burger was too much cheese for my taste, but otherwise everything was really good and I'm glad we came back. read more

A group of us went here for a co-workers birthday and the service was great but 4 out of 5 of us got sick from eating the mozzarella cheese. 4 out of 5 ate the cheese and had different entrees but we are horribly sick and it started soon as we left the restaurant.
