My '57 Oval
Rick P.

This review is long overdue... I have been looking for a good and honest mechanic out in the IE to work on my 1957 Volkswagen. Came across Bud's on Yelp and decided to take my bug in to get looked at. Took it in with a major oil leak, timing was off, it would stall, and was running extremely hot. All of these issues, and more we're all addressed and corrected at Bud's. I've owned this VW for nearly 15 years, and it has never run this good. Bud's will definitely be my choice for any future maintenance or repairs

My new baby will be well taken care of here :)

My family and I have been coming to Buds for over 15 years. Theyve taken care of two of my cars. I live downtown LA and still come here

In my last visit to a bigger chain nearly 3 months earlier, and they quoted me with a bunch of work that "all" needed to be done that would cost me well over $3k. Decided to give this place a shot, as it's down the street from my place and heard great reviews on Yelp. Jay was great and did a great job breaking everything down and reviewing next steps of what I could expect. After reviewing everything and taking my needs into account, he saves us over $1500 compared to what the big mechanic shop would charge us. Solid business and will definitely be taking my car to this shop for any big fixes or repairs.

I took my 2001 Toyota Sequoia here to get repaired after originally taking it to a Toyota…read moredealership that quoted me $7,500 for the repairs. That felt insane to me, so I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Auto Technik instead. I am SO glad I did. I first reached out to them through Yelp, then hopped on a phone call with them, and they were able to take my car in the very next day. After diagnosing it, we were all pretty shocked to find out that what the Toyota dealership said needed to be repaired had actually been misdiagnosed. Jay was able to figure out what was really going on simply by plugging into the car and properly reading the diagnostics. We were honestly appalled that the Toyota dealership hadn't caught it in the first place. So instead of spending $7,500 at the dealership and most likely STILL not fixing the actual problem, Auto Technik was able to properly diagnose and fix my Sequoia for around $1,500. Aside from saving me a ton of money, everyone here was just so nice and communicative with me throughout the entire process. I felt like they were honest with me, explained what was going on, and genuinely wanted to make sure the actual problem was fixed. I'm seriously so appreciative of Jay and everyone at Auto Technik. After this experience, I'm really glad I found a shop I feel like I can trust with my car. I wish them nothing but continued success!

If you are looking for a mechanic with genuine honesty and integrity, ask for Matthew at Top…read moreAlignment. I came in dealing with persistent brake pedal issues after another shop tried to push an expensive master cylinder replacement without a proper inspection. Matthew took the time to do things right. He test-drove my car, thoroughly inspected the pads, rotors, calipers, and master cylinder, and gave me straight answers. Instead of upselling me, he confirmed the major components were solid and recommended a cost-effective brake bleed to clear out trapped air first. He didn't manufacture false urgency, charged an fair price, and put my safety and best interest first. Finding a mechanic with this level of transparency is rare. Matthew has earned my respect and future business--highly recommended!

Their pricing was also very reasonable, but what I appreciated most was their honesty and willingness to work with me. I had put down a deposit for a wheel bearing, but after finding out that the repair would actually be covered under my vehicle's factory warranty, they worked with me to get my deposit back. That really says a lot about their integrity and commitment to doing right by their customers. I truly appreciate the great service and honesty. Thank you Matthew & B! I would definitely recommend Top Alignment to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reasonably priced shop!

Good customer service, but unfortunately they don't employ the right people for the job. I took my…read morecar in about a week ago for a tire repair/replacement because my tire pressure light was on. They took a look at it and about an hour later told me nothing was wrong and it was likely a sensitive/faulty sensor. Turns out my front right tire had a screw stuck in it! Not to mention that my tires were very low on tread, to the point where my current service provider claimed a repair wouldn't be possible under their warranty due to its hazards and needed to be outright replaced. The man working the counter was very nice and straightforward, but they hire BLIND mechanics. Included picture is what Firestone spotted. Please do better!

I brought my Mercedes Benz in for a coolant flush but before the service, the car was running normally with no overheating issue. After the work, the vehicle began overheating which happened on the freeway (had it towed to their Riverside shop) and I received a complimentary oil change. I returned because I noticed low coolant level on several occasions. I'm disappointed because a coolant flush should improve cooling reliability, not create overheating problems. I also incurred additional costs/time getting it fixed elsewhere. They refused to take responsibility. I can't recommend any Ramona Tires based on my experience.
