They sent summaries and fun pictures of their adventures. She had a major seizure during a visit. Her walker provided amazing care to my dog and a detailed account to the vet. They were dedicated and supportive on a most difficult day. I recommend them highly.

Untangled Leashes is AMAZING! If I could, I'd give this 1,000,000 STARS!…read more POSITIVES: 1. Walks are 15-25 minutes each day with lots of interaction with the dog walker so these are happy pups! 2. I get tons of photos via text and email of their walks each day which are time stamped. 3. Dog walkers are extremely reliable and on time. 4. Easy online portal which allows you to make easy changes to the schedule and also provides a report card of how they handled their business and any pertinent information. 5. They always give the dogs water before and after their walk and a treat if you request they provide one of your treats. 6. Very responsive at all hours including weekends, especially when you have a last minute situation that comes up and need a dog walker. 7. Easy and accurate weekly billing. NEGATIVES: None. BONUS: Melissa also went the extra mile and corrected some of the bad behaviors that the dogs picked up from a previous, less competent dog walker. The dog walkers are dog lovers and you can tell that they love what they do. I highly recommend them for your fur babies - I promise you won't be disappointed!

Kat was phenomenal and I loved the updates that were made available through the app, email, or text. I used Time For A Walk for a handful of visits over Christmas. The office assistant, Sharon, was…read morevery responsive and also did our client consultation and was a pleasure to work with. My dog's sitter came reliably and I appreciated that he was clearly genuine and honest (ie for one walk he mentioned that Brody mostly sniffed around rather than covered much distance, which is totally true and showed me that I wasn't just getting a canned message about his walk). The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is how tedious the client registration process was. After my initial email inquiry, I was sent a 15 page document to complete, scan, and send back- all before even confirming my service requests were doable or answering my questions about how billing would work. I know there are online portals for walk services that might have made getting set up a little more convenient, and which allow for email walk messages rather than the paper and pen notepad messages. But again, no complaints about the staff or service that would prevent me from recommending this business- just some opportunities for the client-side experience.

I've used this company for about a year and a half and have had a good experience with my dog's…read morededicated walker, but anytime a substitute walker is needed there seem to be issues. A decent example is when the substitute didn't have a key to my unit (a key which my dedicated walker has) and saw that the management office was closed (there is a sign on the door saying to push a call button to get in touch with someone from the management office), instead of calling my cell or my emergency contact, the walker just stayed in the lobby for the allotted walk time. This meant that my dog didn't get walked that day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time so I write this review as a caution to anybody looking for pet walking services that while this company's dedicated walkers are great, they don't have the best customer service when your walker isn't available and at the price you're paying per walk, it's unacceptable that this type of incident has happened on multiple occasions.

I have two very high maintenance dogs that require a lot of patience and understanding, which Maggie is never short of! She understands that the dogs require time to warm up, and that they both have good days and bad days just like us. She really takes care of my dogs as if they were her own, which is really all you could ask for. She's easy to get a hold of (for scheduling changes), her portal is easy to use, and she's a pleasure to work with! Her prices are also hard to beat!

If you live in the Mosaic District and surrounding area and are in need of a dog walker/pet sitter,…read moreI would highly recommend Brittney! We were in need of a pet sitter for a day since we would be out for several hours and felt guilty living our Goldendoodle, Winnie at home by herself for a majority of the day. Winnie also got along with her two Golden Retrievers, Blue and Watson and was worn out all day from playing with them so much since they all shared the same energy level. Brittney is insured and bonded (always an important factor!), and all of her services include: time stamps, GPS tracking, report cards, and updates through photos! Her pricing is competitive for the area and she also offers new client and referral discounts. She also has a free consultation prior to understand your dog's needs and to answer any questions you may have.

Brittney has been there every step of the way in my doggo journey - literally from the beginning! She was a wealth of dogmom knowledge and helped me navigate the crazy-scary-wonderful life adjustments I went through during the adoption process (shoutout to Lost Dog & Cat Rescue!). It gave me HUGE peace of mind knowing I could rely on Blue Paw if something ever came up at work or if I had to go out of town. She keeps me up-to-date on pretty much everything that happens, when it happens (including "report cards" - see attached photo!). I'm going to call it like I see it, because I live it - as a milennial professional in the NoVA area, I want to "have my cake and eat it, too" - I want to kick ass in my career but I also want to have an adorable furbaby and take care of him way better than I take care of myself. I don't want him home for 8+ hours a day without a good break. If I can't make it home for a midday walk myself, I know Brittney is able to save the day. I trust her completely - Cooper (my doggo) absolutely loves her, so much so that sometimes I worry he loves her more than me! But I have to admit that if he does, it's because she totally deserves it. Sidenote: I'm a brand new doggo owner, first time ever, and Brittney knows exactly how to make me feel better while I'm somewhere else feeling guilty I can't walk Cooper myself. She sends me plenty of photos and videos (once we even videochatted while I was overseas and homesick for my puppy!). This is also the perfect time to note that Brittney should maybe think about running a puppy photography shoot side gig, because her photos are basically professional quality. I'm just flabbergasted every time I open a new message and see Cooper looking like a model (see attached photo as proof!). It always puts a smile on my face when I get a message from Blue Paw! I am a loyal customer through and through.

Problem: The company we originally hired had not properly set the cat-feeder so our cat had not eaten for the whole day, and possibly for the three days prior. She's a geriatric cat who needs to eat every six hours. By the time we identified this problem it was late at night on a Friday, the other company had closed (basically 9-5 hours) and could not be reached. Solution: Andrea & Javier. They were the only ones to reach out to me within the 20-30 minutes that some other companies here are on Yelp are apt to respond to (Yelp has this information) AND were able to take on the emergency. I had sent a batch message to pet-sitting companies in the area and within 20 minutes Andrea called me on my cell phone. By this time it was close to midnight. I told her the situation and she was very sympathetic and agreed to go in, fix the feeder and feed the cat that night. They were very communicative during the process. After they fed her, we contracted them for the remainder of our trip. Conclusion: Andrea & Javier really are the best of the best. Their sympathy, availability, & work ethic are impeccable and you want someone like them to take care of your pet while you're away.
