Very disappointing experience at this location. I go in to check out some boots I liked that were posted up by the entrance. Try them on and decide I want to buy them, only to be told an employee sold two different sizes to someone, so the only pair left in store was 2 different sizes. They offered to ship them to me so I accepted and paid there. When I get the boots 6 days later, they have a couple scuffs and aren't packed like they're brand new. They look like someone's return. I blow it off and try them on in my house, and decide they are also super uncomfortable and I wouldn't be able to wear them. Had zero time to make it BACK to the mall or the post office to return them until 56 DAYS later, still within the 60 day return window. So I make a special trip to the mall and explain everything. The employee kind of acts like she doesn't believe me and then looks at her computer and says 'the system' won't' 'let' her process the return because it's been longer than 60 days. I had proof of when they were ordered and when I received them, but she wouldn't budge. I asked to speak to a manager and she said I am one. THAT is how a manager handles customer service? A human cannot use their common sense to override 'the system'? Does anyone know how to use their own brain these days? Thanks for wasting my time. I processed the return through the corporate phone number and I won't shop at this store again. read more

Helpful and friendly! The store manager helped my friend and I shop for jeans. It was basically like having a personal shopper! She was helpful, sweet, swift with solutions, and professional. My friend can never find jeans that quite fit nicely or stay fitting nice! She showed us many options and allowed us the time and had major patience with us. Okay, first & foremost, I'm days late to leave a review, but I just wore the outfit I bought here, and I just had to take a moment. This store was one of my last stores to shop in during my husband & I's "retail therapy" trip to the mall. And with all the money we spent at stores prior, this was the only store that only put in any service & put in the effort to find what we wanted. But!!! This was my favorite visit to Buckle and my new favorite location. Aubrielle was accommodating & provided excellent service. If my reason for visiting weren't for just an outfit, I would have spent more since I was helped & she made me feel good about my purchase. I hope to see her soon as I'll be coming to this location because of my experience. I'm assuming she was pretty new when I visited, and would like her to know she's doing GREAT!!! read more

I had to leave these guys some feedback after the service I encountered the last time I was there. I'm mean they've given me exceptional service as well in past, but I think this time it deserves some recognition. I really needed a pair of new board shorts for a special occasion with my girlfriend a few weekends back. Since I haven't upgraded since 01 on swim shorts, I thought this would be a good idea to find a new pair. I went to chandler fashion mall, and I swear every single place I went to had either stopped carrying them or had very sh*tty clearance items because of the season change to fall (We live in freakin Arizona for god sakes!). So I went to buckle because they've never let me down before when I'm looking for something cool. I walked in, and as usually they greet you and ask if you need assistance. I was like YES! I need board shorts bad.... He was like we don't have any out in front but we still have some from the summer season in back. 5 minutes later he walks out with a plethora of board shorts in at least 15 different designs. 10 min later I had already picked and paid (59.99 sticker shock though, but worth every penny). First of all. I have no qualms spending money on clothing... I usually got to the Buckle in Scottsdale and at the Tempe Market Place where I've have raving reviews. I was at this location since I was in the area. I was very disappointed! I immediately get there and she starts to sell me. No rapport whatsoever. First all of she asked "When you looking to upgrade?" Talking about my True Religion jeans. Woah.... I was offended. I was also wearing my Society Shirt and she already threw a purple long sleeve on at me. At this point I let her know she crossed the line with the jeans comment. She then talked about her love of clothes and all. There was nobody in the store, she could have done a way better job. I'll stick with my faithful Buckle in Scottsdale and Temple. I just stopped in here to buy some pants for my boyfriend and had no idea where to start and then an associate SHAUN comes by and offers some help. He used resources to find out what he has bought in the past to help in the search for the perfect jeans. So after he pulled so many options for me I finally found one I was happy with and I appreciated his patience so very much!!! Then I asked if there was a way we can wrap it Shaun wrapped it up so nicely! I was very impressed with Shaun's service and attention to detail I would highly recommend. Nothing me feels more secure with shopping here than the asian sales associate telling me as I look through the racks..... "Just to let you know your size XL and XXL are all in the back." F U lady!!! I don't need no XL or XXL. I have avoided Buckle for awhile now, just because I hate how pushy the sales people are. Last time I was in there I was trying on jeans and the sales guy was throwing shoes under the door and throwing shirts over the door........too pushy. Now I have some sales lady, telling me that I need a XL or XXL? I'm 190lbs.......I wear a 36/32 jean!!! Sorry sir, all the fat clothes are in the back, we don't put them in our store front. First time ever going to buckle I look around find some cute things and one of the ladies that work there asked my size and began helping me find other kinds of shorts in the same size.. awesome... but not so fast... after all that she walked up to me after trying on the clothes with an iPad and was pushing me to sign up for the credit card which I declined to get then walks up to me with a wallet I'm like not today thanks. As I was checking out and about to leave some other guy that works there had the same wallet and was like "Look a Budweiser wallet! Only $20 dollars!" Like seriously come on now... I always buy my jeans at the Buckle. I just love the clothes. I am pretty cheap when it comes to clothes. But i will spend the money on Buckle jeans. I wear them out. The staff is A+++. Love the kids that work there. They are so helpful and nice. Love the service. read more

UPDATE!!: After the experience I had today, especially since it was an incident with a manager, I don't really want to go back. I had ordered a pair of jeans in a longer length and put them on layaway. I paid the minimum percentage of the balance in case I didn't like them, and received a call when they came in. Let me add that I normally LOVE the service I receive from this location, but today I was shocked. A new employee was helping me out and he was super friendly. He needed some help doing somethings which was understandable and I just waited patiently. Everyone starts off from the beginning at times. Well long story short, I got the same jeans in a different length and they had to return my initial payment to me, then I needed to purchase the new jeans. Well when I was looking at the receipt when I got to my car and looked in detail at it, it didn't show the $12 off the payment, and it Just didn't make sense. When I called back and tried to talk to them to understand why the receipt didn't make sense, the manager, Mark I think, was not nice about it. He wasn't helpful with explaining the situation, then insinuated that I had thought that the new employee helping me stole from me, which I NEVER said, nor do I think he had. He mentioned that he also looked at the security camera to check. I was just trying to understand the receipt that wasn't clear..... Because of this interaction, I don't know if I want to go back. I sincerely hope that the head person of this location look at this person!! My husband also said he had an unpleasant interaction with him while trying to get a military discount..... I will go in there when I know that Jenna is there, and only when I know she is there. FIRST REVIEW: The first time I went into buckle, I was already thinking I wouldn't find anything. I've had a few body issues, that apparently only I see, and it's been hard to find clothes that fit me right. Well Jenna greeted us when we first went and she was understanding from the beginning. She listened to all of my concerns and things that I was interested in and off she went. The only time I had to leave the dressing room was to show my husband what I had on. she just kept brining me things. Jenna finally got me out of my funk and helped me find outfits that made me feel awesome in. Now every time I go into buckle, most of the people there know me and Jenna always had new things for me to try on. This is now my go to store and Jenna is my go to person for help! read more

If I could leave less stars I would. I went to this store looking for a pair of shorts. I found a pair that I wanted to try on and the most rude salesperson ever comes up to me and informs me that she has "longer shorts with a curvier cut" that she can bring me. I say no these are fine I actually wanted a shorter pair... I didn't say anything to her because I was kind of in shock that this stupid b just called me fat... I have big boobs doesn't mean I'm fat; I shop at another buckle all the time. Is that how you make a sale? Not today. I did not want her to make any commission off me so I put them down and left. Will never come back to this store. I hope her manager sees this and gives her some much needed remediation. read more

I typically love coming to shop here but recently have not had as great of an experience. As much as I love to be given some suggestions, I also like to be given some breathing room to check things out. My boyfriend and I went in to shop because I needed a new pair of jeans. As we walked in, we were surrounded by 5 or 6 employees remerchandising the front of the store and it was awkward to walk around and look at product. We were greeted pretty quickly by a sales associate who immediately tried to show me a bunch of new shirts. I appreciated the attentiveness but that wasn't what I had come in for. After I had gotten away, I began looking through the jeans and she came to help again. She helped me find a pair to try on and it ended up being exactly what I wanted. I made it clear that I was happy with that pair but she ended up bringing me a few more higher priced jeans that I was not interested in. As I was trying to leave the dressing room, she brought me a large selection of shirts to try that honestly didn't match my style at all. I'm all for suggestive selling but I didn't appreciate her not taking a moment to learn what I'm interested in. The whole time I felt swarmed by sales associates and it was not a comfortable environment to be shopping in. Please don't crowd in the front and PLEASE give us a little space to browse!! read more
