Great place to spend my down time waiting on truck repairs. Definitely going to stop back in when I'm in the area.

The Big Texan Steak Ranch is definitely an experience, not just a meal!…read more We went all in and ordered the ribeye, brisket, and ribs with sides of green chili creamed corn, fried okra, and cowboy beans. The steak was flavorful and tender, the ribs literally fell off the bone, and the brisket was solid and satisfying. The standout for me? The green chili creamed corn and fried okra, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The cowboy beans were okay... just beans, nothing special compared to the rest of the meal. Service was superb, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And of course, the entertainment factor is real! While we were there, we watched someone attempt the famous 72 oz steak challenge. Fun fact: it's actually cheaper to take the challenge and pay less than to just order the steak outright. That alone tells you how legendary this place is. If you're in Amarillo, this is a must-stop for both the food and the atmosphere.

My dad…read morehas been talking about this restaurant non-stop since the last time he drove through the area, all of the billboards advertising the 72 oz steak challenge really drew him in. We took a stop here for lunch recently. Our server was okay, pretty bare minimum service and I had to ask for water refills. I liked the fried pickle appetizer, however I felt the pickle spears were too thick. Andreas were good, I really enjoyed the quesadilla and my dad enjoyed his steak. There's a bit of a communal vibe inside, with long tables where you are sat next to other parties. It was fun to talk to other people also going on road trips and talk about where they're coming from and going to.

I eat a wide variety of foods from all over and yet there's something about a burger from Coyote Bluff that just hits the spot. It's an appropriately rustic dinning area with a distinct if not unassuming exterior. Come here is your in the mood for burgers. You won't regret it!

When you walk in, If they have a table available, they will direct you to it, otherwise they will take your last name and tell you to go back outside and wait until they call your name. The menu is fairly straightforward so orders turned around pretty quick and it was a maximum of 20 to 25 minute wait to turn a table. My husband ordered the Hell burger which had the hot sauce on it and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely fantastic as well as the shoestring fries were very good! Hubs really liked that his burger had a ton of peppers on it as well as the hot sauce so he felt like he was getting his daily vegetable allotment, lol! The service was actually pretty quick again, I believe this is because the menu was super simple and they had a ton of regulars coming in. You can also order to go if you don't want to wait as several people did, and my understanding is the packaging is fantastic so just as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. The place is super small and there are tons of stuff on the wall so it's an interesting place. Service was friendly and efficient and now we can check this one off our checklist that we have been here when driving through Amarillo!

This place was *PACKED*! We sat on the patio and I didn't even go inside to get my drinks - I just waited for the waitress to come outside. Fast forward almost a year later... A friend and I were looking for a chill place to get a drink on a Tuesday night. I didn't want to see anybody I knew from anywhere for any reason. So we came here. There was maybe five other people in the bar. Nice and dark inside, cool couches, awesome art and coffee shop-style tables for two or three. Excellent selection of high-end liquor. I ordered a Knob Creek and water, a drink I would never consider ordering anywhere else, a.) because most bars don't carry Knob Creek, and b.) because I usually visit cheap bars to pound drink specials and get out of the house. I really think of this as the coffee shop of bars. It's a place to sip on a nice drink and have an actual conversation, instead of yelling over Kid Rock on the jukebox. A little on the pricey side, but the drinks all come in doubles glasses and the ambiance is cool when it's not packed. I will be back soon, but not on a weekend night.

That should have been my first warning about this place. It's a cute bar but they are dishonest about their prices. The white wine I asked for was $9 on the menu. When I asked my server when I got the first bill I thought happy hour was going on she said " It might be applied to just our house wines." Then, when I pointed out there was a discrepancy on the menu vs. the first bill I received she looked at it and said " Well that might be because the register automatically just applied that charge to the bill". I ended up paying for the happy hour payment after all. It just seems sketchy she hiked up the price for one glass of wine.

The cocktails were excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered the Pecan Goldie, served in a martini glass--a sweeter take on an Old Fashioned. Next was the Bomb City Cosmo, another refreshing cocktail also served in a martini glass. We ordered appetizers and dinner, and everything was great. The menu comes from Toscana Italian restaurant upstairs, and we enjoyed every dish. For appetizers, we had the spinach artichoke dip and pretzel bites--very creamy, and the pretzel bites were warm and delicious. We also tried two salads: the BLT Wedge Salad and the Shaved Brussels Sprout Parmesan Salad. Both were hearty and very filling. We finished with the chocolate pistachio cake, which was a delightful dessert. Happy Hour: Their website advertises $6 liquor Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM. However, the bartender didn't seem to honor it, saying happy hour is upstairs--though that's not what the website states. He did make it right by charging only for two drinks, which equaled the price of the three drinks that should have been on happy hour. Hopefully they begin honoring the posted happy hour pricing. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I look forward to returning. Evelyn, our server, was very attentive and kind throughout our visit.
