We had a great experience with Budget Blinds of Lewes. We had recently converted a screened in porch to a true 4-season room, but it is very bright out there. Krista helped us narrow down what we wanted and was able to get us some good prices on our 3-panel slider. The owner custom fit the valence boards. The blinds disappear behind them when retracted. We got the wifi enabled motor units and the owner helped us connect them to our home automation. We would definitely go with Budget Blinds of Lewes again and recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

We've had the same problem with our luminex blinds, they came to repair our blinds twice)with at least a two month wait each time the Budget blinds guy came and said if we continue to complain, we will be put at the bottom of the list for repairs. Tony Rementer is the best! I stopped by Budget Blinds today with my broken Levolor pleated shade, had no appointment, and Tony was able to look at the blind, assess the problem, and fix my issue. It took him well over an hour because the repair was very difficult, but he persevered and got the job done! Rarely do we experience this high level of customer service. The long (month+) delay between a fully paid order for a full house of blinds is just inexcusable. My order was not even placed with their warehouse until weeks after I ordered and paid in full for the shades/blinds and installation. Now , 5 weeks later, after much begging for info, my sales agent, Kim, admits to me my blinds are in the local warehouse, but I can't talk to anyone there about delivery and installation, because the warehouse guy is out of town. But she was able to talk to him and learn my blinds were ready and waiting! Her only defense is that she initially said delivery could take 4-6 weeks. Not a word about why she's MAKING this take 6 weeks. Never an update from Kim at any point in this waiting period. No way to run a business, don't know how they are still in business with this awful customer service. read more

Just moved into our new home and asked several neighbors who they used for window treatments. Kim's name was mentioned and recommended by all. Kim was so personable, accommodating and very well versed with her product line. I wasn't able to make up my mind on the first visit because I was overwhelmed. Kim was very understanding and not pushy at all. She did come back a few weeks later and not only did I finalize our blind selection but added fabric panels to some key windows. I don't recommend using Budget Blinds at all in Lewes area. They are not customer friendly at all. The manager Keith actually argued over the phone with me after I suggested a time and date for an installation of one blind that took over 6 weeks to come in. My entire job which included 5 rooms of blinds installation started in June 2016 and never was completed. I finally had enough of their lack of customer service. Major miscommunication between the sales people who come out and measure and the folks who do the scheduling. Had one blind come in the wrong size since it was measured wrong. I caution anyone who wants blinds done and done right to use another service in the area. read more

Kim is the worst salesperson ever. I called for a consultation for blinds in my new home and you can't just schedule a consultation, a salesperson has to call you back. Kim called and left me a message but when I called her back numerous times she would never answer her phone and her mailbox was full. I called again to the Budget Blinds office and told the lady who answered about the problems I had with Kim and she told me she would have Ashley call me. Well Kim was the one who called me and said she was having problems with her phone and that I could text her, so I did and she never responded.
