In particular, Eric in sales is without a doubt my favorite salesman I've ever dealt with about a motorcycle. He's just great to work with, very helpful and thoughtful in his approach to helping select and finalize falling in love with and acquiring a new two-wheeled piece of beauty and joy. Called 'em up and was assured that'd be easily doable. Had the bike towed there so they could assess it, determine what all would need to be done, and provide a cost estimate. The assessment took a little while (a couple of weeks), but once they'd determined that, they got the repairs/replacements done in under a week! Wow! The price was also incredibly fair. When I stopped in to pick her back up, I finally got to meet the folks and see the shop, and I gotta say, it's clear these folks like bikes and like working on bikes. This is their jam. The employees are friendly and helpful and their hands are stained with grease-- exactly who you want working on your vehicular baby! She's been purring perfectly ever since for all my zooming about town. The shop decor is fun too-- they've got a pinball machine on free play if you need to kill some time while you wait. On my way to the bathroom I saw they even have some arcade-style motorcycle SEGA games! They have merch for sale like t-shirts. Bathroom is immaculately clean for a shop toilet. Impressive. If you're in need of a motorcycle repair, trust these folks with it!!

He handled it perfectly assuring me he would address it and take care of it and thanking me for bringing it to his attention. A textbook example of how to handle things. Handled properly a problem can be turned into a positive experience and interaction with the client. Well done! I then went to the clothing department searching for a specific shirt that was showing sold out and discontinued on the Harley website. I had called Harley Davidson.com checking to see if there was any way possible it was still available and  no luck (It matched the colors of my new bike and I really wanted it). Tanya in your clothing department noticed I liked a particular style of shirt and said she would make me aware of other shirts that come in matching that style in the future. She and I talked and I explained my "dilemma". She did a computer search of dealerships showing that exact same shirt in stock. I did have to make a few calls but was able to find that shirt that I REALLY wanted. It made my day! Thanks for your assistance! I then went to talk with Frank in parts about my bike I just dropped off for a stage 4 kit install. He made me aware of some new parts/products I might be interested in since the bike was going to be getting worked on anyway. He explained to me the benefits/advantages of the newer/better performing parts that just became available in contrast to what I currently have. He also helped me with a return. I really liked that he was not trying to "hard sell" me; just educate me on the advantages. People do like to buy things but don't like to be "sold". He has also gone the "extra mile" for me finding other dealerships that had a product I ordered that was on backorder. Thanks for all your assistance! Had it restored in Virginia over 10 years ago…read more Used to take it to a different shop, but eventually they refused to work on it for anything other than easy tune-ups. Had an oil leak at the cylinder head. Finally found Rathbone a couple of years ago. Trevor and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and told me what had to happen (engine had to come out to fix the seals in the head). Ordered a complete seal kit and replaced all the seals in the engine, cleaned and adjusted the carbs, tuned, etc. Great work. The bike has run like a watch. Starts right up, no leaks cold or hot.

The biggest reason their prices are reasonable is because they give you options at different price points so you can choose what fits your budget. Rocky is the one I usually deal with... he keeps me informed at every stage of the repairs and again, gives me options on how to keep proceeding; especially with the big repairs.
