Once we dove in (oh, you utterly wretched Fremont, California paint!), I knew, for sure, that XPEL Austin was my jam! There are lots of great places in 512 that have equally great Tesla reviews, but something about XPEL Austin clarion-called me in, and I def made the right decision! At the risk of making this a novel, allow me to quickly paint the picture: Hubby and I headed to Baton Rouge for the first half of Spring Break, and the delightful Kristianna arranged for our fresh new Tesla to be delivered from our garage to XPEL's huge and modern place on Metric. I only had to add the designated driver, Johnathan, as an approved driver on my app, and, by the by, he got her there with my 99% safety score still intact! Thanks, dude! The service went above and beyond from there! Kristianna kept us totally informed throughout the process, Kristofer was a totally killer PPF maestro (we went for XPEL Ultimate Plus on the full front, plus rockers and pillars), and Ivan masterfully applied our tint (we went for XPEL Prime Plus in 30% on all windows, and clear XPEL Prime Plus on the huge windshield). I must admit that we occasionally peeked in on their work with Sentry Mode! Please don't judge! Lol! They were all truly excellent! It wasn't cheap. I was told that if it looked bad, it would be replaced at no cost (by the previous manager Kristianna Garcia who no longer works there). Since then, I have had quite a few dings. I'm not at the point where the whole thing needs to be replaced, so I didn't think I'd have a problem. I called and asked if I could possibly have a few little pieces that I could cut to try to fit over the open areas, and the person I talked to, said they couldn't do that, that I could come down and they would take a look at it. That's an hour or an hour and a half, just one way. I asked if the manager could could just mail me little pieces, and the manager had said no--and he said they couldn't do that. I even offered to send him a self addressed stamped envelope, and he declined. I told him I would not show those pieces to their competitors, and they still wouldn't agree to it. So I told them when I was finished, I was going to write a review, and they weren't going to like it. But it's the truth. What I think looks bad, they may look at it and say it didn't look bad. So it's relative? Again, all I am asking for is a few little scraps mailed to me. If you're going to have work done here, just think about it. If you have problems in the future, you may run into a bunch of excuses.

Brightside was fantastic…read more I have a Dodge Challenger and had a worn out vinyl wrap on my hood in desperate need of replacing. I also had a new rear vinyl race stripe to apply. I'd been to a couple places for estimates and they were quick to claim their shop could do it but would have to talk to "their guy" and get back to me. Obviously wraps weren't their specialty. Then, while asking around, Brightside got mentioned a couple times. I could tell immediately on the first consult and estimate with Alex and Evan, these guys are experts in the field. It was clear they knew the products and recommended PPF. It's more expensive but is so much more durable and lasts longer. Because it's harder to install, not everyone does it. Communication with the guys through the process was outstanding. Their customization artist even matched and cut the race stripe out of ppf instead of the cheap vinyl I'd brought. The owner was made aware of the situation and refuses to make it right. My boyfriend reached out to several shops in hopes of getting the repairs completed just to find out the damages that were made to the vehicle are worth thousands. This company was made aware of the situation and promised to make it right... then turned around and said "it's bad business to refund". The refund would've been $400. Which is WAY less than the actual cost of the damage. We would've been fine with the simple refund because that could've been put towards to repair. DO NOT go to this shop. This shop is unprofessional, unreliable, and honestly incompetent when it comes to proper customer service. HIGHLY suggest finding a better shop than this one. You've been warned! Previously reviewed on google as well and the business responded by disregarding my response due to me not "being present when the service was performed". When in fact I was there at the time of the car pick up and shook the hand of the owner. Once again this place is unprofessional in the way they handled not only our situation, but others just like it. It would've been fine if they just were honest and took accountability for their mistake.
