Tried Buck's Pizza after seeing it recommended and had a mixed experience. The bacon cheeseburger pizza had good flavor, but they went heavy on the bacon, which overpowered everything else. The crust was a highlight though -- it tasted fresh and well made. The honey BBQ wings were really good. Great balance of sweet and smoky, and the chicken was good quality with very little fat. The cannolis were the biggest letdown. The filling was overly sweet with barely any ricotta flavor, and the shell tasted stale. First time trying Buck's Pizza. It is located in a strip center parking can be tight. I want to be clear that the 3 stars is not for the food but for the lady that was manning the register around 230 pm on Dec 20. If I could break this review up with 5 stars on the food and 1 star for the guest services I would. It is not welcoming to have a blank stare on your face with no greeting with a bothered look on your face because a few guests walk in to dine in. You probably shouldn't be employed here or anywhere that is front facing the public. There was no explanation on anything and did not get a receipt. Just got a price with the coupon I brought. Transparency is key and some people don't understand this. Enough of my rant. The meat lovers Pizza was A+. Perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and lots of gooey melted cheese with pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, and beef. We added the salad bar to our Large Pizza and if I am guessing correctly they were priced around $5.99 a piece. Which seemed kind of steep for a basic salad bar that needed refilling. Had to wait a few mins before the ranch came out. Will I be back to dine in? Possibly only if that lady is not there if she is, I will turn around and go to my next choice. read more

Agh!! Not going to lie I'm a little upset. My first dine in experience a month ago was great. However today it was VERY DISAPPOINTING, I live 25 mins away from this location so I ordered online at 7:01pm, my estimated pick up time was 7:25pm. I got there at 7:24pm and it wasn't ready so I sat in my car. I received a message at 7:32pm saying it was ready so I gave it until 7:40pm to walk into the restaurant again to get my order. Unfortunately, just to be told it still wasn't ready. Not really happy about pick up ordering, it's suppose to be convenient and it's far from it. I've been trying out pizza in the area recently and I'm pretty sure we've decided Buck's is our favorite. I agree with several other posts that the staff is great, the salad bar is pretty darn good and I called once and was told they appreciated my call, but wouldn't be able to complete my order because I called too late... so I called earlier the next time and got exactly what I wanted. Love the crust, topping selections and by the time I order by phone and drive over my order is ready to go! We've been getting a large pep, mushroom and sausage every week for the last month and without exception we've had really great pizza. I can't say much about the ambiance because I'm not there long enough to get a good take on the vibe, but there are usually several tables full of people and no one is complaining! read more

My husband and I love Buck's Pizza. We typically order from them once a week. The ingredients in their salads are always so fresh. If we want a salad, we prefer it from Buck's over anywhere else. We're new to this area, and quite frankly the reason we chose Bucks was because of their good reviews. My husband said the Stromboli was the best he's ever had, my sandwich was delish, and the wings....oh the wings, one word, AMAZING. The owner was so sweet and gifted us with a dessert. A Mont Belvieu landmark and the pizza is good. The previous owner did a wonderful job and she was so nice. Check your charges... this place double charges and tries to say they don't!!! I'd give this place NO STARS IF I COULD! Had been a loyal customer for a while, even after them getting my orders wrong a few times but I still remained a customer. Not sure if this place has new owners but this place has been going downhill!!! I ordered from them recently and noticed I was double charged so I called and after trying to explain and getting nowhere I asked to speak to the manager, the guy had an attitude and said he was the owner. I was super frustrated at that point. I went around and around with him and he still insisted I was not charged twice. The actual Owner cussed me out and was mad at me, said "ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHARGE YOU TWICE!" When I asked "so I'm calling because you CHARGED my card twice I'm frustrated and this is how you treat your customers?" He had no response to that. We went around and around a few more minutes and then he said he'd have to look and call back. Ultimately he called back and I had been charged twice and he said he would refund me back. I recently moved here from the Southwest, and was looking for my favorite kind of hot wings. The Yelp review of Buck's Pizza encouraged me to check them out, and it didn't fail me. Their bone-in wings are exactly like I like them with no breading and the right amount of hotness in their sauce. The pizza is fantastic! It has the right amount of toppings and their crust has a light fluffy crispness to it that is uniquely different. There is a small salad bar inside, with a variety of items to choose to make your salad with. All are very crisp and very fresh. The super bonus for this restaurant is that the staff is very friendly and very willing to make sure you have everything you need. There are many items on their menu which I look forward to trying.
