For a dinner at the Inn Between that was unplanned and only occurred because nothing else was open, my best friend and I were pleasantly surprised! The Irish Style Pub created a fun atmosphere and the service was prompt. The only thing that seemed a bit strange was the "bread" basket and I use the word bread lightly since all they offer are hard snack-wrapped breadsticks and a few crackers, but we let that slide once we tasted our meals. I ordered a Bacon burger and my friend ordered a Turkey Burger. Although on the menu most of the burgers only come with cheese and generally one topping, it was easy enough to add to that to make something a little more gourmet. We both found our burgers to be HUGE and delicious, cooked to our specifications and on a sturdy bun. The cheese on the burger was stringy and melted perfectly and neither were overly greasy. The price was right for the food we got and we left pleasantly full. Located in a great spot in town, I would recommended this place for anyone looking for traditional American Pub fare. read more

Came here a few days ago and had an amazing dinner not only is the staff amazing cause I asked to switch tables twice I am pregnant and couldn't get comfy but after two moves was perfect and not one gave me a look they were so helpful we got hot wings to start which are delicious then my hubby got the fish and chips which we both agreed very good and because it was steak night I went with the flank steak and lobster roll with mashed potatoes it was cooked perfect and tasted great was so pleased we ended the night with a chocolate lava cake and fried banana cheese cake now none of the food is imaginative or anything it's pub food but some of the best pub food I ever had everything was spot on and the staff all of them were so friendly and helpful will def go back :) read more

Buckleys has been a family favorite for a long time. We are obsessed with their corn fritters which everyone must try! I have never had a bad meal at buckles and I believe that their prices are very fair. If you enjoy pub style food definitely give buckles a try. read more

I came here for lunch with my husband and two small boys and we enjoyed our experience. The place itself is polished and nice to look at, but not pompous, if you know what I mean. The food (both adult and children) came out quickly and was delicious! Our server was patient and efficient, two things I appreciate when I have my kids in a restaurant. Simple pub style restaurant. Pretty good french onion soup. Fairly basic menu, all the usual findings one would expect at an Irish pub, i.e fish and chips, shepherds pie (also good), burgers, salads, etc. Inside could use some updating, refinishing some surfaces and flatware and china seems cheap. All in all I would stop by if you are looking for some good soup and some whiskey to wash it down. read more

The owners and staff always do a great job! You don't want to miss trivia night and the St. Pats parade here either.It's always hard not to get the steak tid bits app and the the wings with the freshest Guinness around, but make sure to check the specials. The "special" chicken Marsala was a mixture of chicken cutlets microwaved to mush. "Not microwaved" according to the bartender, who also asked me if it was a "special" when I ordered it. He's new so let's cut some slack I've been there. I wish he would have asked me how it was before I paid, it doesn't feel right having something taken off the bill after its paid for. Especially when it's not even the manager who was willing to deal with it at this point. I've been here a handful of times and it's always been acceptable, it's a pub for chrissakes. But this was entirely terrible again this whole entire plate was microwaved, you could tell from the gelatinous gravy they called Marsala, to the quickness it was delivered from kitchen, to the heat emanating from the plate. No gracious welcoming and hardly a concerned goodbye after a terrible meal which was not followed up on. I will never be back. read more

For the second time in a row now we arrived at the restaurant and were seated immediately and then told that we would not be able to place an order for at least ten minutes. Mind you this last time the dinning area was only half full and upon asking the waitress why she told us that "the kitchen is very busy with bar and phone orders and is backed up at the moment and that she would let us know when we could even place a drink order." THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! You have now told us that the dinning room does not matter and that people sitting at the bar and phoning in orders are more important than dinning room customers. Now that this has happened twice in a row it's clear that the business does not care about the people who bother to actually drive there to sit down and dine. This is no longer a destination for nice in house dinning and now must be considered a take out joint / bar. Too bad because the wait staff is actually very good and I feel bad for them to have to be put in such a bad situation by idiotic management decisions. As for the food once we were ALLOWED to order the porter house that I ordered medium was overcooked, dry and tasteless. I won't go back. Too bad, we used to love this place. read more

Expensive drinks and mediocre atmosphere. The place doesn't have a pool table and their draft beers are $6 a glass (on St. Patrick's day). Food can be prepared well but I've heard about issues. Seems as if you're not a regular or know the staff you aren't treated with much respect. I don't know if I would consider this place a "Steakhouse" either, it has more of a pub feel to it. After this past weekend, we will not be going back. We went to grab a bite to eat and sat at the bar. There were two other patrons at the bar and two others at tables, so the place was not busy. The bar tender (Steve, I believe was his name) was helping someone else so I got up from the end of the bar and went to look at beers on tap. Once I got back to my seat, he was handing my husband a Sierra Nevada which I informed him I would have one too please. He huffed and rolled his eyes as I am guessing he was annoyed that he had to go back to the same tap to get my beer? I am pretty sure that is your job there buddy. We asked to see menus and ordered one appetizer and a burger and I then saw on the place mats that he gave us (there was no other advertisement for this) that all day on Sunday is two-for-one appetizers. I told him as he was at the machine placing our order that we would get a second appetizer and to please take the burger off. He again huffed and made a pissed off face in which my husband looked at me and said wow, nice attitude. We are year round residents and have been here a handful of times but based on this experience and two others where my husband's burger was burnt when he asked for medium rare and another occasion when 2 fish and chips were ordered and they were still frozen in the middle and my pasta dish had a dead fly in it, we will not be going back. We attempted to give it more tries than it deserves. We do like Buckleys in Center Moriches though. We have only been there twice but both times the bar tender was pleasant as was the waitress. read more

The service here is way too slow to make up for the mediocre food. The bench seating is entirely too uncomfortable which makes you not want to stay all that long. Although the corned beef sandwich I once had there was pretty good, it did not make up for the wait and seating. read more

Warm, inviting atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We both had the butternut squash soup special- it was one of the best I've ever had and even better than the one I make. Waitress seemed very young and inexperienced, but her positive attitude made up for it. She didn't know anything about the wines or beers, which is a little disappointing. Grilled chicken caesar salad was gigantic, a very generous portion. I got the Irish sausage with mashed potatoes and gravy. A very tasty traditional dish done just right. If you're looking for a great burger, this place is great. We've tried lots of places for take out burgers but they always end up being way over cooked by the time we get home. This place made the burgers just right, medium rare, the bun wasn't soggy, the service was quick, price point was perfect (compared to 75 Main's crazy expensive truffle burger which didn't come close to how delicious Buckley's burgers were). My family used to be regulars at this place. We went on St. Patty's day and had to wait 40 minutes. No big deal as its normally not a long wait. We had a party of four and there where two open tables, one for five and six. The hostess said we couldn't sit there because we were only four. Ok, not the end of the world. Those 2 tables were empty the entire 40 minutes we were waiting. We finally are seated and a waitress opens the back doors so she can smoke. It was a raw 40 degree day and my mom was cold. She asked the waitress to close the door and she said no. She was hot and couldn't turn on the a/c. My wife then shut the door and the same waitress re-opened the door and said it was staying open. Rude doesn't even begin to cut it. We could have eaten with our coats on but we ending up leaving with no corn beef and cabbage. We won't be back and neither will my team after our games in the summer. read more
