Called and asked for the managers name because he was being rude and hung up on me. They ran out of desserts and he never mentioned it when order was picked up just gave me something else instead and thought that was ok to do like if he was paying for the things I ordered. Pappa Johns uses real cheese, and they actually hand toss the pizza in-house. At the moment, you can get a large 1 topping pizza for $7.99. Sure, this isn't the best pizza in the world, but for the price, you're not going to find better. The thing I appreciate about Pappa Johns is the consistency. The cheese and sauce are always spread out evenly. This is the best pizza place out of the main pizza chains. This location has always been good. read more

Another let down from a food establishment in the great city of Baytown. I'm wondering if it's the establishments or just the city of Baytown producing poor food and customer service. Ordered pizza from here and they forgot our two-liter. My husband managed to catch the delivery guy and he says,"oh well they didn't give it to me before I left" and then just looks at my husband like that's it. No further solution, no apology. Dude didn't even offer to come back with it until my husband asked about a refund. Yeah delivery guy never came back. Also, they now place the sauces directly in the middle of the pizza. So the ink from the skew at the bottom of the container can adhere to the pizza. read more

Terrible service they took super long to find my online order they always have issues every time we go and nothing has changed. They somehow always have it lost and the people working there have attitudes and it's very unorganized and unprofessional. The food is sometimes good and sometimes bad however the wait time for it was around 2 hours. Another thing is that since they always have my order lost they don't start it until I get there and they made me wait another hour just to receive it. I have been severely underwhelmed with the past 3 pizzas I've gotten from here. It's like they hire the laziest employees on earth. I added extra cheese as one of my toppings (the 3 cheese blend) and when I got it you would have thought I ordered light cheese. There was hardly any cheese in the middle. Cheese is the best part of the pizza so this is as a huge deal for me. Especially since I paid extra for more cheese. The veggies I got on here were also just kind of thrown in the middle instead of sprinkled all over. I mean it's really not that hard. Make the pizza the way you would want yours made. I placed an order online, for contactless delivery. The delivery driver totally disregarded this, refused to follow protocol even after I asked him to, and handed me my food directly, making no effort to keep a safer distance or even. He also made me sign a receipt and hand it directly back to him before I was allowed to have my food, causing our hands to touch. I was absolutely disgusted and appalled that he cared so little about practicing safe social distancing. One box also had the safety seal broken open, and my food appeared to have been tampered with! There was a large, very obvious thumbprint on one slice, and food was missing. This is such a disgusting experience, and I will definitely not be ordering from here ever again. read more

Placed an order for delivery tonight. It took 2-1/2 hours for delivery, it was cold when it arrived. When I tried to contact the store the phone rang and eventually disconnected me. SUCKY CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE BAYTOWN, TX Store. Tried this several times and still couldn't get thru. So finally got their call center to see if they could help. I was told that the store delivers until 12 am, so your pizza would be delivered tonight. Seriously I placed the order at 6 pm, why would I want it delivered at midnight?? I had to repeat what he said, so i could confirm i heard that correctly. PAPA JOHN'S Customer service sucks too. When the driver finally arrived, i asked him if it was cold and he just looked at me like a deer in headlights. Then he said, yes we are really busy at the store. This will be my last order with Papa John's pizza. Obviously they don't care about their customers (at the store level and corporate level). I would rather spend my money with an establishment that wants to give good customer service. Don't waste your time ordering here. We ordered one pizza and cheese bread at 7:00 pm. I got a notification on my app that it had been delivered and it hadn't. I called five times before I got someone to answer and they said "the driver brought it back because she couldn't find your house." I asked why she didn't call me and they said "I dunno". Apparently this store does not know how to do its job. Not only does the delivery driver lie when stating that he could not find my hotel, but no one called me. Then when I called an hour and half after the order was supposed to have been placed, I was told that they would remake the pizza and that it would come "when the delivery driver could get it there". The manager, Patricia offered excuses, no understanding or urgency and acted like they were doing me a favor by offering to get me a pizza 2 hours after I originally called.
