Remembering Divine was a local, and long time business I didn't hesitate to call when their 14 locations returned in my google search for tow companies. I spoke to CJ at the Wellesley and Nevada location who gave me GREAT information, and even gave me a quick cost estimate given the information I had in regards to what the issue was. He completely avoided the usual " Sorry no idea until we see it.," kindly letting me know that they never know until they are looking at the vehicle but that if it was the hose, but gave a rough idea. He asked where the car was, told me what the tow fee would be and let me know there is a $30 discount to repairs if you have the vehicle towed and repaired at their shop. When David the tow truck driver arrived, he asked me what the problem was and assured me the repair would be quick and easy! He also informed me hat they had been very busy that day, which was super obvious upon arriving at the shop. Expecting a late afternoon or even next day pick up I returned home. A couple hours later CJ returned my call letting me know that the car was done, AND that vehicles can be paid for and picked up until 10 pm at the Wellesley and Nevada location, in the service center! I didn't have to leave work to pick up my car before they closed or wait until the next day. Divines was super helpful, really fast and completely affordable. I learned, through that series of phone calls, that a lot of mechanics won't even work on hybrids. But Junior answered our call and made arrangements to look at our vehicle that day, with every intention of getting us on the road as soon as possible. Only, our vehicle ended up needing not one, but two major repairs. The engine had blown a head gasket, and the hybrid battery had failed. Before bringing us the news about these expensive repairs, Junior consulted with other professionals in the field to confirm what he was finding. It was clear he had built good relationships within the automotive community and wasn't afraid to seek a second opinion. Junior found us a brand-new Toyota hybrid battery and a replacement engine with significantly fewer miles than our original. He also took the opportunity to address smaller repairs that made sense while the engine was out, potentially saving us considerable labor costs down the road. He was mindful of our budget and made sure we'd have a say before anything pushed the cost higher. From the beginning, it felt like we had someone on our side. Junior was transparent, welcomed our questions, and was even willing to speak with trusted friends who knew more about cars than we did and wanted to help us understand our options. He kept us informed throughout the process, sent pictures as repairs were completed, and even sent me a video of my husband driving away in our Highlander. Our vehicle runs beautifully now. We called Clyde's Mobile Automotive because they came highly recommended by a close friend of ours…read more They were our first call because of the recommendation, but we called 8 other shops afterward to get estimates. When I called Clyde's, I said the exact same thing that I said to every other shop I called: "I have a question about my X year X make X model car. On Sunday my acceleration sputtered on the freeway at 55 mph when I was getting up to speed, it lasted about 5 seconds, and then I got to 60 mph and it was fine and I got home no problem. "Today [Wednesday] is the next time I drove it, and it turned on and moved a few feet then died completely. I turned it on again and had the same exact occurrence. I can't afford to tow the car to a shop, pay for diagnostics, find out I can't afford the repairs, and then tow the car somewhere else. So before I tow it out, can you tell me some of the the possible causes, and tell me the estimates for those repairs?" Cam at Clyde's told me, "I feel very confident that the problem is a cam sensor, and the part could cost about $100." He told me in laymen's terms what the cam sensor is and does and why he felt it was the issue. Then he said, "I'll come out to where your car is and diagnose it on the spot for $65/hour. I'll get under the hood to confirm and check for any other issues too. Then I can tell you what the parts and labor will cost if you decide to hire me for the parts and labor. I can be there in about 45 minutes." I texted him my address. Cam and his partner Sarah got here in 30 minutes. In the meantime I called 8 other shops to get other estimates prepared. In every call I said the exact same thing I told Clyde's when I called them. Every other mechanic I talked to either told me: "There's no way of knowing what's wrong. I have no idea without running diagnostic, which will be [$99-120/hour]." Or "It could be the fuel pump, an ignition module, or a crank sensor, or a hundred other issues. I have no idea what the cost will be without running diagnostics, which will be [$99-120/hour]." Or "It could be the fuel pump, an ignition module, or a crank sensor, or a hundred other issues. Those could cost anywhere from a few dollars, to a few hundred dollars, to a thousand dollars. I have no idea without seeing the car." I was pretty bummed out by those phone calls after speaking to Clyde's and getting the information Clyde's was able to offer. Then Clyde's (Cam and his partner) arrived. The diagnostic confirmed exactly what he told me he thought the issue was on the phone. Then he went under the hood AND under the car (right here where it broke down!!!) and examined some things to further confirm and make sure no other issues were present. He found that my passenger brake light was out. Then he showed me the cost of the parts he found locally using Amazon. He verified I was okay with the cost. His partner went and got the parts and he stayed with me and my car and did some more inspecting. Sarah returned with the parts in 20 minutes. Then they fixed my car right here, the brake light and the sensor. I didn't have to tow it anywhere. I only paid $65 for diagnostic work. He only charged me the cost of the parts ($96.70 including the brake light), the $65 diagnosis, and 2 hours of their time at $70 per hour. I will **always** use Clyde's Mobile Automotive, from here on out. They told me they do regular maintenance work like oil changes and brakes too. Not only was the cost incredible, but the service was incredible, and Cam and Sarah also just seem like truly, incredibly kind, warm people. I can't believe they aren't the most popular mechanics in town.

We were concerned about what we should do as it was the afternoon on a weekend. I remember hearing commercials about Golden Rule so I immediately searched them and found that we were less than 2 miles away from this location. We went in and were greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. We told him the situation and he let us know that they were booked for the day but would be happy to look at it after one of the cars were completed. We were so grateful he was willing to get us in we were happy to wait. After one of the other vehicles was finished they pulled our vehicle in. They were able to determine that a rock had gotten behind the caliper and was causing the grinding sound. They removed the Rock and did a inspection to make sure there was no damage, and luckily there wasn't. They were able to determine that our tires brakes and rotors looked great and no additional work was needed. So relieved we went to the counter to see what we owed and were shocked, they weren't charging us at all. They said it was an easy fix and they were happy to help and if we need anything in the future to come back. We are so incredibly grateful for this wonderful company that puts their customers first.
