My wife and I love everything about this place EXCEPT the food. I don't know who they have back there in the kitchen, but they don't seem to know what they're doing. The food used to be pretty good, but in the last year or so, even the pizza has gone downhill. Today was the worst, though. When I heard they had a walleye special on Fridays, I was excited to try it. I didn't even ask the price. What they served was garbage. When I peeled away the beading, half the filet was nasty, gray mud. When the bill arrived, and I learned they were charging $24.50 for this crap. Not cool at all. read more

Great atmosphere, even better pizza, the service was great, the bartender Sarah even boxed my pizza, i know i know, they are supposed to, but whens the last time you experienced anything rekatively close to normal since covid! It's been a couple of months since we got a carry out pizza from here. WHAT HAPPENED?? When the pizza side first opened with new ownwes, the pizza was as good as the Old pizza place that used to be in Merrillville. Tonight the crust didn't seem to be home made and tossed, but looked preformed like maybe it was frozen. Anyway I doubt we will get pizza from there again. If i could give it 0 stars I definitely would. Was visiting a friend in town and went to the bar and felt very unwelcomed. The drinks were good but one lady had had to check our IDs multiple times because we lived out of state. Lady had to come out and remind us that a police station was right next to us because we were taking photos. Super unprofessional and would not recommend coming to this unfriendly establishment. read more

I am visiting from out of state and we decide to try this place. Upon walking in, we found the bar to be very clean and welcoming. TV s are spread all over the place making it easy to keep up with all the sports from your seat. We had beer and had some appetizers. The buffalo chicken dip was really good, we had some pizza, one guy had a Reuben and said it was one of the best he has had. My wife had a salad which was enormous and she really liked the homemade ranch dressing. The atmosphere is comfortable casual and is the kind of neighborhood bar I wish I had in my neighborhood. Good food, good service if you live in the area you should give this place a chance. My only suggestion is put a giant pretzel on the menu and serve it with some homemade mustard. read more

Met up with some work friends for a going away dinner/party. The burger was over cooked & dry. The service was ok, not the worse but not the best. I used my credit card to pay for my meal & hours later, my bank was notifying me that some fraudulent charges were attempting to be processed. I doubt I'll be back! read more

Came on Bingo night and service was super slow. Both Bloody Mary drinks I ordered had no alcohol in them it seemed like so I was basically drinking V8, accept not as good. When I mentioned it to the server, Alex, she did and said nothing AND tried to overcharge me one both drinks saying I needed to say "the special" Bloody Mary even though it's clearly listed as $5 and I had the specials list in my hands when I ordered. read more

Went here to watch Hoosier Highway play. Read a few reviews on other sites and they suggested the burger and the pizza. I had a bacon cheeseburger, excellent!! Tasted like it was right off BBQ grill. We had to have a deep dish pizza after I saw and smelled what the people had next to us. It was awesome!! It reminded me of Aurelio's pizza. This venue also has a outside parlor for either smoking or getting some fresh air. They had a fireplace with lounge chairs all around it, very nice touch!! I don't drink but the wife likes Long Island Ice Teas and she informed me that they were very good. The service was top notch, We will be coming back!!! read more

This bar is kind of expensive but its totally worth it because the staff is super friendly and the kitchen is open late. I think that I payed eight dollars for a pitcher of PBR, the only reason I got PBR was because I thought it would be cheap, but I was wrong. They had a video DJ working on that Saturday night I went there and it was a nice change from the usual DJ who blasts top 40 all night. The DJ played a lot of 90 hip-hop videos which was really unique. I am a fan and will go back sometime. read more

Had a friend visiting from another state and we stopped in here to have a drink. It was after 3 and on a weekday. There were only 5 people in the bar. We couldn't even get waited on. The guy who did was soo busy and rude..we didn't even finish our beer and left. He told my friend .." you should go back to your state" she just wanted to buy a drink for the 5 people in the bar. I guess that's why there's only the same 5 people there. Never will go back. read more
