This is my first time to the establishment and i will never be back. Friends who visit Buckleys before had taken me there. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and very hospitable, but the heat in the restaurant was unbelievable. The thermostat read 90 degrees . That is unacceptable to the customers and the employees. Not to mention what are the conditions in the kitchen where the food is being prepared are like if it's that hot in the restaurant. Someone should call the board of health. Those poor employees were all over heated and we saw at least 5 tables get up and leave because of these conditions. read more

Pricing is like the Wild West after Covid-19. A few months ago I ordered for takeout a Conor burger as usual and another burger and wings for others. The bill was more then I expected, so I delved. On the menu a Conor burger is $14, but it came out to $17 since it seems they input the toppings individually. After a couple more suspicious add on charges to my other items they then rounded up the bill. Oh, and don't forget the credit card fee - I decided to pay cash since I was sick and tired of all the extra charges already. The food remains very good, but it's been a while since I've been back since ordering/pricing makes it uncomfortable and inconsistent with all their nickel and diming. read more

My wife and I are fans of Irish bars/restaurants, beers and burgers. So finding a place that has all 3 is a glorious event. The burgers are delicious - nice and juicy, cooked to order, but be forewarned about the accoutrements: if the menu says "grilled onions" - that's all the burger comes with. I was expecting lettuce, tomato - PLUS grilled onions - but that was not the case. Not really a big deal and I'm sure I could have asked for them, just order them specifically if you want them on your burger. Kids burger was also just right, lemonade included! The ambiance is typical Irish Bar; cozy, lots of wood, friendly staff and overall, nice vibe. We sat towards the back/side of the restaurant on a sunny day and the light from the stain glass was beautiful! We'll be back. read more

I have always enjoyed the food here, particularly the Irish dishes. Tonight we called and asked if we could purchase an uncooked chicken pot pie and this was no problem. I picked it up and we cooked it and the result was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who like authentic chicken pot pie The crust was spectacular, the filling tasty, filled with delicious white meat and vegetables including the very important peas. This pie is one the best I've eaten anywhere in the world and I say this as a globe trotting ex-Brit brought up on meat and chicken pies. Only wish they did a beef and mushroom version!! read more

If you know much about the Hamptons, you might remember there used to be a "Buckley's" in downtown Southampton. That created the spin off of the "In Between" in Hampton Bays, which has since become the only Buckley's now in operation. This place is just a downright fun spot. It's Irish. There's lots of dark beer. There's delicious pub food (known best for wings and burgers). This place is great for lunch or for bringing in your family for dinner. As the night progresses, however, expect it to get loud. And crowded. Very crowded. The bonus is that they have an enormous on-site parking lot. Head out for a fun time, even into the wee hours of the morning. The old spot became known for a night out to throw darts and grab a big table (inside or out) to have 15 of your closest friends join you for a night of heavy drinking. The Hampton Bays location is, by far, much smaller in terms of the bar area -- but they offer a much larger dining area, which is nice since HB doesn't have a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Check it out for a bite to eat or a late night drink; both opportunities shouldn't disappoint. read more

I am a frequent customer to the Buckleys in Center Moriches and sometimes I will visit here as well. I like how this Buckleys has beer pong on Thursday nights. Adds something extra and fun to the experience of the bar and I wish the Center Moriches one did this as well. They also have their wing and beer special on Thursday but the wings are always way too spicy for my taste. Calm it down a bit! Drinks are decently priced, average. Around $8 or $9 for medium sized cocktail type drink. Bartenders are friendly. I think because this bar is in Hampton Bays, it never really seems to get too crowded. Maybe in the summer it does, but the rest of the year it seems pretty dead in there. Therefore I like going there to get a casual drink and talk with my friends, it's perfect place for that. read more

Stopped by to get some food and drinks, sat at the bar. ( 6/11/21) The bartender made me and my friend feel SO UNCOMFORTABLE. He was so rude from start to finish, he made us feel so unwelcome it wasn't even funny. We sat down and right away asked us if we wanted a drink, no menus given so we weren't sure what we wanted so finally we were about to order and mid sentence he cut us off and was like ID. It's fine that we were IDed even though we're 26 years old it was just how rudely he asked and the approach...he then stares at my ID like it's fake but again whatever I guess I look young? my 1 friend left his ID in the car and he proceed to ask if we were cops??? No we aren't but if we were who cares, we have no problem giving ID... after that he brings over our drinks which clearly he must have thought we were lying about our age or something because he gave us what tasted like juice. The food comes which was good, he never came over and checked on us once. Never came and even socialized with us which is apart of sitting at a bar experience. Never asked if we wanted another drink, we didn't even stay and drink there because of how awkward we felt. We pay the bill he doesn't even look us in the eye or anything, he then gives the receipt back and doesn't give my credit card back.... Had to awkwardly wave him down because of course he didn't look our way. I will never come back here, I've been to the other Buckley's which are awesome and fun but this was such a awkward uncomfortable experience I will most certainly never come back. Since I wrote a review back in 2012, here is my edited version. As a local resident in the Hamptons, I like to support local business. So I retuned multiple times before writing this edited version. Good job on the entire experience here. Liking the food, service and the experience much better than almost three years ago. Alway has a good clientele for the restaurant. Better than most when it comes to a place to hang with your friends in the Hampton's especially in the winter months (less crowded) than the rest of the year. A family brunch with friends on a Saturday in the summer at Buckleys was nice. There were 10 of us and we pretty much had a good selection from their menu. We ordered 4 or 5 apps and they were a big hit and quickly disappeared. The lunch items were hit or miss. I really disliked my grilled chicken sandwich because it was very thick on one side and not cooked enough but over done on the narrow side. The burgers were good but the salads were over dressed and less successful. Two or three people got seafood and love it. The star of our meal was our server, she was wonderful. I have been to Buckleys a few times. It is in a very good location which makes it a great place to meet someone. It is a staple in the area. Although I did not enjoy my order this time, most of my other visits were definitely thumbs up so I would try it again. read more

Go to Buckleys Inn Between, quite often because I Really enjoy their Food and Service. Well tonite felt to me like Fall was on its way, and on their Menu was Roast Chicken with Apple Stuffing. Needless to say, I ordered it, OMG it was Delicious, with Gravy and Fresh Veggies. The Chicken was so Tasty, and the Stuffing Delicious. There was enough to take some home for tomorrow's lunch. Hopefully Chef Paul will add this as a Special more often. read more

Based upon your previews, we headed here to watch the Super Bowl on a miserably rainy winter night and found a warm interior with lots of hightop tables, a big bar and a comfortable dining room. The service was absolutely outstanding. The fresh bread basket was good, and the New England clam chowder possibly the best I've ever had. The typical Irish pub fare at reasonable prices. Definitely one of the better dining options in the area for this type of venue and better than most of what is near the outlet mall and hotels in Riverhead. read more

I came off the beach after a GORGEOUS day and met fantastic service, delicious food, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I had two beers and a late lunch at the bar and my server knew the beer list back and front, offered suggestions for entrees at my request, and even charged my iPhone! The best compliment that I can give is that Buckley's is change-proof. Restaurants on the East End either close or get tired, very few stay in their prime. This place has been a solid staple for years and is well rounded enough to accommodate from your softball team to date night. One time in 2005 John Rocker came in and the status remained quo. FINALLY--- A good Irish joint on the East End!!! My search is over-- Buckley's advertises itself as a family friendly restaurant and they are spot on! I often find families dining there and the bar patrons enjoy their cocktails without disturbing the diners. A perfect storm of a restaurant. Food is fabulous and very affordable. They also have great food specials Mon-Fri for dinner (they could use some better-priced specials on the weekend, as I found their prices a little high for the amount of food you get). Another let down meal. Trying to figure out why restaurateurs just do not care anymore. My daughter was trying to celebrate a night out for her birthday a week later since she had the flu. This night, however, was very disappointing yet again. Chicken pot pie with HUGE masses of chicken you needed a knife and got to cut up. Not much nice chicken either. Large amounts of grizzle and bad pieces. Chicken in a pot pie should have bite size pieces of chicken. The vegetables were simply a bag of frozen peas and carrots. Each carrot was a perfect cube shape. The pasta primavera without mushrooms was pasta with 4 tiny pieces of asparagus and loads of onions. Have had primavera pasta numerous times, and usually there are nice bright colored veggies. Onions, onions and more onions was just awful. I did not want another plate thinking the staff would not be kind in preparing it. My birthday girl had a cheeseburger, and said it was not too good. Semi greasy. My daughter's birthday dinner out was pretty upsetting to her. So rather than order dessert, we went out for ice cream cones. 2 bad trips to Buckleys makes us feel like another owner just doesn't care read more

Not happy. We came in during the World Cup and all seats were taken. My wife is 8 months pregnant and she requested the waitress for an extra chair if they have one. She says none. Meanwhile their main dining area was almost completely empty. We went again to her and asked if they could give us a chair from the dining room and the waitress says oh what if it gets filled up? Really? There were at least two dozen empty chairs! Then she reluctantly offers us some extra chairs in the back. Did not bother to help move the chairs to the bar area. Great lunch had on 9/19/15 !Asparagus salad was appealing to the eye and stomach . Sandwiches selected were Reuben, Chicken Cordon Bleu and grilled cheese BT , no leftovers. Ordered food to go from here during the off-season. Not bad, helpful staff, not many people inside as you would expect during the fall. Had an order of "famous bone-in wings" (hot) and a Conor Burger. Wings were the best part of the meal, cooked nicely, not over or under done... Good flavor, buffalo sauce was very good with nice heat. Burger was so-so. Was topped with cheddar, sautéed onions, mushrooms, and bacon. Ordered it medium, was definitely well-done and dry... would have been really good if it was juicier and medium-rare. All in all, I would try this place again, decent food that would only be better actually eating there during the Hamptons season. read more

I am a big fan of Buckleys Inn Between! As a bar or a restaurant, you ask...both! Great beer on tap, with quite a few Irish selections (as it should be!). Happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-7 offers $3 pints of anything on tap. Very friendly staff and great service all the time. In terms of food, this is the best reuben I have ever had. Well, I usually get the Rachel because of a pastrami preference, but they are both delicious. The rye bread is clearly homemade and makes the sandwich that much better. The drawback is that it is only on the lunch menu...who, pray-tell, does not enjoy a delicious reuben for dinner?! I can move past this though because they have curry sauce that can come with your fries...yummmm! All in all, great place! read more
