Juan and Greg are the most accommodating and informative mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with about car troubles. I came in for a simple oil change and was informed that my turbo was leaking ( I was aware of this and already had an appointment set up at another shop ) and with that Clark's quoted me 800 + dollars less than the other spot that I was originally looking at! Fixed it in a few hours and even showed me bits and pieces of the process along the way. On top of all that they showed me pictures of trouble areas and spots that needed attention. Answered literally every question I had about the pictures and let me know the level of importance for each thing that was brought up! In the end these two went above and beyond to help me out and solidified Clark's as my new go to spot!

In the end, I drove out and the steering wheel was pulling to the left. I went back and told them the car was pulling left. They said, "Okay, we'll redo it." I waited another 40 minutes. I drove out again, and now the car and steering wheel were pulling to the right. I went back again, and then they told me that the front wheels and rear wheels were pointing in different directions and that they needed more time to fix the issue. In the end, I had to take my money back and leave. I will never go to that service again.

They described every issue our two vehicles had and would give thorough advice concerning the work required. They would also never work on our vehicles without our consent. Their honesty and professionalism were displayed when my wife brought in her old Honda Civic. It was leaking from the front left wheel well. Preedy's called us later to inform us that our car required no work at all. The fluid that was leaking was tested and confirmed to not be a part of that model of car. They told us of a scam where people would spray fluid under a car to make it look like it was leaking. On top of that honest warning, they didn't even charge us for that time in the shop. We were going to be here a month and it was hot so we needed it repaired. A perfect scenario for a mechanic to rip us off and believe me, they tried. We took our car to Silverlake Automotive on Sherman to start. We just asked them to check the AC. They of course came back with "looking over" the whole car and giving us their recommended fixes, including our AC. It was $7800 worth of "repairs" and $3200 of that was for the AC clutch, flush, etc. but they made the mistake by telling us that they looked at our carfax to see what repairs and services we had done to determine their recommendations. Mind you our truck is a 2015 that we bought brand new and it only has 48k miles so not sure how they came up with some of their recommendations. One of the recommendations we literally got done before we left on our road trip to Idaho so I knew it was BS. They also told me they needed to do the flush and extra stuff for them to "guarantee" their work so basically you are paying extra for their guarantee. I felt ripped off. We had to pay them $200 for the analysis though, but I knew we only needed the AC clutch and compressor repaired and also researched that they can tell if your lines are contaminated to where they would know if they needed to flush the lines. With that being said I submitted that analysis and quote here on yelp and it was sent to a few mechanics in the area. They all came back with less quotes but still expensive. Like $2k-$2200 and I had researched it really should not cost more than $1800 on the high end. I called Appleway Automotive based on other reviews and they said he was honest to a fault so I called them and talked to Todd. I told him I needed the AC clutch and compressor done and asked if he could give me a quote over the phone. He had no problem doing that and ge also confirmed he would be able to tell if the lines would need to be flushed. He quoted me $1200. He was no BS. He made an appt for me a day and half later and said he needed my car for a day and got it done same day and didn't even call me to tell me I needed to flush the lines. When we dropped it off, he didn't try to do the small talk "I'm going to rip you off" nice talk they all do. I cannot say enough about his service and would highly recommend. I even sent my in-laws to him the next week as they were visiting and had some repairs that needed to be done but had the same issues we had with mechanics trying to require more than really needed to be done! Todd mentioned that he can't compete with all of these other companies advertising and reviews mean the world to him so this is me helping him out for helping us save $2k. Thank you Todd!!

Sculley's on Pines was the winner!! Brought in my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 to get a few things fixed, before I needed to drive down to Boise (to bring my child back to Spokane). I was able to get the dash lights fixed (meaning the dash and other dash lights work) and they were able to fix the HVAC output and the heat (or AC) blows through any option (defrost, dash or floor vents). They were also able to do an oil change (warning light came on while driving to drop off the vehicle). I am happy I found a reputable mechanic that's close to home.
