The food overall was excellent, but the steak was definitely the highlight for me. I had read some of the other reviews before visiting, including some that were not very positive. However, I have to say that our experience was nothing like those reviews. We had a great experience from start to finish. What makes this place even better is that it is more than just a steakhouse. They have a great bourbon and whiskey selection, a really cool Western atmosphere, live music, and a dance floor. It has a fun, lively feel that makes it a great place to enjoy a meal and then stick around for the rest of the evening. The staff were friendly, and the entire experience was excellent. If you enjoy great steaks, good bourbon, and a fun Western atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by the Western Horseman Club. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Amarillo!

This place has been a go to for dinners when we are in town and now more of a "do we take a chance". Hate to see it and say it but computers and back packs strung across the bar top and children running amuck swinging from the bar stools isn't what we had in mind. Food well we didn't even bother finishing

The wait staff were polite, and the ambiance was really cool. The whole process of figuring out the trick to getting in was a really neat experience as well. The cocktails were excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered the Pecan Goldie, served in a martini glass--a sweeter take on an Old Fashioned. Next was the Bomb City Cosmo, another refreshing cocktail also served in a martini glass. We ordered appetizers and dinner, and everything was great. The menu comes from Toscana Italian restaurant upstairs, and we enjoyed every dish. For appetizers, we had the spinach artichoke dip and pretzel bites--very creamy, and the pretzel bites were warm and delicious. We also tried two salads: the BLT Wedge Salad and the Shaved Brussels Sprout Parmesan Salad. Both were hearty and very filling. We finished with the chocolate pistachio cake, which was a delightful dessert. Happy Hour: Their website advertises $6 liquor Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM. However, the bartender didn't seem to honor it, saying happy hour is upstairs--though that's not what the website states. He did make it right by charging only for two drinks, which equaled the price of the three drinks that should have been on happy hour. Hopefully they begin honoring the posted happy hour pricing. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I look forward to returning. Evelyn, our server, was very attentive and kind throughout our visit.
