The price they quoted me on the phone was just over half the price Central Texas Harley gave me.

Last Friday it failed three times. The first time was on a steep incline at the entrance to a parking garage of a building at which I had a job interview. I was stuck in place, and couldn't drive through the gate. The second time was on the way home on Mopac South, in stop-and-go traffic. After sitting in neutral, I couldn't push the pedal down to put the transmission back in gear. The third time was in the Whole Foods parking lot. I was able to push down the clutch pedal and start the car, but it was stuck in neutral. I told Cap's that the clutch problem was intermittent when I called this morning, and they asked me to drive down. The clutch worked on the way there. I took a cab home, which cost $40. They called in the afternoon and said they couldn't reproduce or find the problem, unsurprisingly, since the problem is intermittent and I was able to drive there. Since the issue has to be the clutch or transmission, I asked them to replace the clutch. The car's 27 years old, so having a new clutch would be worthwhile even if that didn't fix the problem. They refused, then the owner said they would do it and replace the throw-out bearing, if I signed a disclaimer stating the problem might not be fixed by by the new clutch and bearing. I said if that happened I'd just get a rebuilt transmission. However, when I spoke to their desk person again, he said they'd changed their minds and wouldn't replace the clutch. So, I'm at risk of again being stuck on a highway, on a steep incline, ..., and of being unable to commute to and from work. $80 for two cab rides for nothing. Very unhappy with their refusal to do the work I asked for, despite my willingness to sign any disclaimer they wished.

They are near a winery and there's a pizza shop and a arcade all within walking distance. The owner is pretty young guy, so you got to love young entrepreneurs. Of all the places for a person to start a business, he decided to start it here in Austin even though he is from houston. They will sell the sit down tricycle type of bike, it's actually called a TerraBike. I brought three bikes and he got them in quick, the pricing was great, comparable to other bike shops. I got great updates about my bike especially when a part had to be ordered and that's no fault of his, I just had to wait for the part to get here. I did see that there were other people that were here the same day of the grand opening like me so hopefully word is getting out. They also sell other items inside if you are interested in accessories for your bike. I saw a wide variety of bikes in there so it doesn't really matter what you have, if it is a cycle, I'm sure that he can work on it. Every time I come in here I seem to learn something new about a bicycle because this guy is doing something from scratch. It's cool to see a artist working at his art /craft.
