The place is right behind Buddy and Pals off Randolph. Everything was a hit. Obviously it would have been better/fresher in the restaurant, but that's the nature of carry-out. Partner and I loved the pastor tacos, the guacamole was flavorful and fresh, the kids adored the chicken taco and enchiladas we got them. My mom said the carnitas were perfect, a favorite dish of hers that tastes just like at the older location. The chips were tasty with a hint of salt, and the bag was nice and oily - a sign we weren't getting dry old stale chips :) I want to go back, and dine in, and try a margarita or a draft beer with my meal. Comfortable, friendly, great variety of tobacco flavors and qualities available and good prices. Drinks are also good but I didn't have a chance to try any of the food available. I think what I liked the best was the atmosphere, I'm sure my friend had to reserve or maybe the fact that we arrived a bit early help because at the beginning the place was at a moderate vacancy but by the end of the night all available seating was taken. Their furniture arrangement is also great as it allowed us to bring three tables together and arrange seating around it for a fairly large group so we were all together instead of spread apart. Overall I am pleased and I would highly recommend for a get-together its economical and very laid-back with friendly service! Best of all you get a nice variety of people there :)

Not much room on the "back side" of the bar. Booths are hard on your cheeks. Tables are better for a group. Here's the fat: If you're looking for a Martini or something, look elsewhere. Here it's beer, and simply mixed drinks as fast as they can pour 'em. This is another one of those NWI no frills just bottle and draft beer places. If you want a particular mixed drink - bring the recipe... they'll make it for you. If you don't smoke and have an aversion... stay away. One side of the bar is less that 3 feet from the East wall... not many people pass through there but, when they do it's an awkward invasion of your "personal bubble". That said... it's a bar so personal space doesn't really mean much, especially after people have a few drinks. The booths here are particularly hard, I suggest sitting down gently unless you've got plenty of cushioning back there. Another thing about the booths, you're likely to find all kinds of change in the seats... change, cigarette butts and a coupon for Pizza Hut. Best bet for a group, tables. They can be put together for larger groups and there's no faux padding on the chairs to make you think they're soft. Very strange and disappointing experience for my first time here…read more My friend made a surprise reservation for her boyfriend's birthday, 12 people in total. While we were trying to order drinks, the manager came over because the waitress thought one of my friend's ID "didn't look right". Now his ID is from Illinois, but he then presented MULTIPLE other forms of identification. We were then told that they would not serve him. When my friend and I tried to order drinks, the waitress took a long look at both of our IDs, asked what drinks we wanted, then walked away. When she returned, the manager came with her and we were informed that we would not be served. I am 27 years old and have never had an issue with my ID. My friend is 24 and presented his passport card and FOID card. My 23 year old friend was denied because the waitress claimed she went to school with her, even though she had no idea who she was. I WISH I could have tried the food and drinks for myself, but I was denied the privilege.
