The vibe is chill but energetic. At about 6:30pm, it was pretty packed. I loved that even the busy bartenders were aware of new patrons coming in the doors. One even seated a table from behind the bar! Bonus points for service! This is a 4 1/2-star review --- leaning 5. We ordered takeout to take to some friends' BYOF wine bar, so I'll look for my 5-star experience when we return soon in person! Food: We shared some seriously awesome ceviche. I was a bit alarmed at the $16 price tag, but it was totally worth it. There's a lot of shrimp with little filler. The seafood was plump with citrusy goodness - not too "cooked" - and packed a bit of heat, which hubs & I love. The enchiladas y mole was GREAT!! I'd prefer dark meat chicken, but props for the abundance of white meat! The mole was soooooo flavorful - def some heat mixed with a great cinnamony zing. The rice & black beans were really good. The guac y chips was so fresh and flavorful. (PS - that is one weird "coffee cup" style styrofoam takeout cup for the guac! Boo!!) The tomatillo salsa was not so bueno. Def wanna try the roja & the other type of salsa (forgot the flavor). Cannot wait to return!!!!

I also enjoyed the mezcal mule even though I'm not a huge fan of carbonated drinks. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chipotle chicken, the rice, refried beans, and chicken mixed together amazingly and the entire dish was packed with flavor. The shrimp ceviche was also solid and quite large for the price. Finally, the churros were great, a bit sweet for me but the churro and the whipped cream go together nicely to create a joyous experience. Potentially even better than the food are the vibes and service, all of the waiters and owners are super nice and willing to interact with customers, definitely recommend coming here with a couple of friends and just enjoy the overall experience with great food! 4.9/5

I used to love getting the chimichangas or tacos on taco Tuesday. I hope they can work on the recipes again and bring that wonderful flavor. They once had back.

I came back many hours later to claim a sweater I'd left behind and found her at the end of a double shift, still just as cheerful and friendly. The seasonal pineapple coconut margarita was to die for. I'm going to have to fight hard to not just go back there every day of my visit!

They have a good amount of options for gluten free people and that's what we were looking for. They were slammed packed for Cinco De Mayo though so it was a good thing that they had all that air flow or it would have been super hot. Upon going to the host station we were told 45 minutes to an hour wait. We were okay with it since we dealt with the terrible food at the place before. We waited about 45 minutes for our margaritas after I had already waited 20 minutes at the bar for a drink. We got waited by the hostess and she was very friendly. It wasn't her fault EVERYTHING took forever to come. My son got the ribs and he said they were amazing. We got some wings and the Mexican Ceasar Salad. Both were really good. If you don't like spicy I highly recommend NOT getting the wings. I love buffalo wings though so I thought they were super yummy. I was not the biggest fan of their margaritas but my boyfriend loved them. Im sure if we went on a normal day it would be a great place with some chill vibes. It was already WAYYYY better than the previous place we went. Can't wait yo go back!

Ambiance is super cozy - low lighting, tropical vibe decor. Our server was great. We got the loaded papas fritas and tres apertivos as appetizers. The fries could have been a little crispier but I'm sure all the sauce contributed to the texture. All the dips were excellent, especially the mushroom queso. Then came the main course. I went out on a limb. At home I always cook chicken. It's in constant rotation.... So I decided to order the carne asada and treat myself. It was not a treat, and I should have gone with my tried and true. The portion was very small for the price. And the meat was VERY dry. I had my husband try it as well and he agreed. His shrimp tacos however were excellent. Our drinks were also very good. We ordered the Manzanita and the Rosalina. Awesome flavors - order the manzanita when you're in the depths of winter and missing that crisp autumn air. If my main course would have been better there would have been more stars. But for that price and small of a portion? The meat better be good.

The margaritas were great, especially for the price! We ordered the queso, birria tacos, and the carne asada. The queso was better than expected, the birria was just the right amount of spicy and crispy, very good. The carne asada was also super tasty but I think it is the most expensive thing on the menu and I think I would order something else next time, not because it wasn't good but it was a little pricey. All said and done I think it's a very cool spot with good drinks and food that is probably a little over priced. If you navigate the menu you can definitely come out of there with an A++ meal and a fun time!

The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen."
